My friend was flying with me and she was told that her carry on, mind you had flown to and within europe, was too big for the overhead storage and she had to pay 90 euros to check it and the woman held her boarding pass and wouldn't give it to her. we waited in line at the service desk for over 40 minutes so that she could pay. We arrived to the airport 2.5 hours early to eat and shop for souvenirs. We barely made it in time to get to our gate because of the inefficiencies of Lufthansa. 1 person working a service desk for a large airport is unacceptable, especially when they are 8-10 waiting to scan your baggage and not helping out at all. I had a wonderful flight to Europe on Lufthansa and was absolutely appalled at the attitudes of the airport staff and their lack of customer service."

Since we were connecting to an International flight to return to the US there was no possibility we would be able to get to the International terminal through security and board our flight in the time available. I had paid a change fee to come home specifically for that day which I lost, not to mention 9 hours in the airport... the flights for the following day were totally downgraded from my original booking. Was so upset I could have cried...."
Pros: "Fast as smooth"
Cons: "Flight LCY-ZRH (19:35-22:10) departed delayed by >1h, we had to wait in boarding staircase standing with 9mth old baby for 45mins. Due to late take-off we were too late to land in ZRH as runway had already closed. Diverted to Stuttgart, where no BA staff was on the ground to deal with and all services had already closed (~00:30). Basically ~50 customers were dumped at a place they didn’t want to be and no info on his BA wanted to deal with it was given. After 1 week still no info on compensation. And this wants to be a major carrier?"
Pros: "Fast security and passport control at both ends, Home in 30 mins after landing"
Pros: "Last minute flight (booked 4 hours before departure), one way, economy, for €99 from Amsterdam to Edinburgh via Gatwick. Long layover at Gatwick (around 3 hours), but I had much work to do anyway, so time went faster than I realised. Not sure if this was the case at Schiphol, but at Gatwick had priority security queue as a BA customer."
Pros: "Crew were nice and helpful"
Cons: "For some reason we were boarded and ready to go and only then did they think to send for a de-icer. A 40 minute delay on a 1 hour flight. At the other end we then had to wait 20 mins to get off."
Pros: "Simple flight left later than expect but arrived earlier than scheduled. Leg room was plenty and not like other airline where you feel packed like sardines."
Cons: "Nothing so far just a shame my luggage was damaged."
Cons: "Boarding at Gate E46 was disorganised both in timing ans execution. We were told on checkin that boarding would be early and it was late, closer to the original estimated time and then the order of boarding, parents with kids, then ExecClub and Business, and then others was ignored..."

Cons: "The male crew in the bag is not try to help people put on the carry on language to the top of cabin. He stood there and look at us. When I directed to him and asked for help, he just stood there for few sec. and decieded to help me but with an attitude. Same as the other lady need their help to put the backpack in, both male crests stood there and wasn't planning to help, and the passenger stood up and assisted her."
Cons: "According yo the kayak app on the moment of booking the flight was going to Heathrow, but it went to Gatwick. In addition, the tariff did not include one checked luggage as shown on the app as well. Really disappointed with my first use of kayak."

Cons: "I bought a return ticket for my daughter to fly to Amsterdam for the summer. I was allowed to purchase this flight from Kayak and BA from ATL to LON to AMS. Departure was for the end of May to the end of August. When we were checking in the attendant told us that the ticket was no good and we had to purchase another ticket because the travel was over 90 days. At no time did BA or Kayak let us know this information but had no problem selling us this ticket. We were literally extorted for another $1000.00 so she could depart. Shameful! Will not be using your site or BA ever again."
Pros: "Nothing, I never had the opportunity to board"
Cons: "We had a quick trip planned to the go to London traveling from Amsterdam with British Airways. We were able to check in without a problem, but getting through airport security took a substantial amount of time, which caused sever delays getting to the gate. Once at the gate, we were told that we could no longer board the plane as the gate had already closed. Even more shocking, the service people told use that our entire itinerary (AKA our return flight) was cancelled as a result of this. You can imagine our frustration as we had tickets in hand looking at the door to the plane that we would have been allowed to walk through had security taken 5 minutes less. In the states, if airport security is holding you from missing your flight, this is communicated with the airline and proper arrangements are made. Unfortunately, this was not the case, forcing us to buy a new (last minute) ticket and losing a lot of money."

Cons: "Undue stress, over booked flight, lost luggage. Zero customer service. Will never fly BA again."

Cons: "check is was horrendous. Long queues of people, long wait and not enough people to man the check in counters. Sitting down in my seat my kneeds immediately banged on the seat in front of me. Its clear that this aircraft has less leg space that then usual. And now you have to pay for all food and drink. £9 for a sandwich and G&T."

Pros: "Food good and very attentive and friendly Cabin crew Amanda made the flight a pleasure."
Cons: "we're professional musicians who fly all the time with fragile equipment. the airline applied an overweight baggage fee (fair enough, normally) but their payment system was down. rather than waive the fee, we were made to wait an hour to pay 150 euros. after scrambling through security we narrowly missed our flight. rebooking took hours and involved going back through security all over again, having our equipment searched for the second time. when it came time to gate-check our guitars, the airline lost them. we wound up boarding our connection to JFK with no idea where they were. finally they turned up on the baggage belt. we would never and have never agreed to send these delicate items through general baggage. One guitar (50 year old gintage guitar) was broken in the process and another of our hard cases was damaged and needs to be replaced. Completely unacceptable from start to finish."
Pros: "No access to any lounge services. Food selection and quality significantly behind competitors. Does not just the price charged."
