They did not have our prepaid car available. Original reservation was for a 4x4 suv. I knew we would arrive late so I called customer service # on our reservation, they said no problem, it’s prepaid, you have 24 hours. When we arrived with our kids late at night after traveling all day, no car and no offer for alternative. Just a shrug. We begged for any vehicle because we were stranded. They gave us a Citroen that got stuck in the snow and we could t get their roadside assistance to help us. Next day, we returned the Citroen and found another hertz with the 4x4 that was on our original reservation and they gave it to us for 3x the original booking fee. We were charged for two full reservations for two cars and now have to deal with sorting out this out. HORRIBLE customer service. We will NEVER use hertz again.Reviewed 3 Jan 2024

Pros:Staff was helpful in addressing the problems that we had with two rental cars.Cons:The first rental car we were given needed an oil change, so we had to get a second replacement car. The replacement car developed a brake problem during our trip, so we turned that car in for a third car.Reviewed 24 Sep 2019

Pros:The drop off was too easy. They never bothered to look at the car or point out alleged damage (which was pre-existing), only to send a notice of charge for "new" damage nearly three days after the car was dropped off.Cons:Hertz fraudulently charged for damage that they themselves had identified prior to pick-up, claiming the damage was new.Reviewed 6 May 2019

Pros:Very swift and clean pick up transaction.
