Once I received the car things were okay. The problem was the lady at the Spokane Airport's counter. There was a dramatic price change (in my favor) on my rental due to changes in the rental. When I asked her to help me with getting the reimbursement she told me that she would not make the phone call to to help me get this taken care of.Reviewed 2 Aug 2022

Booked online with kayak. Never mentioned additional charges for anything over 200 miles but the receipt had we ended up renting would have cost another .30/mile for anything we drove over 200 miles per day. Went to the Hertz counter at the airport to pick up the car and they said they had no cars available to rent. Terrible customer service assistance and terrible management of information. Sales counter was anything but helpful upon arrival and wasn’t interested in looking for other options to assist.Reviewed 26 Jul 2022

Was never aware of the $400 deposit i had to make once i picked up the vehicle even though the rental portion was already paid for plus insurance! Car could have been a little cleaner . And hertz DESK staff could have been more friendly. Outside staff were very kind and helpful.Reviewed 29 Jun 2022

The final bill total ended up being far more than the quoted price. There were several extra charges that weren’t originally discussed or included on the estimate. I didn’t deviate from the trip that I told them I was taking, nor did I return the vehicle with a low fuel tank. It’s not a nice surprise to be charged closer to $500 when the original quote was $354.Reviewed 23 Jan 2022

Pros:I was on my car and on my way in 10 min. The rental was cheaper than any other place, I checked several other companies, and tried doing the bundles with airfare and hotel, direct was still cheaper.Cons:If you don't fill up before you bring it back, which I recommend, they charge 6.99 a gallon.Reviewed 29 Jun 2021
