Pros: Who knew you had to go to San Antonio to find one of the best hotels in Texas! It's modern luxury at its finest. Located in pearl district, hotel Emma sits center stage in a very charming environment. What was once an old brewery is now a cozy hotel with modern luxury finishes. The service matches the 5 start prices and interior. Highly recommended!

Pros: My room was very nice and had everything I needed for the week. I had a fully size fridge, microwave two desks and a separate room. It was nice to walk outside the hotel and be directly on the Riverwalk with great restaurants like Macy's, Ritas on the River and Iron Cactus just a few steps away. In the evening the hotel offers three free adult beverages with "snacks" but it could easily be a meal. We had chicken strips, salad, pasta and a baked potato available most evenings. The Air Force sends me here for training once a year and I look forward to staying at the Drury Plaza.,

Pros: Staff was unprofessional. Check in was at 3, we got there at 7 and the room still wasnt ready. While we waited for 45 minutes we had to get dressed in the public restroom and my girlfriend had to straighten her hair in the hallway because there was no outlets in the restroom. After we finally got our room we had to rush to the spurs gsme that we had planned and ended up missing the first quarter all because of the staff at the hotel. We decided to switch hotels the next day. Other than that the hotel was really nice looking.

Pros: For a JW Marriott, the hotel is "very tired" in need of restoration.
The tables in the lobby bar were chipped and in bad condition.
The leather armchair in the bedroom was dried and cracked - should be replaced. Towels were not of the quality one would expect in JW Marriott. The standard of JW Marriotts outside of the US is far superior.

Pros: This resort expertly combines family-friendly with luxury. The pool situation was perfect as the little ones have a dedicated area full of slides and fountains while the lazy river and other pools cater more towards the adults and older children. My 2 year-old was fully entertained for several days. This resort offers the full array of dining options from poolside burgers to fancy dining. The staff were super friendly and quick to offer assistance. I would definitely recommend this resort to families traveling with small children who are looking to experience some relaxation and keep the kids entertained.

Pros: Liked the lay out of the room; the TV in the door to the bedroom didn't reveal the TV in the living room for example. The beds were comfortable. The room (307) was large. Great location,. Great ground keeping. Everything was predictable, and good. Put simply, no worries. I have a motto about out of town travel; "I only trust Hyatts and I barely trust them". Having stayed in two Homewood Suites (San Antonio and McAllen), I now trust them.

Pros: San Antonio's 1859 hotel was all it promised. Perfect central location next to the Alamo, and the Menger Hotel itself is rich in history, generously displayed throughout the building. Pros: This bad experience had ever happened to me and my family before. I will never use again KAYAK again to book my reservations. Result, they have this "Getaroom" subsidiary with a poor description of their booking application, and it scammed you before you know the transaction has a nonrefundable policy until it is too late via your email confirmation.
I called them, my credit card, agent, and the hotel. None of them were in the good customer satisfaction attitude to refund my money, cancel, or reschedule the booking transaction.
Be aware of using them to book your reservation before it is too late. Anyone can make a mistake some time, but this Draculonian thirsty-blooded camming business does not care for you.
Pray to Lord, this kind of business entities does not prosper any more in the traveler's economy.

Pros: I was in San Antonio due to my mother being hospitalized. I had been at her bedside all week and my family came for the weekend. I needed to relax and get some rest. Casey front desk reception was very kind and went out her way to make our stay wonderful. Walking thebeautiful grounds and being poolside was very relaxing. We always stay at Marriott hotelservices but definitely choose Hilton in our future stays.

Pros: The bed and room was really comfy, we drove down from the border of Wisconsin and Illinois to attend a wedding on 3/21/15. So rest was greatly needed.

Pros: I’ve stayed here at least 10 times, and this was my least enjoyable. Staff was great; polite, conscientious, and thorough. The room was small and dated; carpet and drapes were old and dark. The double glass entry door made it necessary to keep the drapes closed all the time. Coupled with the fact that it overlooked the pool, made for a noisy stay.
