Pros:Originally rented a Kia, upgraded to Golf @ airport for $5 more.Cons:Car needed servicing. Low Coolant light came on several times (looked under hood, it was very low, but there was a little coolant left). Also, ran out of washer fluid after the 4th or 5th useReviewed 6 Nov 2017

Handy and FriendlyPros:The staff was very helpful and friendly! It was a quick process to rent the car and the drop off process. The cars are close by to the airport which is great when you have lots of bags and kids!Cons:I never like all the additional charges when you show up to get the car. This is not specific to Payless. Good value for moneyPros:Best price I could find, the replacement car I got was brand newCons:When picking up the car they didn't have the car size I had reserved, the company representative tried to put me in a smaller car which was unsuitable for my needs, it took me sometime to convince him that I could not settle for his proposal and that I would expect from him to upsize the vehicle at no additional cost instead of downsizing at the same rate. Eventually he somehow found a proper size car which worked well but had a coolant level warning light come on intermittently while driving. I reported this problem after it had appeared a few times and was asked to bring the car in and exchange it for another. Needless to say I did not appreciate the "welcome treatment" I had received. Smooth pickup and drop offPros:Easy to find our out of the airport. Gas station just at airport entrance so no need to drive around looking to fill up. Jetta was clean and awesome.Reviewed 1 Jul 2017

Process is labor intensive, both for the agent and for the customer.Pros:PriceCons:Had to wait in line not once, but twice, only one agent for multiple customers. Payless was managed by Avis/Budget personnel. Seemed to be a low priority. Would not rent from them again in this location.Reviewed 7 May 2017
