Trenitalia is the most popular train carrier serving Sorrento, followed by Italotreno. The train journey from Sorrento to Salerno takes 0h 24m and costs around €18 for a one-way ticket. When coming by train from Milan, expect to pay about €10 for a 0h 26m trip. The train station in Sorrento is called Sorrento Mare, and is located 0.1 km from the city centre.
