Great location to pick up a car that is not at the airport. Friendly staff. Had to wait to long in a line of only 3 people. The employee redeemed himself with me by offering to just take the keys and email the receipt before helping the next customer. That was helpful and attentive to my needs. It was definitely a good fit for someone who needs a car in Phoenix and does not need an airport rental.Reviewed 21 Dec 2021

Rental of SUVPros:Good on gas Ran goodCons:The Hertz desk person was rude, not very friendly. The SUV was dirty inside and not washed. I had to clean the windshield to get all the dead bugs off. I was given a vehicle that was just returned. The desk person should of made sure it was clean and could of been a little more pleasant. He didn't even walk around the vehicle to check if it was ok, told me to take pictures. He was not friendly picking up or dropping off the vehicle.Reviewed 21 Mar 2018

The Agent for Hertz at Residence Inn by Marriott TempeCons:The agent at Residence Inn by Marriott Tempe was extremely rude and didn't give us the car on time. We were 30 mins late and the agent made me wait and didn't give me the approximate time the car will be given to me. I had to go to the doctor so I left the place.Reviewed 2 Jan 2018

Cons:Showed up at 12:40 for 1pm reservation. Attendant was no where to be seen. Sign on desk with phone number to call rang the phone at the same desk. Attendant showed up at 1:20. He claimed he had only been gone since 1pm. Seeing as I had been sitting there for almost 45 minutes at that point, I kindly let him know that I knew he was lying. I finally got o. The road at 1:45, just in time to hit the rush hour traffic I had been planning to avoid.Reviewed 12 Jun 2017

Terrible situation all aroundPros:Literally nothingCons:They called me 10 minutes before our agreed pick up time , while in Uber, to tell me they had no more cars. They provided no alternatives, no solutions, no accommodations, no compensation or any future discounts etc. Just told me I was SOL. I asked for the manager and he said it was him - Cannot explain the lack of empathy that he showed. It was pathetic for a Hertz manager to be as terrible at customer service as he was.Reviewed 14 Nov 2016
