You're secured with Thrifty against surprises etc., also the admin process works well (e.g. digital/online), the service level is good and the people are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately upon taking the car the jack was not added (nb we didn't check!) and there was a different license plate number on the key than on the car; both we had to explain upon dropping the car off at another Thrifty branch (appr 1000 km further). They had forgotten to fill the washer fluid resevoir as well (again; not something you check when taking the car) which caused some unpleasent driving along the way. Most importantly though, the 1.4l Fiat Aegen Cross is a Turkish only car and not suited to be named a 'light SUV' cq have a higher price charged. It did not live up to the expectations, wouldn't want to hire this again (certainly not for the 17 days we were in for).

They charged us money for lost papers which have never been in the car. Also thesy didn’t say we have to clean the car afterwards. But at the end they charge a cleaning fee….not recommended

Intermediate estate car
Hello, when booking the car on kayak website I saw a estate BMW and booked it and the I was offered an very inferior ford which I did not accept and had to pay 50% more at the destination as had no choice.Feel I was mis-sold. The price should be fair and the product offered should be appropriate.
