Car hire at Suceava Salcea Airport

Because it snows heavily in Romania during winter, most of the car hire companies have winter tyres fitted to the cars, without charging you for them. Make sure the fitting is included in your booking if you are travelling during winter so you don't get an extra bill at the end.

Safety and comfort are important to the car hire companies, so they have a range of extra safety options like baby and toddler seats available, at a low daily rate. If you are short, you can also request a booster seat to make sure you don't need that extra insurance. We recommend booking all the extras you want when you make your reservation.

There will be a list of required documents on your booking confirmation, but it's important to remember the following: the booking confirmation, the driver's licence of the person who made the booking, as well as those of additional drivers. Make sure you have a credit card that can cover your deposit and excess; you don't want to be stuck with public transport at the last minute.

Most car hire companies have a rental period of 24h, which means you will be charged for each 24h period you have the car, even if you don't use the car for a full 24h. To save money, try and make your booking so that you return the car as close to the pick-up time as possible. Generally, the cars all have a full-to-full policy, which means, you will get the car with a full tank of petrol, and you need to return it with a full tank. Make sure of this or any extra charges there may be when you book through KAYAK.

Car hire companies that offer shuttle or pick-up services from Suceava Salcea airport to off-airport locations include Autoboca, Autonom, Global Rent A Car, GLOBALDRIVE , and Sixt.
