I was pleasantly surprised. I've never flown this airline and the seats were comfy, I couldn't select my seat but luckily got aisle and was able to comfortably sleep the whole trip except when they came around with an in flight free meal, drinks then snack at the end. I'd fly with Aer Lingus again. The only annoying thing is you had to pay for WiFi for different hours of usage but luckily I didn't need it
The embarkation at Dublin was a kin to a Ryanair approach, in other words a circuitous and cheep access
Most narrow seat of my life. Easyjet has larger seats. And as I just wrote in the last comment section - Seat 1A promises luxury after a great businessflight. Instead, it's narrow, the seatbelt is 20cm shorter than the one in 1B, it's just a joke.
No snacks, drinks or coffee. No entertainment, not comfortable seats
This was a great flight. I love the way they had general boarding board from the back first by seat row and in general the flight was very comfortable. The seats were actually comfy, and the food served was surprisingly good.

The service was some of the worst I have experienced on an international flight. The service was rude, the quality of the food was very low. The speed of service was insanely quick. You couldn’t finish your pretzels before the meal came before the coffee came before trash collection came. Then they never came back for 5 hours. They rushed everything so they could get it over with.
A special shout-out to one of the check-in staff at DUB yesterday noon. We had to use the "Closing Flights" counter and we met, hands down, the most efficient person - able to resolve several issues in the matter of minutes, while remaining polite and calming everyone down. Great job, Aer Lingus!
Air Lingus was in no hurry to get us on the plane as sat at the gate a long time before they boarded us. Then they leave us on the tarmac for an hour. They were no help to let me know what I needed to do to get home. I had to navigate London Heathrow with 0 help from them.
The delay was very discouraging--- having to wait in the airport during the heat wave after a long flight from the US was a challenge.
The worst thing was baggage claim. In my return flight I was waiting 90 minutes for my baggage. and when I asked the airport they said it’s the airline. So frustrating after an 8-hour flight.
Should really consider a better, smother boarding. Stood in tunnel for 20 plus minutes. Should start from back passengers of plane. Not front.
The ground staff did not load my bag onto the plane and despite me watching from the bus that my bag is not being loaded and taken back on the cart to the terminal, I pointed out to the staff and ge laughed upon checking my tag and knowing they made a mistake. Instead of calling the cart back and loading it he said we can’t fo anything and you should file a report upon landing at RAK. I told them my stay there is short and i needed my bag as it had everything I needed but no avail. Even the pilot was informed, staff of the plane was aware but all in don’t care mode. Upon arriving at Marrakech RAK, i filed a report and being told it might come in next flight tomorrow and we don’t provide delivery service, you must come and pick it up. If it doesn’t arrive on time then it will be sent to your home in the US. Unbelievable stress and inconvenience that could have been easily prevented by the ground staff.
Boarding experience was awful. TAP claims I did not have check in luggage with tickets. I went 3-4 check in agents until I finally found a helpful kind agent who checked in my luggage with no fees. On top of that our flight was over 2 hours delayed with barely an apology or explanation.
Checkin was very slow, we had checked in online and hoping we could do a bag drop at the airport. However everyone with checked bags had to queue up and it took over 40mins. Our advice arrive extra early or you will be rushing to the gate.
Bused out to the plane, then back to the terminal. Plane was delayed for 2 hours - most of that time spent sitting in bus or plane with NO EXPLANATION of what was going on. Departure delay due to crew not showing up on time. FIX THAT. Why do your own international flights NOT have gates with ramps. Being 74 and having to carry my carry ons up and downstairs is awful.
We had seats 1 D and 1E which is right to the front as there were no other seats available. It is right up at the galley and toilet. Whole flight was very noisy and busy and we didnt get a good flight or rest the entire flight. Its was a pretty costly Business class fare that felt like Economy class experience.
An hour late. Plus literally everything was unavaiable for food and beverage service. Will never fly again. Ever.
This would have been an okay flight, had it not been for the following. At the boarding line they had another line for luggage control of some kind, basically they weighed your carry on luggage together with your personal item together (in my case my backpack), and if it was overweight they asked for 125 euros right then and there. We basically couldn’t board without forking over the 125 euros. It was insane the price. I’ve paid maybe 50 euros in the past for overweight carry ons but 125, more than double is unjust. I flew TAP from Florence to Lisbon and we had no such treatment nor weighing of our carry ons. And then when we flew from Lisbon to JFK, they had a whole line of individuals asking them to fork over the 125 euros. Their weight limitations is considerably low compared to other airlines. Very upset. In addition the bathroom on board had a good amount of water (or maybe even pee) in the bathroom floor. In addition the the garbage slot in the bathroom was over flowing. This was at the start of the flight so it was clear that no one had cleaned the bathroom. In addition they tray tables were also not clean. Mine was covered in a sticky substance and I ended up having to wipe it down myself. I did my best to avoid using the bathroom again during this 7 hour flight. And when I told the stewardess of the bathroom, she said it wasn’t their job to clean the bathroom, which could be true I guess. You would think an airline was more sanitary especially after COVID. Would Not fly TAP again and do not recommend. Spend your money elsewhere.
Drinks such as water (unlimited and coffee should at least be offered for free!

flight delay was announced after passengers were staged to board the flight. Communication regarding subsequent gate changes was poor.
Although our departure (DUB) was slightly delayed we reached our destination (LBA) ahead of schedule. The price was very competitive too (around €100 return). Plus, the departure times for both legs were very good: 13:05 and 15:10, respectively. I gave a neutral rating for Food and Entertainment because I didn't avail of either.
Just pushing back from gate now. Boarded into fourth aircraft with 13 hour delay to scheduled departure. Crappy experience.
Notified as to why there’s a delay with our flight.
They boarded us but somehow did not manage to record us boarding, so rather than check if we were onboard they removed our bags from the aircraft. I got a call from Ryanair staff in Dublin when I landed in Madiera asking me where I was!!! When I said I was in Madiera I was told what had happened. Our bags were to be sent to Madiera the next day via Manchester, they didn’t arrive. They are now due to arrive two days before we leave. I don’t see myself using Ryanair again unless I am forced to and even then I may just refuse.
Flight was over an hour late. Boarding was really messy with long queues at the plane.
The staff were very helpful with getting the wheelchair for me and bringing my carryon down the stairs from the plane.
As on the tin a fair price for a fair flight ✈️👌✈️
