ONLY A TWO NIGHT SHORT CITY BREAK, BUT FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED IN, STAFF AT RECEPTION CAME TO MEET US WITH A SMILE ON THEIR FACES. SO ATTENTIVE AND HELPFUL WHEN WE ASKED ABOUT BEST WAY TO MOVE AROUND THE CITY, METRO, ETC. BEDROOM LARGER THAT THE AVERAGE FOR THIS CATEGORY. BREAKFAST WAS INCLUDED AND EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY

It was my boyfriend’s birthday and we were given a complimentary room upgrade .

Fantastic stay at this hotel and even got a lovely upgrade that we didn't expect too! Wish every city had a hotel as good this one.

The room was overlooking the generator/compressor area so there was a bit of noise. However the window double glazing is quite effective.

On a weekend break to Brussels, booked this as it looked like rooms were modern. Not disappointed as the rooms were decorated to a high standard, bed comfy and bathroom excellent. A ten minute walk to the pedestrianised area in the city centre with shops nearby (primark, Zara and Nike to name a few). Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

The hotel bar was not open all the time.

Great location in the city centre, close to public transport. The room was big enough and clean. Coffee/tea maker + fridge in the room, complimentary coffee/tea/bottle of water.

Smart TV but impossible to log in on Netflix. Staff was not capable to sort it out.

It is an excellent hotel, very easy to reach from Zaventem airport, by train to Bruxelles North station, from there it's a simple straight-away 10 minutes walk. Very closed to city centre ( Grand Place ), 10 minutes walk. Room was excellent, I required a room for allergic and got a spacious room with wooden floor, appreciated very much. Bed is very large and comfortable. Bathroom and WC are separated, which is excellent, bath amenities very good quality . Breakfast is aboundant, varied and good. Staff is really kind and very professional.

just as a suggestion: improve the lighting ( the room was on 1st floor level and was really dark ), possibily please add a mirror in the bedroom

Very nice hotel, walking distance from both Brussels North station as well as the absolute center of town. I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities. For my stay the price/quality ratio was very good.

The hotel's location is very close to the Brussel Square, five minutes by walk. The room is very clean and equipped with new facilities. The mattress is outstanding. I had the best sleep here during all my 20 days trip around Europe. It is also a hotel with history and interesting stories. The conference room are all named after famous directors, which adds artistic feelings to the hotel.

Very good location. The breakfast is very well. By 272 bus, it is very easy to reach to the hotel from Brussel air port.

Very nice hotel for a business or leisure stay; spacious and quiet room with comfortable bed, good lighting and very nice rain shower Good breakfast and coffee, friendly and helpful staff; very good restaurant with, despite its name "Meat Me", a variety of vegeratian and pescetarian options. 5 mins. walk to Metro de Brouckère and 10 mins. to Grote Markt. Conference rooms are all named after famous film directors like Hitchcock, Fellini etc.

Fitness room "Ingmar Bergman" had no drinking water and cleaning wipes. You can purchase a coke, but in a fitness room this is not really great. No big deal, just to mention it.

- the hotel was very close to the event I had to attend, and much cheaper than alternatives - the reception was open all night long - receptionists were very fast, both at check-in and check-out - I was kind of late for my check-out, but they deemed it ok

- the fridge in the room had limited choices. Anyway, the few options were much cheaper than what I expected - nothing else to report. The experience was quite good. - best regards, I have to write more, no idea why

The hotel was very comfortable. It was clean and tidy. The location was also very good and close to everything else.

The lighting in the room was very limited. Some more lighting would be nice. Also, the placement of the TV has quite uncomfortable.

The location was great! We were able to walk to many of the main sights and public transportation. The room was well laid out and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. We really enjoyed it!

The shower design made it difficult to shower without soaking the floor.

very close to the underground station. And it's 10 min walking from the city centre. The room is huge and comfortable, probably one of the biggest I've ever been. Haven't tried the breakfast but next time I'll definitely try it. And I also found some film directors' exhibition rooms in the hotel's ground floor, don't know if that was open but seems really interesting.

the facilities and the location

we ordered 2 times breakfast in the room specifying that we were 2 persons, both times we got less cutlery and glasses, even after we complained the first time.

It is a brilliant location for travelers who love to walk in the city.

A super hotel

The location is great. Parking is easy, just outside there are always places to park where you pay by the hour (not at night). Its not worth it to get the 20€ private hotel parking.

The shower head was dirty (oxide), as well as the tap. Strange, because all the rest was very clean.

This hotel is so handy for Brussels main attractions & the Christmas Market, and even more convenient if arriving by Eurostar

Just about everything

Fine location (10-minutes walking distance to the North Station and two metro stations (Rogier, de Brouckere) few steps away, and also the main shopping street (Rue Neuve) is just across the road). 10-15 minutes walk to Grand Place. The hotel itself is welcoming, clean, quiet and the staff kind and polite.

Don't have any serious objections. Liked the fast and smooth check-in procedure, room was warm (December) and spacious, wasn't disturbed by any noise from anywhere so could enjoy a quality stay&sleep. Breakfast with a fair choice of food and beverages.

The kindness and the availability

Everything in this hotel very good, the room is spacious, the shower room is big enough for two people and it has a tub and separate from shower room according to my humble opinion they did great design for this point. The rest room is separate from shower, tub, and sink section so good privacy, so if there are 2 people one of them want to use the toilet and the 2nd want to take a shower the both can do it in the same time. The bed is very comfortable except I prefer if they put two kinds of pillows one hard and one soft. The down side of this hotel and hope they will correct it is the complementary like tea or coffee is free cause they gave us one bag of black tea and one bag of green tea and if you need more you should pay and I don't think the tea expensive especially I use to go to different hotels in USA this stuff is free.
