Insights shared by verified travellers who flew the route from London to Toronto

Boarding of the plane is a nightmare, and the gate staff don’t allow sufficient time for each zone to board in order. Get in line ASAP and just start board as soon as they begin letting people on the plane. Also, the self service check in machines won’t print baggage tags (we tried four different machines and none of them would print a baggage tag even though we had done online check in to indicate that we had checked bags).
LydiaFlew with American Airlines-Jun 2024
Give yourself enough connection time in London to clear customs even for connecting flights.
Verified travelerFlew with Air Canada-May 2024
It is a long walk to the gate so make sure to leave yourself time. We were told 4 hours ahead and we should have taken that advice.
