Pros: Lovely staff, wonderful breakfast, and a great location
Cons: No AC in the room although the windows open and the staff brought us a fan. It wasn’t a problem for us but might be for others.

Pros: The service was incredible, the hotel was beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was a great variety and very tasty ! We had such a brilliant stay and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast v good
Cons: Considering for the price of my stay, I felt the bed room was just average, side of dressing table, ie paint work shabby and peeled, in bathroom, toiletries v limited, no shower cap, or body lotion. The room was cold when I arrived, when I brought this to the attention of staff this was corrected.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Located in the center of town. Beautiful, quality, luxurious decor, tastefully put together. Exquisite breakfast, a mini banquet with wholesome delicacies to tempt the palate. Comfortable beds and good quality linens & towels. Complementary tea, coffee & water in room. Voya beauty products appreciated.
Cons: Didn’t like the Rattan carpet, it was very uncomfortable under foot in the bedroom.

Pros: We loved our stay in Cork & wished we could have stayed longer. The Manor was beautiful, excellent customer service & we were even welcomed with a lovely Irish whiskey on arrival whilst checking in. The room was very nice & spacious.
Cons: We loved our stay but if we had to change one thing it would be the shower over the bath. A walk in shower would be much better.
10.0 Excellent

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm and very polite staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for New Year and I genuinely could not have made a better decision than for us to attend the gala. It was the loveliest even either of us has ever attended. We bought a floor length dress and a three piece suit and tie for the occasion and were not disappointed. We even had to send my dress last minute to the cleaners to be steam pressed and the staff got it back on time for us to attend the gala without rushing. After champagne and chatting at first, we all made our way to our assigned large round table. We sat with 4 other couples from all over the world. The dinner and dessert were lavish and the conversation was thrilling. The service was incredible. After we ate we followed our new friends to the lounge for swing jazz, dancing, a champagne toast and a wonderful send off to the new year. I truly had the time of my life. The next day we woke up exhausted and a bit hungover so we stayed in. A bubble bath in the beautiful clawfoot tub, a hot cup of peppermint tea, room service meals and a Law and Order marathon was just what the doctor ordered. We cannot say enough good things about Hayfield. Our sincerest thanks to Claire and the rest of the staff for making New Year 2020 the best of our lives so far.
Cons: Hayfield Manor provided perhaps the most exceptional experience in a hotel we have ever had.
6.0 Good
Pros: Facilities
Cons: The hotel is hard to find. Even the GPS struggled to get us there. Old world atmosphere, with some unusual and welcome additions; a bottle of whisky at the reception desk to parch the thirst and ease the frustration of locating the place. Another fun touch, a putter and play practice green in the room. It is a nice place but would I stay there again? probably not. It's the little things that matter in a hotel and the dinning reception left us cold. We made dinner reservations and showed up on time, appropriately dressed, only to be kept waiting while others streamed by, were welcomed, and seated. Eventually,We were placed in a back room at what must have been the worst table in the place, center stage, traffic area in a room surrounded by cozy booths. The Food and service excellent, but the second rate treatment left a bad taste. So we move on, to a better experience somewhere else.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were beautiful, clean, and spacious. We arrived early, got a room quickly, and even were upgraded to a suite just like that. The staff treated us like queens and kings, making us feel like part of their family. Everyone was cheerful and helpful during our stay, and the bartenders were eager to talk about local places to see and shop at. A highlight indeed for our Ireland trip.

If you are in this area of Ireland you will enjoy your stay at Blue Horizon B&B.

5.1 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: When I arrived, the owner claimed he did not receive the fax advising of my reservation for a double room. He first sent me to a twin room which had little space. After complaining, he moved me to a room with two twin beds and said he would push them together. He did not do that. Overall I was unimpressed with the accommodations.

Pros: Great large room with all facilities incl wifi. Great breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Great evening meal in restaurant. We are world travelers staying in 3-4 star chain hotels, we wish every hotel was this good! We never heard one plane take off! Stay here. We cancelled a city centre hotel in Cork on arrival because of traffic and limited parking. i.e. No parking! Stay at this hotel ! You will be pleased. Staff are very helpful too!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfy and well priced
Cons: Massage chairs in cinema not working Food in restaurant not too great
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Everything! I wonder why it's just 4 star? Clearly 5 star service.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Location and cleanliness, except for being a smoking room, of the hotel are very good.
Cons: We had to book online at the last minute. Booked 3 rooms for 3 adult family couples. When we got there we realized with the rooms given, no way to tell online, we could get away with 2 rooms as they were big rooms. We asked to change and weren't allowed because of the online booking. Also one day of the rooms assigned was a smoking room that smelled very strongly of cigarettes, again asked to change and weren't allowed to. Rooms were quite pricey as well, the most expensive night on our 2 week vacation was at this hotel. Had breakfast the next morning and one room came with breakfast, no idea why?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Words aren’t enough to describe the hotel. It was amazing and more ❤️ I booked it as a treat for my son and his family before they fly to their family holiday last minute. Wow that’s all I can say
Cons: Couldn’t fault it
9.7 Excellent
Cons: Great overall. Slow service in lobby area for the lobby menu was only complaint.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food and hotel and staff amazing , room was a little bit dirty and tv was disconnected other than that place was amazing
Cons: Rooms could have been cleaner and better set up
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was ok, but in need of maintenance as the carpet was badly stained .. Lots of free parking which is bonus and front of house staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely big bathroom ❤️
Cons: Food, overall, was not the standard of a four star hotel. Breakfast, arrived in my room lukewarm, with burned toast, a sliver of salmon and a tiny dash of hollandaise, on a muffin, despite my saying I did not want a muffin. The fruit cocktail was a chopped apple with a little tinned pineapple. Dinner that night wasn’t much better. A lot of different types of bread were delivered to the table..I don’t eat bread..The starter, prawns with gubbeen was just odd. Steak was fine but gravy seemed to been made from an instant packet. Service, although friendly, lacked any finesse and there was bad pop music playing in the background. Very disappointing overall I’m afraid.
7.0 Good
Pros: Dinner was very nice and the Staff were great in all areas, very helpful and nice.
Cons: The bacon was so salty that I ended up leaving my breakfast in the end which was disappointing.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, relaxed ambience of the hotel. Great staff and food
Cons: Nothing
9.4 Excellent
Pros: While the wait staff (excluding the bar staff) were rather helpful, the one working elevator was slow, the spa did not have any openings, and we received a 3am wake up call that we did not authorize. For a luxury hotel, they have some work to do.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The spa facilities and the food was great- very high quality
Cons: There was a very unpleasant smell in the hallway to the lifts, and there weren’t any products in the bathroom- only hand pump hand wash and shampoo. Other than that, the stay was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Kingsley was a great place to settle down In Cork. The staff were professional and took pride in their work. The rooms were nice and clean. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: I didn't mind this actually but the Kingsley is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. You could take a cab or walk it. The reason i didn't mind was because it was far enough away that you weren't surrounded by the noise.

Pros: Fantastic location with beautiful views.Lovely, friendly staff.Great hospitality and a lovely breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mary was the perfect hostess gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Mary and staff made the four of us a early breakfast to accommodate a early tee time at Old Head Golf Course, which is only 20 minutes from the sea side location that has great sea views from several rooms and all of the outside areas. If you are in this area of Ireland you will enjoy your stay at Blue Horizon B&B.
Cons: If you have mobility issues there is not a lift although Mary has several ground floor rooms which she would book for someone requesting one in advance.

7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast v good
Cons: Considering for the price of my stay, I felt the bed room was just average, side of dressing table, ie paint work shabby and peeled, in bathroom, toiletries v limited, no shower cap, or body lotion.
