When flying to Faro, you’ll arrive at Faro Algarve Airport (FAO), which is located 3 km from the city centre. Airlines that fly from Ireland to Faro include American Airlines, Aer Lingus and Ryanair. The shortest flight to Faro from Ireland departs from Dublin and takes around 2h 50m.


Comboios de Portugal is the most popular train carrier serving Faro, followed by AccesRail. The train journey from Faro to Lisbon takes 3h 00m and costs around €11 for a one-way ticket.
