When I showed up for my reservation the car was not there. The lobby was filled with other people who had reservations but dollar had no cars. They told us to wait until someone brought a car back for us but they didn’t know how long that would be. Dollar charges no late fees for late returns of their cars. Which in theory is good for the renter of the car, but has a domino effect on other customers. I ended up leaving and not getting a car at all. Will not rent from them ever againReviewed 20 Jan 2023

(1) The line at the Dollar check at Logan airport was very long with only one agent at the desk and it was close to closing time at 7:00pm. The agent was very friendly and did the best he could under the circumstances. However, each check in took about 10 minutes to process. The wait time was about an hour. (2) My rental car had terrible visibility and shimmied from any gust of wind. Parking the car was very difficult because the camera and park assist were useless. The Boston Logan Thrifty pick-up process was horrendous. They were understaffed and slow. There was a line of 30+ customers trying to pick up cars that took over an hour to get through. The other rental car lines had no one. Recommend another company.Reviewed 12 Jan 2023

2+ hour wait in Boston. I can send a pic if you want it. The staff person at the next counter said it's like that every weekend. I'll never book Dollar or Thrifty (it was doubled up at the Thrifty counter; no Dollar staff available). The Dollar staff were fine. They were just seriously understaffed.Reviewed 9 Oct 2022

It took over 2 hours to pickup our car in the rental line. I know this is an issue country wide so possibly out of your control to find staff. Once we got the car, very fast out the gate. Car was nice. Got to ticket counter after 5 1/2 hour flight at the Car rental center. Sign said to go to THrifty.. Went down the hall to Thrifty and waited in a snaking line of 20-25 people with only 2 people behind the counter. Fortunately I only waited 25 mins for service. Man behind the counter was extremely nice. Then went to get car and waited another 20 mins or so. But it took over an hour to rent a car after a long flight and getting bags and getting to rental car center. Got to hotel 3 1/2 hours after landing in Boston.Reviewed 23 Aug 2022

This was a complete disaster. I did not end up renting the car, because the pickup location was not at the AIRPORT!! I was supposed to pick up the car at Boston Logan, but after standing in line for an hour, I get to the counter, and the agent informed me that the rental was booked for DOWNTOWN Boston.... why would that have been? Why would I go downtown Boston and not pick up straight from the airport? I asked the agent if they could transfer the reservation and he said he could not, there was nothing he could do and they didn't have any extra cars available. Then I called the downtown office, and they were CLOSED for the day! I had to scramble to find another rental car company that had available cars. I was out the entire cost of the rental since I prepaid, and there is no change or cancellation available. I'm sorry, but this was unforgivable and I will never do car rental business through this website again.Reviewed 28 Jul 2022
