There was just enough interaction with our host, but not too much - just perfect. This is a great wee Irish B&B. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had at either a hotel or B&B. Pros: The rooms was great. Staff very helpful. Beautiful walk along the river
Cons: The only I didn't like was they had no carpark. So if you has large bags it could be awkward to access the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were beautiful with great bathrooms. The bed and linens were high quality, I slept exceedingly well. The breakfast was also first class, with many options whether sit-down or on the go. I was impressed with the number of vegetarian and vegan offerings on the menu in addition to the traditional Irish breakfast offerings.
Cons: The hotel has a renovated and contemporary feel, whereas I would have preferred something more quaint, that wasn't clear in the photos. But all other factors more than made up for it!
7.0 Good
Pros: Good sized room and big bed. Neutral colour decor which I liked. The heating could be adjusted using the thermostat in the room. Barry's gold blend tea bags and nescafe gold blend coffee supplied, quality! choices.
Cons: The pillows were hard. No reflection on the hotel itself but they were noisy guests in a room near mine. That was between 3 and 4 30 am during the first morning of my stay. I phoned reception and someone, the night porter I expect came up to those people. Also one of the accommodation assistants was playing very loud music while cleaning rooms near the one that I was in. I was trying to get some extra sleep because of having been kept awake by noisy guests earlier that morning. I opened the door of my room and asked the accommodation assistant to please turn down the music and she did.

Pros: Very large bed at least king size and very comfortable. Even though there was a small queue , Arthur was very efficient and pleasant and the check in was smooth and took no time at all. We where out for the evening although any of the staff we interacted with were pleasant and efficient, in fact nothing seemed too much trouble
Cons: The only thing that I could comment about was the shower , first it could easily accommodate two people it was spotless, great pressure and the water was very hot, however, there is a notice on the glass partition stating non slip mats are available on request but when I enquired there were non.

5.0 Okay
Pros: It was clean
Cons: Wasn’t anything to do at the hotel
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast lovely. Location is brilliant as my husband is disabled and it was great that we got a first floor room.
Cons: Bit overpriced as most places have a one night free meal incorporated. My husband was annoyed at having to pay for parking, as never had to before.
7.5 Good
Pros: Suited our requirements
Cons: Water saving shower head is unimpressive. Just means you spend longer in the shower.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: In 15 days of travel over Ireland/N.Ireland, this was by far the comfiest bed/bedding we slept on. Oh man I wish we were in Sligo for longer. Upon check-in, the girl at the front desk gave us a ton of recommendations for what to do that evening. And I loved the crazy-ass look of the place. Oh and the breakfast buffet had tons of choices.
Cons: Well, we booked online and I don't *think* breakfast was included, which is what the girl at the front desk said, so we decided to pay for it that morning. However when we went to the restaurant, the guy there said that it *was* included. So it's possible we paid twice for breakfast, OR it was just a miscommunication.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The room was just ok. The meal deal for a single course was good. But I ordered my steak rare to medium, it arrived burnt. House wine was not great.
Cons: Bar could NOT, charge our dinner to the room??? Why I wonder??also wanted us to pay in cash, ?? Soup we had for lunch was cold. My order for breakfast was very, very, slow arriving, had to eat from the self service, otherwise to very late for my hospital appt.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good place to stay staff were great food was very good .
Cons: The pillows were a bit hard but that's more personal preference than fault of the hotel

Pros: The beds were very comfortable and the rooms weren't too warm so perfect sleeping conditions prevailed. Had a lovely bath and enjoyed our view!
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Our room was beautiful..I had requested a bath when I got there and it seemed to be no problem to give me a room with one
Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was the room where I got my massage...it kind of felt like a closet..it should be painted a nice warm colour with carpet and proper storage for the towels and oils...under the table I was looking at a box of stuff and a stool...you should put a warm bowl of water with flowers and oil in it so it smells nice and nice to look at
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was fantastic, lovely people. Even though is and feels old, it's comfy. It has a very familial feel to it. It has load of things to do on the premises, even though I wasn't able to enjoy them as my work kept me away.
Cons: The only problem really was the wifi. The room was advertised with wifi and in room 107 (one that I was in) I had a good strong wifi signal only in on the top shelf of the closet. It could do with a bigger car park, available parking spaces are as rare as wild white tigers.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed's were very comfortable. Food was excellent.
Cons: No air conditioning in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were fantastic as usual.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and food were amazing we ate in the restaurant the first night great food and very reasonably priced best steak we've ever had. Ate in the bar on the second night and once again food was excellent
Cons: Couldn't fault the property at all

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent
Cons: Nothing
1.0 Poor
Pros: The area is beautiful
Cons: When we arrived we did not feel welcomed by the bar staff or local people we felt very out of place. We checked in and went to the room it was a really good size. The beds were so uncomfortable as I sat on one bed I could see a dip in the other bed it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. The pool was very poor, in pictures I seen online the pool looked very child friendly it wasn't at all it is all the one depth. The pictures showed fun things in the pool but when we requested this from the person on pool duty they said they were not sure if there was anything like this available and proceeded to get a ring to throw in that sinks and two little floats. We went for a evening meal we ordered food it was really good we had to ask for knives and forks twice we then got two forks for a family of four we asked for two more so they lifted the knives off the table we then had to ask for them back. When we got the bill there were drinks on it we had not ordered or drunk. The staff had no idea what to do when we told them they went into the kitchen and didn't come back out it took thirty minutes to sort out. The next morning they had swimming lessons in the pool for locals and there was absolutely no room for any guests. The changing rooms were a nightmare not fit for purpose at all. Again breakfast was not up to scratch at all very basic at most. We then were locked out of our room as the system wipes the card at 9am. Honestly will never return to this hotel it was so disappointing. The area and the beach is absolutely amazing so beautiful well worth a visit but o would not recommend staying here
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Right on the pier.
Cons: Could hear other rooms water/shower.

Cons: Pool area a bit crowded and could have been cleaner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very easy, very friendly staffs, feeling like home very comfortable and overall will go back again
Cons: nothing
5.4 Okay
Pros: Beautiful location . Had a lovely walk along the beach . Friendly and helpful bar staff and restaurant staff at breakfast .
Cons: Room didn't smell clean , was dusty and bathroom needed a complete overhaul . We were above the Quay Bar so due to single glazing heard every word the musician sang . Due to paper thin walls could hear the man next door snoring ! Very little sleep had . Reception staff weren't particularly friendly . Wouldn't recommend it to anyone else nor return myself .
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location is good.
Cons: Room was cold, had to ask for a heater. Very basic hotel, don't think I'll be returning there unless they do some major refurbishment.
7.0 Good
Pros: Bar staff and Receptionists were very friendly
Cons: Very Outdated, my queen room with sea view was tiny, all windows were leaking, facilities lacked comfort, cosiness and contemporaneous.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff are brilliant, nothing but good things to say about the staff at this hotel
Cons: THE WORST bed Ive been in, in any hotel. It felt like it was about to collapse, if you so much as threw a towel on the bed it sqeeked like mental, easy to say it was not a comfortable sleep. Unreal how a hotel can have a bed this bad, the mattress has springs coming through which constantly poke you when ur lying down, the mattress must be atleast a decade old, I spent the 2 nights sleeping above the covers just to have a barrier between me and the mattress, completely disgraceful for any hotel, B&B or any overnight accommodation to have a bed this brutal, also the heater make loud sounds constantly when it's on. Very hard to sleep with it being right next to you when ur in bed or anywhere in the room due to it being so small of a room, window has a strong breeze coming from it when it's closed, even without any wind outside it keeps a very cold stream of air in circulation so u have to block the bottom of the window with towels or something to keep the room from getting cold, also keeps the curtains drawn to help with the cold.
