Overview of Korean Air

Depending on what amenities you would like to have access to while traveling, Korean Air has three classes that you can choose from, known as Economy, Prestige, and First. While Economy provides travelers with entertainment options and a standard seat, Prestige comes with perks such as a gourmet meal with drinks, a toiletry kit, and a wake-up service. If you opt for First, you will have access to an exclusive in-flight bar, a duvet, and a private suite that will allow you to lay on a comfortable bed.

If you would like to keep busy during your flight, consider downloading the beyond M app that was created by this airline in order to keep customers entertained while in the air. Through beyond M, you will be able to watch your choice of movies and television shows directly from your phone or laptop throughout the entire duration of your trip.

Korean Air is known for having codeshare agreements with many different international airlines, with some examples being Air France, Japan Airlines, and WestJet. Additionally, the company has voluntary interline agreements with two airlines, known as Flybe and JetBlue.

In Korean Air’s fleet, there are over 150 planes that come from five different companies. The most commonly used aircraft is the Boeing 777-300ER, as it can fit up to 227 passengers and is convenient for middle-range international flights. For long-haul flights, the airline often opts for the Airbus A380-800, a large plane that can fit over 400 passengers and is known for being both comfortable and spacious.
