The staff was helpful and very professional, the room was ok, clean. The neighborhood is very sketchy, though, lot of prostitutes and thugs and just weird people. A guy in Audi following me and my girlfriend for a few blocks, at some point offering us a ride with a silent gesture and getting angry when refused. The street where the main entrance is is one-way and was blocked at the end making it difficult for the uber driver to pick us up right from the entrance. This meant, we had to walk 3-4 blocks at 6:30am in a neighborhood, under the watch of very suspicious individuals roaming the streets. And it was a bit uncomfortable - even for someone who lived over two years in downtown Detroit in early 2000-s
