Cons: Restaurant staff (evening and morning) seemed a bit rushed. Oskar was friendly, but the rest less so. One of us got suspected food poisoning (did not eat anywhere else) - suspect the prawns. Hot breakfast was to order, but seemed like mostly from under a hot lamp and not fresh.

Pros: The food was very good and it was very quiet throughout the night. And a very busy place being kind of remote. The weather unfortunately was not great. May get back there in a better season, l want to catch a beautiful sunset.
Cons: The shower was a bit tricky. You wouldn't want to be too big. Narrow doors. You water the floor when turning on the unit. Duvet covers a bit too heavy. A lighter tog would be better.

Pros: Great break with your dog.! It's slightly tucked away ..we drove past it twice arriving.. Coming from Town...Drive slowly after Westport woods hotel .. then it's on the left . Small drive into carpark. (Before speed bump/ crossing...) Boffin Lodge and row little houses ...green space carpark... Boffin Lodge Sign is on roadside but not prominent .

Pros: Accommodation the best since we started our travels two and a half weeks ago. Spotlessly clean, great shower, comfy beds, scrumptious breakfast, friendly owners, walking distance to town centre, great pubs the list could go on.

Pros: Beautiful location. Perfectly situated between Westport & Newport. Our room was actually a lpt bigger than even the picture conveyed. We were pleasantly surprised. Very close to Greenway Cycling track & the amazing Burrishoole loop walks.
Cons: Wifi is not the best but that is to be expected in a scenic lakeside area.

Cons: As we had an early start we arranged to have the kitchen opened early for breakfast. Unfortunately the kitchen wasn't opened at all on Saturday morning. We had to grab a coffee on the way to the race instead. The rooms can be cold at night time. The showers were luke warm

Pros: Free parking available around the back of the property if you can get a space. Female owner was pleasent and helpful. Despite setbacks, it was a place to rest my head and get some breakfast. Nothing awful happened, just lacked comfort/ guest introduction and courtesy
Cons: Introductions to the property on check-in were poor. No explanation of where the bathroom was, WiFi, breakfast etc. So had to ask/guess for a lot of this information. Male owner also didn't seem to know how to use the card machine. Bathroom was outside (I. E. Had to go outside to get to a single shared toilet/shower).

Pros: Great location, easy to find. Even though we didn't use the kitchen it looked like it had everything you wanted. Beds very comfortable and very quiet about.
Cons: We found the girl at reception to be quite rude and felt like she didn't want to be there. Also, she said a few remarks which weren't very professional.

Pros: Location was good.
Cons: Breakfast was extremely disappointing. We were given toast with blue mould and a very hard scone which was inedible as it was so hard. Having read the reviews written by previous guests about the excellent breakfast we were shocked with the the poor quality of food presented to us. The waitress was very unprofessional in dealing with these issues. The fan in bathroom wasn’t working, therefore no ventilation as there was no window. A hairdryer had loose wires which is dangerous and there was a very loose headboard. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Pros: The bed was comfy and the towels/linen were changed daily. The breakfast was good too. Westport was a few minutes by car from the destination.
Cons: We found the host to be very cold and at check-in, the process took almost twenty minutes with us standing in the hallway for the host to arrive. Checkout was awkward too and we had to call the host to initiate the checkout. We didnt have heating in our room and the host didnt respond via booking.com messenger or by phone. The heating was fixed the following night, but I believe we should have been compensated for this inconvenience. We've stayed at many wonderful places in Ireland, but sadly this stay wasn't great.

Pros: What a charming hotel. The staff are friendly and attentive. There is a variety of interesting artwork and one is encouraged to have a look around at the pieces located throughout. The pub and restaurant attached offer delicious fare at reasonable prices, and the bar man took me through a tour of local whiskies. This place is full of character - both the hotel and its staff!
The hotel couldn't be more centrally located, being right on the octagon with all activities within a short walk.
Cons: That I couldn't stay longer.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at the Castlecourt Hotel and especially liked the spacious room which compared to other hotels we have stayed in Ireland, this room was particularly generous in size. The staff were very helpful and friendly - we couldn't have asked for a better service experience. The breakfast is delicious and the ingredients very fresh and tasty. I recommend the made to order omelette - this was the best breakfast omelette - I've ever had. Big call but true! The parking was easy and undercover, I would say it was plentiful too as the majority of guests staying here are part of elderly organised tours (more on that in moment). Overall it was a great location (walking distance to all of Westport) and excellent choice for a one night stay - I recommend this hotel.
Cons: The layout of the hotel is strange and awkward - lifts that don't go to the floor you need and lots of connecting hallways. I was very pleased we were only staying one night as it was a rabbit warren. On a positive note though I didn't need to use the gym as it was more walking for my daily fitness regime. The elderly British guests that are part of the large organised tours that regularly stay here need to realise that they are not the only ones staying at the hotel. They were rude and demanding - pushing in at breakfast, the lifts and other common areas and when I was checking in. They were noisey in the hallways and restaurants and worse than a bunch of children. I haven't visited Great Britain but they certainly were no advertisement for me wanting to visit. Whilst this is not the hotel's fault I would like to see the hotel manager remind the tour leaders, that are accompanying these tours, to have their travellers be more mindful and remind them that they do not have exclusive use of the hotels - rude old Brits!

Cons: The staff were just about present during our stay. There were two staff members in the dining hall, a blonde lady and an older man who were so attentive in the evening time. Other than that, they didn’t live up to much and need a few lessons in customer service and manners. The hotel did not look to be well maintained as our room had an unpleasant smell upon our arrival and we had to go buy our own air freshener, the bedside tables were also on the verge of falling apart. The facilities in the gym were also substandard however the gym receptionist/instructor was friendly and welcoming!
