On Oct. 18 the Dollar agent couldn't scan my card. Asked to type in the number, he simply said, we don't do that. We can't rent you the car you reserved. The Enterprise agent six feet away, did scan my card and gave a polite explanation of why none of them could type in my number.Cons:

I never actually talked to anyone from Enterprise as both pick up and drop off were handled by a representative at another company's desk. If I had known that, I could have used Budget or some other company and paid a cheaper rate. The car was absolutely filthy. Lots of dirt and bugs on the front grill, animal hair in the luggage area and stains on the back seat. I had to give some authors a ride to a book launch party and was embarrassed by the condition of the car. Drop off was confusing since I had never used that airport and expected someone to be available in the lot to look at the car and take the keys. In the airport, I went to the only desk with an attendant to complete the rental process and told her about the filthy, unsanitary condition of the car. She was unconcerned. This was the most infuriating experience with a car audio system ever. I don't know how anyone who uses a smartphone as an audio source could ever drive this car. When connected with a USB cable, so i could charge my phone, the system kept stopping the audio(podcasts app) and then switching to my music, randomly. I tried to just listen to music but it kept randomly stopping playback, sometimes restarting the song from the beginning, sometimes going to a completely different song, sometimes stopping entirely. I gave up trying to play from my phone and turned off audio in the car completely. while i left the phone plugged into USB to charge, but still, without me touching the phone or audio system, it would randomly open my music and start playing random songs through the audio system. I know my phone is not the problem because my personal car has a USB port integrated with the audio system and it works perfectly with my phone.Easirent
