Pros: "Great crew"
Cons: "Very old entertainment system"
Read more about British Airways
Pros: "Great crew"
Cons: "Very old entertainment system"
Cons: "Very cramped business set with no place for storage. Comfort is good though"
Pros: "Direct flight. Crew was good. I got home alive."
Cons: "The crew made far too many unnecessary announcements and the sound system was friggin loud. Everyone on the plane jumped and cringed everytime there was another completely unnecessary announcement. The seating area in coach was also a bit crammed. The flight was full as were the overhead bins so i had to stow everything at my feet and there was barely any room."
Cons: "I badly needed more leg room."
Cons: "At boarding a member of the check in ground staff was extremely rude to my travel companion."
Pros: "Ground crew very responsive to needs"
Cons: "non existing beverage service on a two and one half hour flight :("
Pros: "Again, I liked that we reached our destination safely."
Cons: "Because of the almost 3 hour delay, almost all of the passengers on the flight missed their connecting flight. Including myself. I was moved to a flight four hours later Finally, the last leg of my flight was again delayed 55 minutes and I ended up on a very, very crowded flight and getting to my destination at almost 5pm instead of 9am.... missing a whole day of activities. What did I get as compensation from British Airways? A 5 pound coupon for 'light refreshment' for an 8 hour inconvenience. Brilliant :|"
Pros: "Wonderful crew and flight. A380 smooth and quiet"
Pros: "Amazing crew, kind and patient"
Pros: "Just flight attendants"
Cons: "I paid $123 for the flight and than I was profiled by the attended and forced to pay $85 to check in my carry on as a baggage. My carry on fit in the display model, it was 1/2 inch showing because of the handle and I was forced to pay an extra $85! Almost as much as my flight costed. When I was boarding the plane I saw several people with carry on baggage that were wider and longer than mine. I will never fly thru British Airways or book thru Kayak.com again. When I get back to my country I will file every complaint I can thru google and social media. I never felt so disrespected and ripped off!"
Cons: "The seats rows are too close - high density. The flight was late."
Pros: "None"
Cons: "Took about a month to book an infant ticket, then was issued a ticket with a wrong name, which then took another 3 weeks to be amended. When checking in, the agent told me that my daughter's ticket was not linked to anyone and looked like she was flying solo even though I mentioned to 5 different customer service agents that I would like to add her to my itinerary. Just when I thought it couldn't be worse, captain announced that they were having trouble with the AC for my part of the plane, meaning 7 hour flight was hotter than 80 degrees. I should also mention that trash was not collected until breakfast service."
Pros: "N/A"
Cons: "N/A"
Cons: "Bit of delay."
Cons: "We couldn’t get on the flight. We arrived late because of an earlier flight but were at the ticket area before this flight even started boarding. Our boarding passes would not print at our departure location and I wasn’t able to check in online for it because it kept linking to the American Airlines website for checkin. We tried to print our boarding passes at the kiosks but it said we needed to seek assistance. We were misdirected to the ticketing/rebooking line which we sat in and watched the board change to boarding and later gate closing. There were only two agents at the desk helping the completely full queue. We were told that our reservation was apparently already changed to a later flight for some reason. Being delayed seven hours is a great way to start a honeymoon off."
Pros: "Flew from Gatwick - good airport"
Cons: "Too many children on board"
Pros: "Timely"
Cons: "Frumpy and unkempt crew. No longer offer complimentary coffee or anything. You must pay for everything. Had to give my carryon bag even though there was lots of room inside the plane"
Cons: "Seats are too cramped and not able to fit a person 6feet tall, back pain for a week afterwards Food services were slow small and some of the crew rather crabby. Plane was old and screens not working for entertainment that was also not very interesting."
Pros: "Boarding was quick and smooth."
Cons: "No complimentary drinks. And a stewardess had no idea which countries’ passengers needed to fill out a travel card for UK. I wasted all that time only to find out I did not have to."
Cons: "increasingly reducing space. person sitting next to me overweight and made it uncomfortable for me during the entire trip."
Pros: "Plenty of leg room"
Cons: "The plane was way too hot"
Cons: "I had to watch movies with barely an audible and only one side of my headphones worked. It wasn't the headphones but rather the sound in the arm where the headphones plug in. Made a 10 hour flight even longer."
Cons: "The Plane Was Old, And And Crew Were Not Very Friendly. Seats Also Were Not Comfortable. Feel Like When Servicing From Accra To London, Or Vice-Versa, British Airways Aren't Heavily Interested In Servicing Their Ghanaian Customers."
Pros: "Serve was normal and so was the food."
Cons: "Left the terminal building by bus to the aircraft. Had to exit the bus, WALK ACROSS the tarmac and up a set of stairs to the plane. REALLY, British Air couldn't find a proper gate at the terminal? What if it had been raining or my elderly mother that needs a wheel chair? BA needs to solve these problems fast if they want my service in the future."
Pros: "The plane was very comfortable!"
Cons: "British Airways boarding is very chaotic. Not unorganized at all. They don’t seem to care about economy passengers!"
Cons: "O"
Pros: "Fast boarding despite the flight was delayed and the crew did all what they could to do a fast process"
Cons: "They didn't tell you about the delays! We have to find out through different sources"
Cons: "Poor food, poor movie choises"
Pros: "Friendly staff Not crowded"
Cons: "Please at least give free coffee/ tea or soft drink as it is an international flight Also I was told at checkin that I needn’t have paid $45 for my checked bag as it was under 10 kilos- but this was NOT clearly stated"
Pros: "Flight was pretty much empty. I had more room to relax."
Cons: "Very old and antiquated video monitors. You can hardly see the videos. Strongly suggest a better plane between London and Washington DC"
Cons: "Not even a glass of water?"
Pros: "Friendly, consistently would come to collect trash. Staff was fast in responding to calls."
Cons: "Didn’t find out I needed a landing card until the end of the trip. And they didn’t have pens to fill out the landing cards"
Cons: "Sorry I can’t give you feed back, because I missed flight due to my own fault!"
Pros: "Excellent service, the entire flight staff was friendly and attentive"
Cons: "The only thing I didn't like was the size of the drinks. Regular sized soft drinks, juice or water would have been better especially for 11 hours in a pressurized cabin. I had to ask several times for more water until I found a small water dispenser at the back of the plane where I could refill my water bottle without having to ask the staff. The attendants were always more than happy to give me extra water when I asked"
Pros: "Staff is always nice. Food service is generally good and the food tasty."
Cons: "Older plane that only upgraded business and first class. Standard class seats and entertainment old and nominally functional. Felt more like a third world country than what I'm used to on BA"
Cons: "We missed our flight because of boarding in U.K. Airport because of the employer new and didn't know instruction to enter pr card number and when she get it birding was closed , really its bad thing"
Pros: "Shame that you do not even serve a glass of water!"
Cons: "Lost luggage"
Cons: "I thought I was supposed to get a free meal and was never offered that or even a complimentary beverage. The flight attendants allowed a group of four passenger to stand during almost the entire flight in the aisles and in my row, making it difficult for people to get around them and didn't allow for an enjoyable flying experience."
Cons: "I received no information from British Airways! Luckily someone saw that all flights on BA had been canceled. This is the second time this has happened with British Airways. They have zero customer service and terrible communication."
Pros: "The cabin crew were excellent."
Cons: "Almost everything else! The entertainment system had screens that were the size of postage stamps - and bragged that there were 375 selections. Compare with Emirates, a screen 10x the size, much higher quality, and over 3500 selections. The seats had little padding - a mediocre experience from an airline that should be able to do better."
Pros: "I liked everything about the service."
Cons: "The diabetic meals lacked variety and there was no choice. I was given a chicken dish with potatoes and mushrooms for the first meal and then given another chicken dish with rice for the second . Unlike other passengers I was not offered a choice. Both meal had a high carbohydrate load as they came with a separate bread bun . The first meal had peaches for dessert but my second meal offering had no substitute for the cake given to other passengers. The snack box contained sweet and salty popcorn, salted crisps and malteasers which are to be avoided by diabetics . Overall my dietary needs were poorly serviced by BA on this flight."
Pros: "Everything on the flight was fine the crew was great and the seats had a comfortable amount of legroom."
Cons: "I was shocked to learn that my ticket did not include any check in baggage allowance. Plus the charge of £60 per bags for our travel party of three was just rude. I was also disappointed to Learn that BA would not honor my One World Saphire status in anyway and give me a free checkin."
Pros: "That the flight was not full and empty seats to stretch out your legs"
Cons: "The movie selection was poor. Sat near crying baby and autistic kid very unpleasant. Should have section for family and kids and a way to alert other passengers of young children seating."
Cons: "The plane is not comfortable. Especially the number of toilets is very small: only 1 (ONE) on each side in the touristic part. And it is on the flight London-Las Vegas (10 hours)! One has to go for taking some drink himself. Not enough drinking was suggested during the flight. The screen is very bad. No real choice of movies."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "I paid to upgrade to the exit row because I am 6 feet 5 inches tall after boarding they informed me that I could not sit in that seat because I needed a seat belt extender they made me move to a regular seat that was so tight that my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me coming back was the same the man next to me was 6 feet tall and he had no room also boarding was mass confusion as they have boarding from the front and rear simultaneously with no instructions so people had to shove past each other all in all I will never fly them again"
Pros: "Crew was very nice. Food was OK."
Cons: "Old plane, no USB ports or WiFi for a 10 hr trip. Selection of movies not good. Seats lumpy and not very comfortable. Got stuck next to someone that had started the party before he got on, inebriated and smelled. Was taking over my legroom and armrest. Unfortunately full flight so nothing crew could help with"
Pros: "British Airlines Club - staff were helpful and friendly!"
Cons: "Booked last minute due to a missed connection. As soon as I did and went to counter I discovered the flight was delayed almost three hours. It should have been noted as delayed prior to purchase."
Pros: "We made it to our destination."
Cons: "Left late - missed connecting flight in LHR - although the flight hadn't departed - we were already reticketed for later flight (6 hours later). Eight days later, we are still missing a bag!!!"

Everything could been better

Pros: "nothing"
Pros: "Value for money"
Cons: "Flight was delayed and when we got to our destination there were no staff present to disembark the aircraft so we were further delayed."
Cons: "The website. It kept going over the same thing and I couldn’t do what I wanted to."
Cons: "This is the terrible airlines that we have ever experienced. It’s not organized at all. After booking the ticket, I didn’t say we have to check in 2 hours prior to not to get charged at the airport. When we stand at the encounter, everyone in line didn’t know this and had to turn around to get in the different line to pay for checking in. After that, we had to get back in a long line and the lady didn’t mentioned that she can check in our luggage’s. With that being said, we had to go back to other encounter to pay for checked in luggage. We paid almost $200 for checking in and luggage. How stupid is that? We and other customers in line all said we felt it’s the rip off. We come to Ireland for vacation and expected it would be welcome and nice. This turned us off. Never fly with this airlines again. Thumbs down!!!"
Cons: "Had to stand outside in rain & wind while waiting to board. Took a very long time to board. Very loud people. Excessively loud engine noise. Attendant made me open my window shade. Small seat did not recline. No seat pocket for magazine."
Pros: "The trip was smooth once we got a plane. Everything else was as ecpected."
Cons: "Delayed multiple times and finally departed 2 hours late. Interrupted a full day’s worth of travel plans."
Pros: "There is nothing to like about an airline that appears to have low fares and then nickel & dimes you for everything, typical bait-and-switch style of doing business."
Cons: "First of all, this airline needs to train their staff better. The gate agent I dealt with on a flight has no business in any field where she would be required to work with people. Second, this airline needs to get their s*@t together when it comes to baggage. I was humiliated (by the creature they hired for a gate agent) when I was forced off the boarding line and then demanded to pay 200 euros (cash only and in euros only) for carry-on luggage that was under the size and weight requirements, and had already flown, without incident, on numerous flights during the same trip. I filed a complaint with Ryanair and weeks later received a very passive, useless, response from some brain-dead individual in corporate I suppose. No one at Ryanair cared about the mafioso-type treatment my family and I, including my 80-year-old mother, received. Avoid this airline at all costs (literally and figuratively)! It will not save you money, or anything else. It will only cost you more!"
Cons: "We attempted to cancel our reservations more than a week before our trip because my husband was hospitalized. Not with the flu or a broken arm, but a major and serious life threatening illness we are still dealing with. We provided numerous documents as proof of the absolute dire situation and they denied the request over and over again. I get that the tickets were "non-refundable" but at least offer vouchers, credit, or be totally a stand-up company and refund the tickets. It wasn't buyers remorse, trust me, we would have preferred to be in Portugal, rather than sitting in a hospital hoping and praying for his recovery."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Treatment!"
Pros: "Price"
Cons: "Baggage policy"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "How rude the crew members were and unhelpful."
Pros: "I got to my destination."
Cons: "We were charged almost 200 euros extra because we did not check in online (which we could not do because we had been traveling for 30 hours and did not have Wi-Fi in the air) and when we went to check in the receptionist was rude about the fact that we had not checked in, so we had to go across to a different counter to pay our fee, go back to check in at the first counter, and then was told we could not be seated together, when it turned out the flight was half empty. Besides all of this, the planes are not nice, you are only allowed one carry on (no personal item) and the seats are not comfortable. I thought we would save money but check in fees and ridiculous baggage fees made this flight cost more than a nicer airline."
Pros: "Friendly staff, easy check in"
Cons: "Plane was dirty when getting on, crumbs on the seat, napkins on floor, did not turn the lights of for night time flight"
Pros: "Customer service was horrifying"
Cons: "Staff"
Pros: "Great service, friendly crew. Smooth flight"
Pros: "On time and friendly service"
Cons: "Hard landing was a bit worrisome"
Pros: "It landed on Dublin"
Cons: "It was late"
Cons: "Flight cancelled just a day before departure."
Pros: "I like how inexpensive the flight was. This would make up for the other things had we not been seriously taken advantage when it came to our luggage!"
Cons: "We checked in online the night before our flight but didn't get a confirmation. We didn't think anything of it until we got to airport to find that we didn't show checked in, had to pay EXTRA to have our boarding passes printed off, and had to pay for EACH of our bags as well!! OH! And it's almost DOUBLE if you pay for it at the airport where you can weigh it then if you do it online! And take caution! Our bags that are considered carry on size are still too big for this airline do you will forced to check Them! This is obviously how they offset their inexpensive tickets! The cost of the ticket, once you add in all the other unexpected expenses in order to actually get on the flight, was NOT worth the "cheap" tickets we got! That's the only reason we decided to fly to Ireland while on our trip to the U.K. Had we known it would cost this much we never would have come to Ireland for two days!!"
Pros: "We landed safely"
Cons: "We were charged an additional fee for the flight because we didn't check in before arriving at the airport. You did not tell us we needed too do this. We had very poor internetc and could not check in on line. The ticket agent for Ryan Air was rude, and uncooperative. The flight charged for everything including water. The seats could not recline. This was the worst flight wee have ever experienced. If you are going to continue booking flights on the horrible airline you need to warn them they need to check in early or pay a large fee. We will be contacting you for a refund of this fee."
Cons: "Delayed a bit."
Pros: "It was a quick flight"
Cons: "The employees were just as unhelpful flying to dublin as they were flying out of dublin. Simple questions were met with disdain and annoyance rather than polite answers. We went through 3 different people before finding out that we didn't need to go through any of them which the first person could have told us. By the way the first person was a customer service attendant and he swiftly moved us on to the next line to stand in which was completely unnecessary and a waste of everyone's time. I will never fly with ryanair again."
Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "This is the worst airline I have ever flown and I have been flying a long time. It was hot, cramped, both flights were late and they had us sitting on the plane. And, it really is not as cheap as it first appears with all the extra feeds."
Cons: "self service kiosks were not working in airport and we were told it would cost 50 pounds each to print boarding pass. We followed directions to try to print on our own by paying for expensive internet service at the airport but still were unable to view & print boarding passes. After talking to several rather unhelpful reps, someone at the Sky Desk made an exception to allow us "free" boarding passes. This was just after 2 people were charge full price (50L each for passes & full price to check luggage, after they didn't get promised email to check bags online) Cheap fares doesn't make up for frustration"
Cons: "Chaotic boarding"
Cons: "Seats are too small and don't recline. There's no entertainment. We sat on the aircraft for a hour without any explanation on why we were waiting."
Pros: "I liked getting off the plane."
Cons: "Hidden fees after hidden fees... The lady at the check in counter said my bag was fine... At the gate they said it was to big and weighed too much. £50 Extra. I bought an exit row seat because I'm big guy. The seat belt didn't fit so I asked for an extension and the flight attendant got very snippy with me and said she would not give me an extension because of "safety reasons". (This has never been the case on any other airline I have flown.) She then very rudely said because of your rather large size we are going to have to move you to another seat where we can give you an extension. Like I said I know I'm a big guy but you don't have to so loud and rude about it. At least say it with a smile and some kindness... Wow. It was just uncomfortable and not a good feeling. Later when I got to sitting in my new seat, they came through with the convince cart (no free snacks or drinks, you pay for everything.) She nor the other attendent with her asked if we wanted and thing, if we were doing alright, nothing. Thank God it was only a 1.5 hour flight. So glad that experience is over."
Pros: "the flight crew was nice and friendly when they werent trying to sell you something."
Cons: "Ryanair is a bunch of criminals that prey on the Americans traveling abroad. Yes its a discount airline but my $18 flight turned into $150 after all the hidden fees were paid for. To charge a passenger 15 pounds each to print a boarding pass is absolutely ridiculous. Everyone else around us could use their phones as a boarding pass except for the traveling Americans who did not have access to a printer while on vacation is criminal. Lesson learned, I will never fly Ryanair again and will tell every American I know not to be blinded by their discount fare."
Cons: "We departed an hour late. The crew was very unprofessional. The landing wasn't good. Kept the light on."
Pros: "The efficiency of the crew"
Cons: "The flight was almost an hour late"
Pros: "The price is great. Friendly crew."
Cons: "Delayed with no explanation. Chaotic boarding. Super cramped seats."
Cons: "boarding process could be streamlined; feels like a cattle call with everyone crowding around at the same time,"
Cons: "four hour delay--missed my appointment"
Pros: "Really enjoyed my flight to London & back to Dublin with my Nieces"
Cons: "Would have loved it if there were some Irish stewards or stewardesses on board as it would have been easier to understand their accents and they tend to warmer & friendlier in their dealings with passengers"
Pros: "Quick trip from London to Dublin. Clean, new aircraft. Safe flight from start to finish."
Cons: "No complimentary water!"
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Cons: "The seats are to close to one another and gets unconfortable fast"
Pros: "No frills cheep short flight. Good enough"
Cons: "The comfort"
Cons: "No one knew where the boarding gate was."
Cons: "slow, disorganized check in. Boarding is hideous, I'd rather wait in a DMV line. Airline run as if consumer, and luggage, are to be avoided. I cannot understand why Anyone would fly them routinely."
Pros: "Cheap"
Cons: "Flight was delayed and no on was told"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Did not know there was a 45 euro check in fee per person...never was advertised!"
Pros: "Cheap flight!"
Cons: "Tried to charge us for everything, including 15 pounds for printing a boarding pass. WiFi was only free for an hour at the airport, flight was delayed by two hours, plane lacked AC and was super cramped and hot. Boarding was also a mess."
Cons: "Problems with securing printed boarding passes (non EU) as could not print them ourselves at motel. Finally able to get them without charge after protest. Problem paying for checked bag online (did not go thru) so had to pay higher fee at airport. All this caused delay and rush to not miss flight. Not familiar with Ryan Air M.O. Not informed till 2 days before flight of online check in requirements. Not told could check in 30 days ahead-so could not print passes at home in US before travel. Did not know would have to enter and exit plane via stairs with large carry-on. Ryan Air should be more up front about extra charges incurred if you don't follow their protocol-esp. for first time users. Now know and will not fly with them again. Ended up costing as much or more than flying Aer Lingus Bristol to Dublin would have."
Cons: "The crew said there would not be drinks because of anticipated turbulence for the entire flight. There was NO turbulence."
Cons: "Boarding was delayed and took forever"
Pros: "We had been scared by other reviews, but this was not as bad as we'd read. There is no entertainment onboard, no food except for sale, and some luggage restrictions you need to take note of before you check in. Otherwise, quick smooth flight, friendly staff, luggage arrived, so overall fine experience."
Pros: "Friendly crew"
Cons: "Boarding was chaotic"
Pros: "If you are flying without luggage or carry-on, Ryan Air might be fore you."
Cons: "The airline charges a ridiculous amount for EVERYTHING! We bought our tickets and realized almost immediately that bags were not included. We tried to upgrade our ticket type to be inclusive of a bag, but took two hours to navigate their automated "customer service". Finally got through to a live person (which they charge for), they will allow you to upgrade the ticket if you bought through KAYAK. You have to purchase your bags separately, and 1 bag was significantly more than what our ticket costs. I contacted KAYAK roughly 5 hours after the original purchase, and they could do nothing because Ryan Air is a low cost carrier. It was cheaper buy Aer Lingus seats inclusive of luggage than to add luggage on Ryan Air. I will never fly Ryan Air again, and caution anyone trying to buy Ryan Air through KAYAK"
Pros: "We were unable to check bags in advance. Staff handled at bag drop."
