Had to cancel the rental, with a lot of hassle because the rental counter was not open late enough. Staff to change rental was not helpful. not able to contact the local desk directly, which was a pain!!! will not be renting with you again8.0 Very Good

the only major issue was that one of the tires of the car was severely underpressurized, and I noticed this several hours into my trip - had I not taken care of it myself, the trip could have been held up by a flat or even worse an accident could have occurred.8.0 Very Good

The ABQ airport only has one rep that covers 5 different companies. It would have been nice to know before hand that hertz was coving the dollar rentals.10.0 Wonderful

The car didn't break down during our rental period.Cons:
When picking car up at non-airport site, we were told that we could return the car either to the airport or the same non-airport site. We were NOT told that the price would be increased over $100 if we returned it to the airport. No check of condition of car at pick up.8.0 Very Good

Loretta, the lovely lady at the Budget counter who helped us was fantastic. She was patient with us when things got a little stressful and was always polite and shared a few laughs with us when we needed it most! Budget’s new payment policies. I feel as though they are quite discriminatory against lower to middle class people who don’t have a credit card limit as high others or the credit that’s needed to pay with a debit card even though we have the money. It’s really embarrassing when these things are pointed out in front of others even though we are working as hard as we can to get through life. Not everyone has certain luxuries that your company demands. We will probably think twice before renting with Budget again.7.2 Good

Never got the car. I showed up at the airport Hertz and they said that the reservation was made at some other Hertz offsite about 20 minutes from the airport. I had to pay for another car even though I was prepaid. It was not evident when I made the reservation that it was some offsite Hertz location. Waste of money. Will never use Kayak again9.6 Wonderful

Cons:
It turned out that my original booking was an off-site location which closed 5 hours before I was to arrive. It then cost well over $100 to switch to a pickup at the airport site. We got distracted on the return and failed to recover our GPS navigation unit. So far that has not been turned in by their employee. Airbag need service and the passenger bag even turned off on occasion.8.0 Very Good
