9.7 Excellent
Pros: In 15 days of travel over Ireland/N.Ireland, this was by far the comfiest bed/bedding we slept on. Oh man I wish we were in Sligo for longer. Upon check-in, the girl at the front desk gave us a ton of recommendations for what to do that evening. And I loved the crazy-ass look of the place. Oh and the breakfast buffet had tons of choices.
Cons: Well, we booked online and I don't *think* breakfast was included, which is what the girl at the front desk said, so we decided to pay for it that morning. However when we went to the restaurant, the guy there said that it *was* included. So it's possible we paid twice for breakfast, OR it was just a miscommunication.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and comfy. The hotel design and decoration is very original, different from the hotels where I've been before. There is a small but handy fitness room on the 5th floor where I could enjoy a nice workout on my own. Good quality-price ratio.
Cons: The Front Desk staff wasn't friendly at all and one of the waiters from the bar was quite rude to us when we went down to have dinner the night of our arrival. Definitely something to improve in any hotel with good standards.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Screaming kids in the corridor, but that is an issue for other guests.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was lovely and great location
Cons: I thought the room for a deluxe was not great. I know it was an upgrade but I was expecting it to look a bit more special
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent the night here for my aunts 80th birthday - the staff were just amazing, they were so helpful and always ready to help with my aunt. Definitely would go here again - and the beds are absolutely amazing. Staff are really the best.
Cons: Loved everything!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Property was nice and central , have to commend the staff on such a good job in their procedures they took during the covid 19 restrictions. The sanitised and separated people and tried to keep everbody relaxed . 10/10 would definitely return .
Cons: Very little , its just we went during a lockdown so there wasn’t much to do in sligo itself which was to be expected but we jumped in the car and just went to explore and have to say sligo is absolutely beautiful, if you take your time to driving the scenic route .

7.0 Good
Pros: Loved the breakfast, the staff were so friendly and organised. The cleaning staff were superb and the hotel itself is gorgeous. There is a fantastic view of the mountains and it is only a 20 minute walk away from the city. The beds were SUPER comfy, slept like a baby. We will definitely be back!
Cons: We ordered room service and it appeared that they had forgotten all about us so we had to call them to remind them. However they were very apologetic! Also unfortunately due to this coronavirus there was a lot of facilities that were unavailable, this is obviously very understandable but just a bit disappointing. The taxi that the hotel called for us to go into town was a MASSIVE rip off so, I would definitely advise you to walk instead or organise transport yourself.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The gym and swimming pool are excellent. The bedroom is spacious.
Cons: Nothing.Everything was perfect.

7.0 Good
Pros: The Hotel is an old hotel and the decor is tastefully done. There are steps up to the Hotel so if you are carrying luggage this can be an issue. However, there is a space for wheelchair access at the side of the Hotel and you access through a side door and dark corridor. I was a guest during the Covid 19 pandemic so the atmosphere was stilted and understandably. But the Staff were the shining light at reception the Duty Manager Laurie was excellent and in the Bar the staff member with the Donegal accent was excellent. (Apologies I can't remember his name). Laurie also helped me carry my luggage out of the Hotel and told me a lovely story - She was only working in the Hotel a couple of months, but her Grand Mother worked as a receptionist in the early days of this lovely old hotel in the heart of the city of Sligo. I would recommend it. If you are looking for modern this is not the Hotel for you but if you are looking for nostalgia and a warm welcome definitely worth a try. Great Staff, Good Value and Location.
Cons: The structure of the hotel limits you. The Lift is small (4 People) and has a concrete ceiling. The chairs and table in the bedroom could maybe smaller as they blocked the wardrobe. Look at using space better.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room size, bed and general layout.
Cons: Heating in the room was difficult to control. Water in the shower and sink was very slow to heat up. Sink was slow to empty.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel is a bit dated and could do with a face lift
7.5 Good
Pros: Large room. Dated but fine. Good parking.
Cons: But dated but ok.

Pros: Nice Pub/Restaurant with good food and live music. Nice view from room to the river and the breakfast room. Friendly personal.
Cons: Only a few parking places Average breakfast Took very long to order in restaurant. There has been not enough personal to serve all guests in time, but the waiter tried its best.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were beautiful with great bathrooms. The bed and linens were high quality, I slept exceedingly well. The breakfast was also first class, with many options whether sit-down or on the go. I was impressed with the number of vegetarian and vegan offerings on the menu in addition to the traditional Irish breakfast offerings.
Cons: The hotel has a renovated and contemporary feel, whereas I would have preferred something more quaint, that wasn't clear in the photos. But all other factors more than made up for it!

6.0 Good
Pros: Bar staff friendly . Food in bar was served quickly. Mine was ok - others found it poor depending on what ordered.
Cons: I was there for a family get together. We were chatting but drowned out later by music which was unnecessarily loud - music fine but no need to be so loud - can still have it but people should be comfortable and generally like to chat. It is a hotel not a music venue. I though the rate was expensive for a single room - and several of the family were there - 15 in total - I thought we could have been offered a group rate. At breakfast it took a while to get seated - wedding party seemed to have priority - and not many staff around serving - had to call attention of waitress to get served tea for breakfast. Breakfast food was nice.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The beds were very comfortable and the rooms weren't too warm so perfect sleeping conditions prevailed. Had a lovely bath and enjoyed our view!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Meals we tasty an excellent
Cons: Staff were very friendly and helpful
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Our room was beautiful..I had requested a bath when I got there and it seemed to be no problem to give me a room with one
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was the room where I got my massage...it kind of felt like a closet..it should be painted a nice warm colour with carpet and proper storage for the towels and oils...under the table I was looking at a box of stuff and a stool...you should put a warm bowl of water with flowers and oil in it so it smells nice and nice to look at
8.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was very good room was lovely
Cons: all good
8.0 Excellent
Pros: nice spacious rooms very comfortable. our requests were accommodated every time.
Cons: i liked everything but just noticed small things lacking in the room...no conditioner/shower gel, no welcome bottle of water, no face cloths and no bikkies with tea station. However im sure if i made a request these would have been accommodated. Its a lovely hotel.
