Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: The coffee!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff. Well appointed apartment. Goid location. Great views from pool area
Cons: Beds were a bit uncomfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extra kind staff, a lot of services, excellent location, we had all we needed and more! Handy pool on the roof with very nice seaview (beautiful at sunset). The last day we had the flight at 8:30 p.m. and while we left our room at 11 a.m. we had the possibility to leave our baggages in the structure and most of all take a shower in the afternoon before going at the airport...this added a sea day to our holiday, beautiful service
Cons: The bar at the pool closes at 4 p.m. This is fairly acceptable but it would be super beautiful after a day at the beach to get a drink on the roof while the sun goes down, but again, not a big problem as not every guest has our dreams ;-) but it would be nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent find- very close to the seafront and main square at bugibba We went as a group of 10 ladies and had 2 x 3 bed room apartments - very clean modern and well equipped each also had 2 bathrooms and double balconies great for groups :) rooftop terrace was excellent for sunbathing and a small bar on the roof for drinks snacks ! Very well priced and friendly staff ! Highly recommend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were lovely and helpful. Everywhere so clean, excellent facilities, 2 pools, bar and snacks. You could chill out at the complex without worrying about anything. Nothing was too much trouble. The seafront, shops and restaurants literally round the corner, everything you needed at your doorstep. We will definitely be back here.
Cons: There is nothing really we could fault about sunseekers.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No recycling facilities, had to throw all plastic bottles in with general waste
9.2 Excellent
Pros: we thought the breakfast was adequate but overpriced. would not stay on hotel basis again. we have stayed here twice before and find the staff very friendly and will help you in any way they can. the location is ideal for us as we love the area.
Cons: can't think of anything really. we had a blocked sink, it was fixed the next day. i suppose the only thing would be a restaurant for evening meals but there is no room for one. locks on room doors are noisy, you can hear people going in and out of their rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel great facilities friendly staff easy to access local bus station, lovely restaurants within walking distance
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, breakfast, friendly staff, parking
Cons: Nothing

4.2 Okay
Pros: Gueliz Restaurant and cafe Mazoc are the only good place in the hole hotel.
Cons: Almost fullt of pensioners most of them couldn’t been able self walking. Creapy atmosphere each day due all alderly. All inclusive serves only junk and cheap things.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent food. Animation in the evening was fabulous
Cons: Minor issue: with disabled persons there is no possibility to go in the jaccuzzi
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and it was very clean
Cons: Maltease restaurant
6.7 Good
Pros: Very big, comfortable room, very clean, toiletries, comdortable beds, friendly staff.
Cons: Full of British tourists who were drunk, argueing in the middle of the night, kicking doors, kids with fingers in the food at the buffet. Ended up eating out instead of using the restaurants. Too busy. Won''t stay again in August.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quality of breakfast good but size of resteraunt somewhat large making noise a problem when busy.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Hotel itself was nice. Great area and very close to the beach.
Cons: Buffet food was awful. Really low quality ingredients mass produced and tasteless. Beef was always like rubber. Chicken always dry. Always felt like home made dinners not something served in a four star hotel. Extremely disappointed the poor food ruined the holiday had to eat out a number of times as the quality was so bad. I'm sure parents would love it as it's easy and quick but if you like good food then don't do all inclusive. Four star hotel but low budget food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 2nd. time in this hotel just.love it.will.be back next year
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything in the hotel. We are family of 2 adults + 2 kids. Stayed in the hotel for 7 nights. All inclusive option was a great choice. Food was very good, staff friendly, restaurant very clean. We liked that there were different cuisine restaurants for the dinner. The only thing, that you need to book that in advance. There was plenty of entertainment: aqua aerobic twice a day, games, very good night shows. Pools were clean and plenty of space beside them. Great location. Big parking. Everywhere was very clean. Comfortable. All staff was very friendly. Safe in room.
Cons: We liked everything.
10.0 Excellent

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: There is a parking place near the hotel (but it's for payment).
Cons: My wife and I were staying at this hotel from the 19-th of September till the 21-st of September. The only strict condition for us was a good sea-view. We booked the room with a sea-view and paid for it (380 euro for 2 nights) some months in advance. When we came to the hotel, we saw that it was a room with a parking view. Unfortunately, the staff were hopeless and could not help. The only alternative was to change this room into another one in a hall under repair where the smell of whitening was awful. We could not live there. Well, as an excuse the staff gave us an opportunity to have half-board instead of breakfast only. It was not the solution of our problem, but we agreed. The surprise was when some dishes in the restaurant were spoilt. Besides, it was necessary to make efforts to find tableware. The next disappointment was when we started to use bathroom. There was no chance to take shower without flooding the whole bathroom. That’s why we took shower very fast not to spend time for drying the floor. We should add, the condition of the room was poor as well. Nights at the hotel were sleepless because of noise outside (karaoke bar with really bad singers). It is evident that this hotel was not able to answer basic requirements such as food, taking shower, sleeping at night. Beds were awful, like I was sleeping on the ground. TV was impossible to turn off using remote control, it was necessary to get up and switch it off manually. To sum up, our two days at this hotel were a real torture because of a whole number of reasons: parking-view instead of sea-view, bad condition of our room, poorly thought-out system of bathroom, poor quality of some dishes, loud music at night. There are some photos to prove our complaints.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Locations was good. Close to bus station. The breakfast buffet was pretty good.
Cons: They gave us a horrible room with a useless shower. I complained, then they upgraded us two twin beds. It was like night and day. They never replenished any of the consumables. I would recommend a better hotel. This is more like a three star hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pools are amazing. breakfast was super
Cons: sorry to tell but dinner wasnt that choice of food
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room - huge! Lovely view over the bay and loved the private beach area. Had a fabulous meal in the Carvv Restaurant
Cons: Breakfast - because the hotel is so big, it felt a bit like a canteen
5.0 Okay
Pros: Hotel cleaners vert friendly and nice People. They make you feel very welcomed, workers at reception are not welcoming and very straight faced.
Cons: Originally gave us the wrong room, not the deluxe double I booked online
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was nice. Cocktail bar overlooking sea was fabulous.
Cons: We were 6 people celebrating special birthdays and only one had a sea view room. One set of friends got to there room only to find it had someone's belongings in there. They were moved to another floor. The special requests of rooms together with sea view were not taken into consideration after numerous requests. We enjoyed our stay but a shame that the little extras were ignored.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Best part of this location is the bus out of it.
Cons: Staff were not interested, room was very poor, beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in and the resort is horrible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The water polo and swim up bar was a good time!
Cons: The beach view from the pools were not good and one of the cocktail waitress was not very nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The garden The sea view Spacious quiet room Lift near room Sea and pool
Cons: Grab handle in shower for safety
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Staff very helpful didn’t like a room we were allocated on arrival were given a second great room. So 10 out of 10 for customer service
Cons: Pools closed too early as staff were packing up at 6 for a 7 closure

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The sea water swimming pool was excellent, if rather on the very salty side. Good choice of sunbeds & umbrellas. Good, clean, spacious room with lovely view over the pool & out to sea. Nice clean bathroom with walk in shower. Good choice for breakfast. Friendly staff. It’s a small hotel so not crowded at all. Although I suspect it will feel more so in peak summer time. We were there at the end of September and it wasn’t busy.
Cons: Our room, although clean & tidy could benefit from refurbishment, as it was looking a little tired. Didn’t spoil our holiday though, just an observation. The pool is quite small & I think it would feel crowded if the hotel was fully booked. The hotel did not have a drinks dispenser, although it has a coffee shop where it was possible to buy water from. There is no shop nearby if you need any food or drinks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything else about our stay there. The food they serve is very good and reasonable prices.
Cons: The only issue we had was the sliding door going to our balcony was extremely hard to open an close.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: We were missing vegetables at breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location , friendly helpful staff, sea view room was just wonderful waking up every morning to the boats bobbing on a clear blue sea. Will definitely return maybe next year.
Cons: Possibly more umbrellas by pool buts because I don’t like too much sun.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location staff and breakfast
Cons: Paying for a room safe and housekeeping knocking your door at 8.30am !!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, views and super friendly staff. We had a huge room with wraparound balcony, great aircon and blackout curtains. Read the reviews about the kareoke/noise and didn't hear any of that. Can't recommend enough!

8.4 Excellent (2,189 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Salini Resort in Naxxar (Is-Salina), you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Bugibba Beach and Malta National Aquarium. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall, basic services are all included and even when the parking was busy with guys who came to dine in restaurants the staff kindly found a parking place for me so I did not have to go do that myself.
Cons: A little bit lazy like everybody else in Malta - but again it is everywhere. I wish check-in at 1-30am when I arrived took less than 20 minutes, but when I went down to enjoy my breakfast, had almost forgot about that. In contrast, check-out took me 1 min even when I had to pay the bill.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely helpful, especially when we had problems with our first room. We received complimentary dinner and room upgrade for the rest of the week. The location is great, public transport to get you to either end of the island and beautiful sea views.
Cons: Our first room was not up to the standards expected from the resort as I have stayed there previously, but soon as this were pointed out to concierge they moved us to a new room the next day and complimentary dinner as an apology.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very airy in lobby area pools good
Cons: Pillows to hard, and some staff in coffee shop spoke no English and didn’t understand order
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The infinity pool is excellent
Cons: If Guests request Ice to the room, this is not provided, people has to bring it by themselves.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and modern. Breakfast was good but they don’t change the food same all week. Good gym and spa centre.
Cons: The road in front is used as a racing track for people who think they are F1 drivers or motorcycle riders. It’s so noisy! You can not sleep with balcony doors open which is a shame as view is nice. Staff can be rude. One manager yelled to put shirt on, shoes on and dry myself (I was dry but had my shorts on) after leaving pool area into reception to my room. Double standards by some staff. Cigarette ash each morning on our balcony from guests above. Told staff at reception after 2 days. Didn’t seem to care.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nothing to complain about. The buffet breakfast was great. All facilities, especially the spa and the pool were fantastic.
7.1 Good
Pros: Pools were lovely. Spa/gym area also lovely. Good on site dining options too.
Cons: Hotel room doors slammed if left to close. If the wind comes from the the South East there is a nasty landfill smell (this only happened on 1 out of 4 days).
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice location, bed was comfortable
Cons: Waited an hour for room to be cleaned (checked in an hour late), room wasnt cleaned properly even after that wait, aircondition barely made the room cold, one mug given in the room for tea/coffee when we were 2 guests, overall not clean hallway or room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I stayed over for one night as I had toa ttend a wedding in the vacinity, so my judgement is based on one night. The bed is super comfortable with different pillows both hard and soft. The personnel at the hotel is very freindly, and the room (345) is of a nice size. I kknow the island very well being a local, so I knew it would be a quite area, if you are a foeriegner I suggest you get a hired vehicle.
Cons: Kindly change those coffee machines, it tastes horried, a bad coffee really isnt a good start for the day and also the pineapple jiuce....there are good brands which are affordable, those two items really need to be looked at.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Check in was smooth and lovely! The front desk was very helpful. They had a packet of information waiting and ready to go for us. Our room had an AMAZING view. They provided robes and slippers in the room upon arrival. The room had a great layout and the style was simple and clean yet up to date and on trend. Breakfast was PHENOMENAL! Many options and everything was delicious. The balcony eating area was BEAUTIFUL and the staff was very helpful. They had a few restaurant options on site and a little cafe that stayed open later as well. The outdoor infinity pool area was gorgeous and clean. It had a lovely view of the ocean. The water was a great temperature. The ambiance and view were lovely to see right at sunset! We really enjoyed our 2 night stay! This was our first hotel in Malta and it made a great impression!
Cons: Parking was a little difficult, but we managed. We could only get one towel at the pool in exchange for a provided card. The towel guy left early with our card so we couldn't exchange back. Wish the pool towels were a bit bigger and nicer since they were only providing one. But other than that no complaints! This hotel was really very nice!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Its well located, the breakfast, the room has good space, and the owners are very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place, really good food!
5.8 Okay
Cons: Smell from sewage in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely, everything I needed
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was great, really close to bus stations and shops. The room was nice and it was cleaned daily. The food was also pretty good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The air conditioning is very efficient and it's nice to have a fridge. It only takes five minutes, or so, to walk to the seafront and there are three different roads to choose from to reach it. The staff are nice and friendly and coped well with one of us having a lactose intolerance. Using buses to get around is easy.
Cons: A chest of drawers in the room would have been useful! Without one we hardly unpacked - it reminded me of when I worked away and didn't unpack at all, staying one night at a time and then moving on to the next hotel. It's nothing to do with Buccaneers but we didn't think much of the hop on and off bus run by city tours. If you get off you might have to allow well over an hour before the next one, so there's not time to see many locations.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Croissant was good. Good location
Cons: Breakfast was only a coffee and croissant
7.9 Good
Pros: Very good localization close to square, shops, many restaurants and bus-stops. Nice and kind owners and other staff.
Cons: The world clean has different meaning then in Europe (DE, NL, PL), genrealy is clean but there is something to improve. Water problem, but I think it does'nt depends on owners, probably insufficient water installation in Buggba.
7.5 Good
Pros: The Guest House location is really good. One way close to main square with bars and restaurants, other way to jetty from where you can go to e.g. Blue Lagoon. The Guest House itself offers you as well a restaurant if you would like to stay for an evening meal closer to your room. A bus stop is just around the corner (one way stop!). A bus terminal is in reasonable walking distance. From the terminal you are able to reach basically every destination on the Island, sometimes with change in e.g. Valletta. We had breakfast included in the stay. It was decent. There could be an alternative to toasted bread on breakfast. In case you are not a fan of toasts, you might be unsatisfied. Our room experience I can summarize as moderate. On one hand it was in a rather good shape with additional, non-standard appliances. On other hand it was quite small, especially the bathroom and if you don't like opened windows (flies!) or are sensitive to permanent air-conditioning, then you are in trouble due to high humidity and temperature (no ventilation!). Summarizing, the place is worth considering for stay on Malta.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It's fairly clean.
Cons: Asked for cow milk for baby and she charged me an unreasonable price and asked to warm it up and she looked really unhappy about it. When I asked for coffee and sugar for the room, the reply was "they will top it up when they clean the room", I said I'll pay for it then she gave me some and told me the check out is at 10am. Very rude and I am sure she was racist as I can see a difference in customer service to me and other. Finding a parking is a mission, I've spent almost 45min looking.

Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: Reasonably good range of food to select from. Evening entertainment but of variable quality. Comfortable beds
Cons: Dining room was very busy and a bit like a staff canteen. Coffee, tea and juices all watered down too much.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great sea view, handy location.
Cons: The hotel was literally filled with senior citizens (65+) so we felt very out of place. We saw only 5 other people in their 30s the two days we were there. The atmosphere is different to a hotel with a more mixed demographic. The facilities and entertainment is clearly geared towards older travellers. We would not have booked it, had we known it is almost exclusively sold to older people.
7.5 Good
Pros: The only good thing about the hotel was its location, close to the coast. The indoor and outdoor pools were additional improvements. The rooms were regularly cleaned every day and the staff was also helpful. However these were the only positive aspects of our stay.
Cons: The breakfasts were a bit of misunderstanding. Clearly the hotel is focused on the British tourists (mainly english breakfast), but the food provided was of medium quality and taste. Judging from the 4-star reputation of this hotel one could expect higher quality of food. The only acceptable products were: cereals, milks, fried eggs and becon. I do not reccommend: scrambled eggs, sausages, juices and most of all the coffe, which was absolutely terrible. Therefore I am glad that I did not choose the all inclusive option (judging from the quality of the breakfast). I STRONGLY RECCOMMEND LOCAL RESTEURANTS FOR LUNCH AND SUPPER.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view from our balcony and the location was excellent. Se
Cons: The busy road outside which made it very noisy while sitting on the balcony. View
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness was good, breakfast was excellent choices, beds extremely comfortable.
Cons: All was acceptable.
4.6 Okay
Pros: breakfast, pool, sea front, natural pools, landscape.
Cons: first room was very bad, mold smell, mice smell, airflow ( room 158) First night was horrible, very bad smell. How is possible booking.com to promote this type of room for 4 stars? After long discussions the staff lady did not want to change the room. Only next day they change the room, at 8th level, room 869. Here the problem it is that all the night a continuous noise from some engines.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice pool, good cafe
Cons: No tea and coffee in the room
7.5 Good
Pros: No teas and coffee in room
Cons: Free sunbed foam
7.0 Good
Pros: Location convenient, parking - a nightmare. Staff, especially the Maltese, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, standard for a hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet.
Cons: Just a suggestion - It is a bit ironic to have a kettle and 2 mugs, but no coffee/tea bags available, and complementary bottle of water would have been nice. We were accompanied by a child, and rightly so, paid the extra charge on the room, but the room was set up only for 2 pax. An extra towel at least would have been appreciated. Also, the charge on sunbed cushions could be waived for hotel guests, or a bathing towel offered, with such a lovely pool. Small things in reality, but they make a difference. Otherwise, a nice stay overall.

6.0 Good
Pros: Staff and room.
Cons: Sunbeds on roof top broken and no cushions on them. They are the hard plastic ones. Alot of yongsters in the streets hanging around drinking which was very intimidating. Area seemed a bit rough
7.5 Good
Pros: the roof top pool is fantastic
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooftop pool a brilliant facility. Clean with room tidied every day.
Cons: Only 1 pillow on bed, had to ask for extra.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, helpful, clean and on sea front.
Cons: Room was fairly small and bar shut at 10.00pm!
6.7 Good
Pros: It was exceptionally clean.
Cons: Most of the reception staff were friendly but I wasnt overly impressed with the lady who greeted us on recpetion, but the other hotel staff were very friendly
6.3 Good
Pros: Location was pretty central. It was an average accommodation for the area. Night Russian receptionist exceptionally friendly and helpful to us
Cons: Tired and slightly tatty accommodation decorative and carpet wise in main hallways with a badly scored and worn out bath with rusty pipework which totally let the room down in this area where you would like cleanliness This was the same for two rooms next to each other. Yes it did have a double bed but one mattress was very uncomfortable with springs felt in the mattress. Balcony was never swept the entire 4 days so had sand and dirt on it from day 1.

Pros: The owners are wonderful people. Thank you to mother and daughter
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Near Bus Station and stops, City Centre, Restaurants, Beach, and Sightseeing Bus Route.
Cons: No elevator (lift).
5.4 Okay
Pros: Clean room.
Cons: Room was too small compared to photos, but for a 1 night stay its comfortable. Breakfast is poor.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Eve at reception was friendly, after an earlier miscommunication with airport transportation she did go out of her way to try and make up for it which was nice. The hotel itself is "off the beaten path" a bit, however we enjoyed the 5 minute walk into town.
Cons: As it's an older building, there is no elevator, luckily we only had carry-on luggage with us to carry up 3 flights of stairs. The room is simple, it has the bare necessities & ammenities, unfortunately no safe in the room & I could see clear as day through the lock on the door which was a bit of a worry for security.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great Location, Value For money, free high speed wifi, close to kiosks, supermarket and night life.
Cons: the room was too small, no minibar, the bed broke while I was sleeping during the night.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the staff best ..they were very friendly and helpful. I liked Malta ..the sea. It was a great holiday.
Cons: the garbage ..they put things in plastic sacks and put them in front of houses ..herrible .. no containers ..no bins for rubbish. Inside it is ok but outside ... disgusting Not to speak of separating :-(
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice staff, good location.
Cons: İt was not hygienic. Very large and dark spots on the matras, there were hair (multiple) on the sheats, even sand. Awful odour out of the bathroom and bugs because of the smell. The matras was old and very noisy. Outdated furniture and the wallpaper was falling of. Furthermore dust was coming out of the airco. And very noisy the window doesnt close good. If they renovate this room and fix the insect problem in the bathroom then it will be a nice room. Bad luck for me I think!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property was very close to the beach, roughly a 10-15 minute walk. Free breakfast is served every morning till 10:30am including cereal, bread, pastries, cheese, cakes, juice, coffee, tea and plenty more options. There are plenty of places to eat near the property from Tai, Turkish, Italian, English cuisines all within a walking distant of 10 minutes. For those who eat halal food there is plenty of halal places to eat near the property within a walking distant!!! And a halal supermarket two minutes from the property. Staff all spoke fluent English, and very friendly! The owner of the property actually drove myself and two friends to the airport when our driver didn’t arrive. Travelling to Mdina, or Valetta amongst other places is extremely easy. The bus station is about a 15 minute walk from the property. Staff were also very helpful in giving advice on what bus to take to your chosen destination. The property was clean and you really are getting the best for the price you are paying.
Cons: The beds are not very comfortable for a long stay, so I would recommend booking only if you are staying for a few days. The property doesn’t have a lift, so carrying luggage’s up the stairs or if with young children could be difficult. The shower screens in the shower were terrible! This left the bathroom floor very wet after each person had a shower.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We did not eat breakfast as we prefer to make an early start and eat later. The location was perfect for access to sea swimming and to public transport to other sights.
Cons: This is nothing to do with the guest house but the streets and the sea were not clean. I think that there is a "cleaner Malta" campaign underway and I hope this works. Malta is a great location in every other way
7.5 Good
Pros: The friendliness of the staff
Cons: No window to the outside / Bathroom mirror light was not working/ TV was a small damaged monitor with a red line through it and had no sound at times /Light over bed on one side did/t work. Spa was too exposed to the buiding and persons in the balconies who were partying adjacent to the spa a cane divider would have been far better for comfort.

Overview Reviews
When you stay at Porto del Sol in St. Paul's Bay, you'll be by the sea, within a 10-minute drive of Mellieha Bay and Golden Sands Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I must commend the property caretakers. The beds were very comfortable, The Location was the best. You get buses to everywhere in Malta swiftly. The Apartment was satisfactorily clean. Everything works well. The Lady at the reception/restaurant was very understanding. There are loads of restaurants and a well packed convenience store just along the road. You must try the BeachHaven Restaurant and Star of India also - just fabulous dishes and fantastic prices. I would recommend you pay the 7,00euros for the AC. Would help restrict the noise from the road which ain’t that bad considering it is inevitable to have such a balcony scene without suffering the traffic noise. I definitely recommend. The night walks around the bay was one of my highlights.
Cons: The Internet was pretty shitty. Please try to do something about it
8.3 Excellent
Pros: +location & bus stop in front of the property + spacious apartment +cleaning services every three days +shop mext to property +Good connections everywhere +beautifú view +small rocky beach near the property +staff nice
Cons: -old stove -gross pans, but pots okey-ish -flushing system- toilet-bad -no soap/shampoo -no breakfast available -wifi not working all the time -no lightening in the corriddor or around lift-dangerous as dark everywhere -very noisy as main road down the balconies
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms large, bright and view from balcony was wonderful. Restaurant downstairs was excellent
Cons: No air conditioning made it uncomfortable in high temperatures of up to 34 degrees. Shower was in a sunken bath - awkward and dangerous to get in and out . No mounting bracket for shower head. Rooms need updating to resolve the problems. Lack of fulltime reception facility made it difficult to get information and advice. Personal touch through staff availability is needed for a good visitor experience
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location - public transport is within easy reach. View from the balcony - fantastic! Very helpful staff.
Cons: Kitchen area small and unwieldy. Toilet problems with water supply :D
8.3 Excellent
Pros: location was fantastic brilliant views good for parking local shop
Cons: no air con no pool
7.5 Good
Pros: I liked the view from the balcony to the sea. I really enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere at the restaurant.
Cons: Because the hotel is located on the street, all night passed cars and very noisy, even with closed windows. I also did not like the fact that the towels were changed once in a week.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The furniture and decor were tired, I got a bad back from the bed in the main bedroom
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location is easily accessible to all attractions on the islands due to a variety of buses reaching the location. Additionally public transportation is directly connected to and from the airport. A convenient store is available by the studio from 07:00 to 24:00, 7 days a week.
Cons: The location is extremely noisy due to the main road passing by the window at first floor. No hot water available and the water pressure was very very low. The personnel is available only if the restaurant is open, in case of Emergency after hours there is no help. The air conditioning is available only in some of the rooms and paid separately. The light on night table is not connected due to not available socket. The room is probably designed for two separate beds only and not for a couple.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: + view from the balcony, once you were used to the traffic from the busy road outside! Most of the island's the same though, so if you want a sea-view and to be close to the water, expect some traffic noise. + beds were comfy + apartment had everything we needed and was all clean. Toilet roll, hand wash, washing up liquid, cloth, tea towel, shower towels all provided. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, pans, wine/beer-opener and utensils if you wanted to cook. + staff were very helpful - we didn't have a coffee maker in our apartment so they provided one for us + restaurant attached to the guesthouse was great! Would highly recommend the Beef Olive - tasted like a Shepherd's Pie and was seriously good + plenty of parking nearby + great location + a few decent eateries within walking distance. The Chinese at the very top of the road was excellent - we weren't too keen on going for a Chinese in Malta, after all we wanted to eat Maltese food, but if you want something a bit different, would recommend. The bar/restaurant at the bottom of the hill on the corner was very cheap and had good food. The restaurant at the top of the hill attached to the lido did an excellent seafood platter with stunning sea-views. The chips from the Belgian Fry were really yummy! + a shop 2 minutes away (walking) + plenty of sun-bathing/swimming spots within a 10 minute walk including one right across the road. Quick drive to "proper" (sandy) beaches + bus stop literally outside the place, but would recommend renting a car/scooter - the buses were generally over-crowded, late and are known to break-down/not turn up!
Cons: - very noisy from the road outside. Unfortunately, the doors/windows were single-glazed (I think) so didn't block out much of the noise - bring earplugs for sleeping!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing! located just opposite the bus stop, so great for public transport 7 only a half an hour walk from Bugibbaa where you can catch a ferry/ Boat to Gozo & Comino. Worth paying the 7 euro a day surcharge for aircon in the heat of summer.
Cons: The Beds were not very comfortable & made a lot of noise when you roll about.

7.9 Good
Cons: English breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was really big and very clean, huge breakfast with a lot of different choices
6.7 Good
Pros: There was a post box in the hotel. Two pools.
Cons: The warm breakfast was overcooked, selection of food was only very few items and very low quality food. Toilet brush in the room remained disgusting during the whole stay, it was dirty already when we arrived. Jacuzzi was broken.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extra helpful. Our studio room was large with a kitchen and balcony. Bed was comfortable and bathroom had a bath. Restaurants close by. Pool was awesome and had a bar and restaurant attached. Great for our 3 day stay.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful and food was lovely The chef cooks to perfection
Cons: Cleaners not very good or friendly they ignored you Also I think all rooms should come with remote for tv, fridge instead of hiring them
6.3 Good
Pros: 24 h reception means we ciuld check in at midnight from the last flight, spacey room.
Cons: Messy structure, not very nice corridors, dated hotel, rubbery scrambled egg.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location was good, had nice restaurants around
Cons: Up to date indoor pool facilities, like the hot tub working, but that's being very picky
7.1 Good
Pros: well stocked shop within hotel. double bed in our apt. it was a clean hotel.
Cons: The smell our bathroom - we didn't bother making an issue as it was clearly a drainage issue. The lack of explanation on check-in around towel replacement, our options on cleaning etc..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean hotel very friendly staff and the buses are just outside the hotel so you can go and see the rest of the island very easy.
Cons: Nothing to do in the evening. And busses stop about 10pm
7.9 Good
Pros: The room was on the top (sixth) floor and had a large terrace and an okay view. Other rooms don't have big balconies, only the ones on the top floor do, which we received randomly. The staff were very kind.
Cons: The hotel doesn't have enough parking space. Occasionally we had almost nowhere to park. Room cleaning didn't provide us with toilet paper for almost half of the week! We had to use our paper towels... There was also this loud humming for half of the night due to external AC unit or something. It was very noisy and difficult to sleep. I could hear the noise through my ear plugs! I guess the noise is only on the top floor due to the AC unit or something being on the roof.
7.4 Good
Pros: Our apartment had a fantastic view and two lovely balconies. The pool was huge. Joanna and Henry were lovely receptionists. Lovely bathroom in our room. Cleaning ladies very nice and efficient.
Cons: One of the two lifts wasn't working most of the time. The WiFi area in the lobby was very hot in July and required fans.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s modest but worth the price. The staff is very nice and helpful.
Cons: The interiors look slightly dated and the wc was a bit dirty. Bedding was slightly lumpy. But overall it was fine considering that the price is quite low and the people at reception are very nice
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. Not too close to the night life but close enough to be within a few minutes walk from the beaches.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly it is 5 min walk from St. Pauls bay.
Cons: Poorly maintained. No towels available. The celling in he bathroom had pieces falling. The bath tub was leaking, there was mold in the bathroom, the fridge was not clean. I had a window to... an internal corridor. Kitchenette in bad condition, rotten wood. I have been in bad places but I payed way less. Overall lack of maintenance and proper finishings.
1.0 Poor
Cons: So unsatisfied and disgusted by the customer service. Some of the power outlets did not work. The wifi did not work. There were some bugs crawling in the place. And after we told the manager at the desk of these problems (also requesting a discount, because I would not have booked the place had I known of these conditions), he came up to our room to yell at us and cursed us out in Maltese and English. Unacceptable.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location close to the sea with Sunny South facing balcony. Self catering is facilitated by nearby supermarkets, Many restaurants available when one does not wish to cook for oneself. For those with transport, Lidl is about 15 minutes drive. Post Cards can be purchased and posted at a nearby shop next to the sea front, stamps are available from the Post Office within easy walking distance. Circa 50 metres up the road from 'the complex' is a motor museum; don't be deceived by the small entrance the car display is extensive - - - - this must have been the birthplace of Doctor Who's TARDIS.
Cons: 1) The only outside windows are a single door to the balcony and a bathroom window to a smelly vertical plumbing service duct. 2) Broken floor tiles. 3) Fridge with door that mysteriously opened (when we were not present) and defrosted allowing water to spread on the floor. We soaked several towels mopping up. The bottom hinge appeared to be attached to a patch of rust 4) Spare bed taking up space in the kitchen. 5) Lack of digital TV signal to go with the modern TV set - - - - - only grainy analogue signals available. Even Bloomberg was analogue! To be fair: the beds were clean and comfortable, the room was free from external noise. When the premises has had its next refurbishment it will then fully deserve its 3-Star rating.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Honestly the only positive about this place was the location as it was 4 mins away from bus station and 10 mins away from the sea side
Cons: Where to start... first of all the staff was rude, barely speaking English it was hard to communicate. Room service was ridiculous, dishes weren’t washed, towels missing, floor wasn’t swept once while we stayed there ! Secondly the state of the toilet was horrible! There was mould on the shower curtain, everything was just dirty, the door was broken so when you locked the door you couldn’t unlock it. It took my friend half an hour to get out of the bathroom! There was also no communication between the nightshift and the dayshift staff, I asked for more room service on the last day because we wanted to sleep in, but the maids came to the room at 9 o’clock waking us up. Thirdly the ‘pool’ that is stated in the ad is more of a big bathtub on the 6th floor with dirty sun beds around. Lastly they were little things that were just weird for us, as I travel a lot I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and things like salt and pepper when there room HAS a kitchen are a normal thing, well not in this hotel, when we went to reception to ask about salt and pepper the staff looked at us as if we were aliens and then after explaining again they have us some salt and pepper but said we have to return them ASAP as it’s from the restaurant tables. The hotel also copied your passports which is completely agains the law.... we had a great time in Malta but the hotel was a disaster, still made the best of it..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: very helpful and nice staff
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location and that is it.
Cons: I stopped for one night. I wouldn't let my dog stop there longer than that. The toilet leaked for the whole 24 hours forcing me to make a towel path in the bathroom. The fridge and kitchen couldn't be used to prepare dog food. Honestly I called it nelson Mandela place. Those who know, know. Best thing about this hotel is its location. Do yourself a favour and book one of the lovely hotels in the area.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Building is old with patchy reno's. Though old, it's clean. Night staff not very knowledgeable, will refer you to daystaff for questions like how to use tv. Bathroom doesn't keep up with the usual standard. Our room overlooking ocean was a plus. Unruly drunk guests throwing water bottle from rooftop. For the money, you get what you pay for.
Cons: See above comments.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location , near bars and restuarants, but not noisy , beach 10 min walk , bus station 5 min walk , friendly staff and nice breakfast .
Cons: bathroom could do with general update , just simple things like replacing silicon seal around bath and sink , which had signs of mould.

Pros: In my opinion Ambassador Hotel it is a very good choice to stay in Malta. I've been looking long enough for good place to stay in Malta and it is seems I found it. Very quiet place. Rooms with very nice sea wiew balcony , also with pool outside, friendly and very professional staff, and very good breakfast. Very clean rooms with all necessary equipment inside. Very good internet access in the rooms. Very good. And very nice country..:)...
Cons: Everything was O.K.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The breakfast and view
Cons: Location was a little to far to shops and things. There were no fridge in the room you had to rent a fridge for €4 a day I have not come across that before if your there for 2weeks it’s a cost that you should not have to pay
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Pool.
Cons: We want sea view.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was nice and the staff was friendly.
Cons: The beds were really uncomfortable and one was broken when we arrived. The quality of the breakfast was very poor and it lacked variety. The tv, when turned on, wasn't really visible from the beds due to bad placement. There was no shampoo or shower gel.
7.5 Good
Pros: I think the rooms need a little fridge for the beverages Everything else is fine
Cons: I think the rooms need a little fridge for the beverages Everything else is fine
7.5 Good
Cons: Quite basic equipment but very clean. The pool is decent. Marvelous sea view but a bit far from restaurants, shops and bars.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very good location, close to swimming place and bus stops
Cons: Unclean rooms, smelly toilet, no toiletries. We haven’t used conditioning system but still had to suffer the noise it caused because neighbours’ conditioning system was placed in OUR balcon and couldn’t sleep well during our stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was nice, there was a really nice view of st paul's bay and you also have access to two bus stops, which was really convenient.
Cons: There was a smell in the room and sometimes it was noisy, especially early in the mornings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We appreciate hotel staff like Sandra and others who were always friendly and helpful. Hotel manager Joseph answered all our questions and solved all the issues quickly. Thank you, we had a lovely stay.
Cons: We would recommend the restaurant manager to decorate the breakfast restaurant a little, to create cosier atmosphere (flowers on tables, pictures on the walls etc.).
6.3 Good
Pros: Friendly stuff Good view Nice swimming pool
Cons: Uncomfortable beds Sheets weren't changed for 3 days until they were thrown down on the floor

4.2 Okay
Pros: The entrance was lovely
Cons: The mattress was only covered by a flimsy sheet. The room smelled of damp. The shower curtain had the dark damp marks along the bottom. The noise from the air conditioning bumped throughout the night
7.9 Good
Pros: Aur con was good and quiet enough to sleep bed was good
Cons: Shower was very weak
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beds were very good room really good very good stay
Cons: Overall my stay was very enjoyable would go again
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: I liked only the location, near to the sea and Bugibba’s main bus station.
Cons: Shitty food, poor quality ingredients, we even found rotten tomatoes. Poor choice of meals, especially for breakfast. No fruit and same food proposed every day, probably recicled from the day before (we noticed vegetables soaked in water and gammon was old and badly tasting). Even though we paid at the check in for a half board service, we had to have dinner in other restaurants in Bugibba. My girlfriend felt really sick because of their food and we complained to both reception and restaurant manager. Their answer was that she should get a visit with the hotel’s doctor by paying 30 to 50€ or to go to the public hospital in Mosta (40 minutes away by bus). One receptionist Edgar was very friendly, helpful and nice but the rest of the staff was unfriendly and unpolite. The room service woman bursted in our room when we were still sleeping. Towels and sheets were stained and with hairs. Wi-Fi and air conditioning not always working in the room. No ashtrays provided for smokers and hundreds of cogarettes were thrown on a roof below our balcony. No double bed but two twin beds with matress on a wooden table. Even though they were colse to each other they went apart if we moved too much and once I almost fell on the floor between the 2 beds. Outdoor swimming pool with salted and cold water. Pool area under the Sun only till 1 pm. Very old and small gym. The weight hanger is almost falling from the wall. Surely not a 4 star hotel!!
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast and dinner was good. Room had a nice balcony and air conditioner.
Cons: We had two twin beds pushed together instead of double bed. The shower was broken and toilet lid was also broken, we didn't have any extra mini shampoos or shower gels. The ventilation fan on top of bed was badly attached and moved from one side to another when turned on, why we were afraid that it could just drop on our heads at any moment. Rooms felt pretty old and bad maintained. Surely not a 4 star experience in my opinion, probably not even 3, but it was budget friendly at least.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD
Cons: I HAD NO INTERNET IN MY ROOM ON MY LAPTOP
7.1 Good
Pros: the bedroom and breakfast
Cons: The shower and pay the drinks at the dinner
7.9 Good
Pros: The lightning in the room was really good. The bed was comfortable
Cons: The air conditioner in the room was on and off. We would feel really hot at night and during the daytime because it stops working and only starts working as a fan which doesn't release cold air.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Not so clean and the whole Apartment smells. A little bit expensive for 70€ per night. Eventually the position of the hotel was ok, the Bus station was only few minutes walk
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Little bit food.
Cons: Poor condotion

Cons: Hotel was grubby, the toilet was moving when you sat on it, there was a damp smell. There was a rat trap at the swimming pool, The stair from level two to level one did not have a suitable opening to get through. This was also an emergency escape route.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: IT was nice to have two pools. Friendly personal. Close to all necesarry places in malta. Tasty food
Cons: Not enough equipment (missed teapot, that we were likely to pay for) , not good working aircondition (in autumn not such big deal)
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Bathroom, beds, breakfast...etc.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Room 508 was a prison cell with bars outside and a view of a wall. Ceiling and floor tiles discoloured. Decoration non existent. No facilities available. No kettle. Toiletries poor.
