Easy interaction, no annoying upselling at pickup
The staff was very friendly. Pick up and drop off was quick and painless. The car was very clean and odorless and was in excellent condition.
It was easy to pick up and return the car and it was clean and comfortable. I didn’t realize the Albuquerque location I selected wasn’t at the airport car rental hub. And I had to get an Uber to get there, a minor inconvenience.
Even though there is a Hertz agency at the Albequerque airport, your website offered me only a site several miles from the airport. I figured that there would be a shuttle. Instead, I had to pay for an Uber to get there. When I rented the car, they had only two vehicles available, a Prius and a pickup truck. I had reserved a small passenger car but would have been happy to take the Prius. However, the registration on the Prius was expiring at the end of the month. Even though I was returning the vehicle before the end of the month, Hertz's system would not approve rental of that vehicle, and I had to take the pickup. I spent about $100 extra on gas. I have a pickup but wouldn't use it for sightseeing. When I returned the pickup, the agency to which I was scheduled to return it was closed for the day. Why did the online booking system select an agency to which to return the vehicle that was closed that day? So, I had to park it in a parking lot on Saturday afternoon, and if anything happens to it by Monday morning, when they will inspect and intake the vehicle, I will be liable. I had to take an Uber back to the airport. The truck ran well but gulped gas, I paid extra to get to and from the rental agency, I had to drive a much more unweildy vehicle than I would have preferred, and I am still worried that someone will bump into that truck, and it will cost me more money. In the middle of last night, I got an email notice from my credit card company of a declined bogus credit card charge at Hertz and had to cancel my credit card. That is going to impact payment of the outstanding rental fee on that truck, and I am going to have to order a replacement card. This whole thing has been a huge mess. I'll certainly try not to use Hertz or Kyak again.

I received a call 1 hour before my flight that there was NOT a car available, this made for a very difficult trip , having to uber everywhere
