Cons:Our itinerary changed months ago. We showed up at 4:00 am for our (new) 6:00 am flight expect that delta hadn’t alerted the Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport of the change so we had to go back to our original itinerary of flying out at 9:30 am. We were NOT happy to have gotten up at 3:00 in the morning with the kids to end up having to sit an extra 3 hours (5 hours total) in a tiny airport to fly out at the original time I had chosen.

Cons:We had frequent changes on our date flight, we also for paid 3 bags and on Aeroméxico’s site it appeared that we only paid for one of them, and lastly on the flight from Colombia to Mexico, one of our bags was opened without our supervision and there were several things stolen from it, the agent that we talked to about the inconvenience, her response was that the authorities could open and revise our bags without our supervision.

Pros:The seats were comfortable; however, I have always had great luck with the Aeromexico crew.
Cons:The boarding process was not well executed; I know this also involves the airport. They called the various groups to board and then we stood in the ramp, closely packed, for about 20 minutes before they started loading the plane. Also, for the flight, most every seat was filled. Given the concerns regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, the close placement of passengers was concerning.
