Had heard negative reviews, but have to say this was one of the most efficient car rental experiences we have had. The car was exactly what we reserved and the counters on each end very quick and easy.

The rental rate was much too expensive, but there was a train strike, so we had no choice but to rent a car. We were charged 55 euros for gas when we’d only used one bar on the fill line. There are no gas stations prior to the drop off location at the airport. None. There is a BP on the other side of the road, but the signage is very poor at the airport & we couldn’t get to the gas station or try harder because the passport control line was an hour & half long at the airport & we had no choice. 55 euros for such a small amount of gas is absolutely ridiculous considering the situation at this airport.

We had to catch a flight from Florence at 6:30 am but the drop off office didn’t open until 8 am. We dropped the car at the short term lot at the airport. Their local number didn’t work so I finally got in touch with customer service in Europe and they couldn’t contCt the airport rental office either. Overall, great car but drop off service was not great.
