The pick up was easy. The staff was super friendly. We rented a 9 passenger van that was clean and easy to drive. Drop off was a pain, there was a spot that had a bar that was too low for our van to fit under. Luckily a worker was driving by and stopped to help us by moving the bar out of the way. Overall I enjoyed the rental but they should know the heights of their garage!

The pick up was very difficult and complicated. It took almost 3 hours to get the car we needed. That said I want to say that the Europcar employee in CDG was excellent and extremely helpful. He tried very hard to accommodate us.

Absolutely horrible. Experienced flat tire and was stuck on the side of the road. The car was towed back to ORLY and Alamo reported we had to drive 50 kilometers to pick up a new car. This was the morning of my friends wedding. We opted out of a new rental as it interfered with our wedding day plans. Despite purchasing insurance, I’ve been charged with 5k in fees including the cost of the new tire for a car we weren’t able to drive anymore. Absolutely a nightmare. Also, there is no way to get in touch with ANYONE at the Alamo ORLY department. They don’t answer their phone. Will never use Alamo/Enterprise again. They are scam artists.

First, when I picked up the car, I saw there was an extra scratch on the car that was not in the system photos. I pointed it to the guy and he said “oh you are right. No worry, I will take note of it” and then he never did!! So at the drop off place they were asking me questions about that scratch. I haven’t gotten my deposit back yet, so I’ll learn if they scammed me with that or not later. Second, the car was not too clean. I was decent but full of dirt on the outside. I don’t care much about that, but it’s worth mentioning on the review. Third, THE DROP OFF was a nightmare!!! I dropped it off on Lille France (the city location) and the office and the parking lot where you have to drop it off are in different buildings AND THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO SIGNS OR DIRECTIONS FOR THIS. I arrived after the office had closed so there was nobody there to explain this to me or pick up the phone. So I missed my train to Bruges! It was very stressful. The following morning I went to the office when it opened and I finally could speak with a human being. Still, the directions to the parking lot were horrible. Google maps would send me to a different side of the building, and this is a HUGE MALL building, so I got lost over and over and over. I wasted like a whole hour to do the drop off and had to run to catch my bus. I obviously lost the money of the train I got the previous day. If you are a tourist, and specially if you don’t speak French, make sure you drop the car off during business hours because the self drop off is a nightmare (unless you are at the airport. That still doesn’t have much indication as to where to drop it off) COMMUNICATION PEOPLE!! Just detail on the website or when you send the reservation, where exactly is the drop off and what are the steps, one by one, because when you don’t speak the language it’s hard. You make most of your money from tourism! More communication goes a long way. And now, let’s hope they don’t charge me for that scratch I didn’t do it I’ll fly back to Paris and find that guy who lied to me and didn’t take a photo.

I uploaded my documents well in advance of my rental. However they were not verified until 48 hours prior to the start of my rental. I had to contact them to get them to verify the documents. The rental car was NOT ready when I arrived at the airport and I had to contact the company several times to get a status. I was able to get a vehicle 2 hours after I arrived. It has been 3 weeks since I returned my rental car and they still have not refunded my deposit
