10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel just back from 3 night stay location right on main square hotel our Roman was beautiful and had hydro spa shower is was amazing. The hotel staff arranged all our transfers and our excursions and were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for you.
Cons: Nothing really just one morning they were doing some work in hotel which was a bit noisy but apart from that I couldn’t fault anything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have just retuned after spending three nights in this incredible hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The hotel is amazing with the best views of the square and everything you need on your door step. The hotel took care of our transport both from and to the airport which ran so smoothly. We stayed in the junior suite with views of the main square, I had read a few reviews regarding noise however I can 100% say we heard nothing despite the square being so alive and vibrant at night. The mini bar got stocked everyday which was included in our stay therefore no need to pay to use. The beds are beyond comfortable, so much so I'm missing them now I'm back home. The Jacuzzi in the room is wonderful and even they even have a built in radio. So many other wonderful touches to this hotel from the lovely chocolates left on the bed to the bottle of free prosecco and fruit. I am so happy we stayed here and once we try more cities we definetly feel we will return here and to krakow. What a beautiful place. Thank you.
Cons: Everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I didn’t actually arrive, friends stayed in my room instead but said it was amazing hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The room was immaculate and facilities were well beyond my expectations. The Rolls Royce driver who picked us up from the airport, made us feel comfortable and special. We arrived at Betmanowska Residence and were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco, which was a lovely gesture. There was also a bottle of champagne waiting in our apartment. The view was stunning and it created a magical atmosphere. We were in a very heart of Krakow. I could not have imagined better location. We enjoyed the amazing food in Pizzeria Virtuoso and Karczma Staropolska which were also a part of Betmanowaska Residence. The food was outstanding and the staff would go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A big thank you to Marcin who served us in karczma on our last day and to a male waiter who served us in pizzeria Virtuoso during my partner’s surprise birthday party. Thank you to receptionists who were so helpful and were trying to fulfil all our wishes, no matter how small there were. What a weekend we had! ❤️

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: location and staff promptness
Cons: breakfast needs more food options
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location, situated right between the Jewish Quarter and Old Town, but far enough off the main street to still be quiet. Tons of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are really nice, modern with comfortable beds. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of food. Overall, highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: No complaints. We were initially put into a room next to a very noisy baby, but the front desk had no problem moving us to another room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location and staff. Adam ran a great bar and really took care of us. The Courtyard was a very nice touch for morning coffee and evening drinks.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, as it is newly renovated it was very luxurious, bathroom floor even heated. Great Polish martini’s to enjoy in the hotel bar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel facilities, meals and bar are all excellent. Staff are very helpful. We were able to visit all of the major touring sites from here as well as walk around the area extensively. Could not be better
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent reception at desk service. Very good english skills for desk service people. I asked for extra coat hangers -got them within 15 minutes. Wake up calls were spot on time wise. WiFi is free. Good signal strength. Hotel is on a quiet dead end side street from a street with a trolley so it is quiet. Superb free breakfast comes with the room. Hotel dining room is a bit better than average. Had really great roasted duck on my wife's birthday. Hotel is built around an inner courtyard. Pleasant place to chat on lounge chairs and sip beer or iced tea. Little kid friendly. Heard lots of quiet toddler chatter. Lots of small shops within two blocks to buy beer, wine, pastries high end deli-like pastries and sandwiches. Easy 10-15 minute walk to center city Krakow. Easy to get a taxi at the hotel. Lots of cafe like small restaurants of different cuisines within four blocks.
Cons: Hotel locale is not super up scale. Lenin free hostel around the corner, sex shop a block away. My wife and I both in the low 70's had no issues walking around in day time. Lots of working class people, youngsters, moms with infants, elderly on the streets in the day. We did not go out at night although our 44 year old son and friends were out bar visiting until very late and felt quite safe. I think the location is the reason why the Metropolitan is such a good value. If the location were in city central Krakow district the room costs would be much higher. It is a really great hotel value in an acceptable but not particularly upscale area..We would stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel: huge rooms, comfortable bed, good lighting with numerous light sources. Very spacious bathroom, nice toiletries, and extremely soft water. Big wardrobe, there's everything necessary. Team kit in the room, water, minibar, and nice complements: candies and champagne. Good soundproofing in the room - didn't hear anything from the street. Hint: tap water is drinkable in Krakow, and at this hotel it's so soft it's sweet. Good location: 3 min walk to the tram station, 10 min walk to the Old Town, 5 min walk to Kazimierz, Biedronka supermarket across the street, many places to eat around. Elevators (we lived on the top floor). There is a patio, but since it was February, we didn't go there. Nice breakfasts with many options, lovely Polish cheeses selection, fruit, baked goods, etc. Extremely nice staff, welcoming and helpful.
Cons: The only drawback: air conditioning in the bathroom is quite noisy, and it turns off something like 10 minutes after you turn off the lights, so it might be a bad thing for light sleepers.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were all excellent Large comfy bed , dark curtains Happy hour Good buffet for breakfast
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The staff are excellent. Friendly and helpful at all times. It’s a lovely hotel.
Cons: Nothing.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The situation of the hotel means its very close to all the bars and restaurants , consequently there is continuous noise from the surrounding streets all night and until the bars close . People shouting and screaming on their way home
7.0 Good
Pros: Very nice, maybe a bit too modern and cold looking for some people’s liking but overall a good hotel in a great location.
Cons: We were in a room with a window looking out on the corridor, which was strange! The curtains were thick and they had some white thin curtains behind them if you wanted some light though, so it wasn’t too bad

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: It’s location was very good.
Cons: When we arrived a man was giving out in the hall that the hotel had double booked his room and they had no room for him so we knew we were off to a bad start. When we got our room we were facing the stairs/ hall, we heard everything and got very little sleep. Then we went in to drop our bags off only to find blood all over the blanket on the bed. We went down stairs explained to the staff and they gave us new sheets not a new blanket kept saying they didn’t understand. We booked a double bed and got two singles pushed together, for a couple on a break away it wasn’t good enough. The cleaning lady came in on top of us every morning at 8 o clock which was really annoying and never came back so we ended up using tissues instead of toilet paper in the end and reused wet towels. Room was cold and was nothing like the photos. Very disappointed.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed one night in March. We got in several hours before check in time. Not one restaurant in the area was open for breakfast so we decided to eat at the hotel. Breakfast was delicious I would recommend getting it with the room if possible. Since we were desperate to get some sleep we decided to upgrade to a superior room with did not cost very much and we go in right there and then. The room was a good size and very clean. In at the afternoon we got 3 cakes delivered and there was free water in the room. The area is wonderful, right next to a big shopping mall and the translation. Also, walking to anywhere in main Krakow from the hotel is a breeze.
Cons: The mattress was horrible ! I have never seen or slept on such a thing. Weird choice by the hotel to put that in the rooms. TV did not work but we also did not call to fix it.

Pros: We had a super king size room overlooking the river, it was exceptionally clean and was serviced daily. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, as were the bar & waiting staff. Food was superb, lots of choice for breakfast (although the baked beans were too runny and the hash browns were overcooked!). It was my partner’s birthday while we were there and the barman gave us a fruit vodka each. Great location, within an easy walk of most of the main attractions.
Cons: The attached sports bar was poor in comparison to the rest of the hotel.

6.3 Good
Pros: Good location, lovely room really clean, good style
Cons: No pool or Leisure facilities, for 4 days, hotel failed to inform us, we did get complementary breakfast and upgrade room but didn’t make up for no leisure facilities.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the interior.. Husband is an architect and I am a designer and really it was amazing. We could have spent the entire 3 days in the bath just marvelling at the marble walls. Loved the mini Nespresso machine. Loved the mini spa downstairs; we availed ourselves of a good steaming every day.. very welcome after being blasted by the sub-zero winds and sleet. We both had a massage on the second day. Great masseuse / great massage / good pressure. One of the best massages I've had actually. All staff were friendly and very helpful; all spoke excellent English. We also loved the location. Literally 10 seconds from the main square and 10 seconds in the other direction from some fabulous eateries.
Cons: Although the 'bones' of our bedroom were faultless (concrete ceiling / wood floors and furniture / floor to ceiling windows) it seemed a little dark and somehow lacking in homeliness. I think the lighting could be re-considered / maybe another layer added. The walls were massive and crying out for really big pieces of art (in a lighter colour?) and generally lighter rug / cushions. Sorry that's the architect & designer playing 'if we were in charge what would we do to make this better?' The Nespresso machine was great, but would have also liked a kettle and some teabags (and milk!) the axioms about the English and their tea are true!! Also about 6 times when we tried to use the lift it was occupied by staff moving furniture and laundry around. It wasn't a big deal for us as we were on the first floor.. but may have been a pain for those on the 6th.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, modern room. Choice of pillows. Free to use, quality hot drinks machine available all day. The app provided by the hotel was incredibly helpful with recommendations and online concierge service. Good quality toiletries. Smart room controlled by tablet. Free bottled water provided daily. Free 'taste of Poland' food tasters on Thursday nights.
Cons: Basic hair dryer only in the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The corner room is great. The room size is decent-to-big. The TV is the biggest we've had in a hotel room within Europe. The bathroom floor has the option to be heated and the bathroom liquid soap and shampoo are from Azzarro (sp?). They smelled so very good!!! The hotel provides a delicious, full breakfast with two free coffee/cocoa/cappuccino makers for guests and are available 24 hours a day. The bar is open 24 hours a day but the hotel's front-desk employees will need to clear their area to tend bar. The hotel is literally across the street from the Krakow Glowny (main train station). The wifi signal was good/strong as the signal never went away. All-in-all a great place to stay and I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Krakow. I'll stay at other Puro hotels in Poland, given the opportunity.
Cons: Only issue is with the lack of early check-in. It was bad timing that they had been sold out the day before our scheduled check-in date. We caught an early train and arrived at the hotel at 7am on our check-in date. Unfortunately, because check-in time is 3pm and the hotel had been fully booked the night before, there weren't any available rooms as check-out time is noon. We needed to shower before our 11:30am tour pick-up but our room wasn't ready until 12:45pm and we were already in our tour. The front desk lady tried to help but it was out of her control.

3.1 Mediocre
Pros: The location was good
Cons: Very small rooms and not at all like the photos on their or 3rd party websites. The rooms were not properly cleaned and 1 night I found a spider in my bed! Floors were not swept and felt very sandy. We left early although we had paid for a longer stay coz we just did not want to be there any more.
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Other than the unfortunate road work outside the place was very good and comfortable and in a perfect location.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: There was an awful lot of noise from the front of the hotel which went on for many hours we found out it was a crowd of young people on a walking tour visiting bars in the area
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, one street away from the main square, excellent value for money. We stayed in the junior suite which had a mezzanine level so there was plenty of space. Jacuzzi bath was great. Staff were really friendly and ordered us a taxi to the airport.
Cons: Bathroom didn't have a stand up shower, which wasn't an issue because of the bath but it may not always be convenient for some.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the city center, so getting around for sightseeing was all done by foot or the occasional tram. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had a very spacious low level room with two beds. Overall, very satisfied!
Cons: Stayed on the 1st floor and for 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend, which also happened to be the same weekend as Advent (Catholic start of Christmas season). The halls were a bit loud, but mainly from the noise of people walking up and down. There were a couple of parties at the hotel but they all finished at a reasonable time.

1.0 Poor
Cons: During our stay someone from hotel workers came into our room. This is unacceptable . Only apology we received was from the receptionist who straight knew about this incident. No one will mention anything to us if we wont spot that matter. No one even bothered to replay to our complain.
10.0 Excellent

The brine Bath is a must and the fact the hotel is in the gardens of the salt Mine is a plus. The area and hotel is so quiet, we had a very relaxing stay. 6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good with loads of choices. Beds are comfortable and original interesting design of the decor and the hotel itself. Supermarket near the hotel is very handy
Cons: Rubbish found in the room in the bin from previous guests. We were offered a different room for free though. Hair in the cupboard and bathroom. Bathroom floor has water stains all over the shower area and it looks uninviting. Shower holder is lose, light fittings are loose. Strange smell in all rooms. You can’t open any windows to let some fresh air in.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was close to the salt mines
Cons: No facilities and nothing within walking distance . Having The grocery store attached was a good thing as we were able to buy food and drink.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, clean and large room, comfortable bed, next to a supermarket
7.1 Good
Pros: clean, modern
Cons: interior design sauna didn’t work no windows to open
4.2 Okay
Cons: Unfortunatelly: 1) there were trash on the floor in the room: nutella paper behind sofa, beer cork in the shelf of one sofa, coffee cream package paper in the shelf of the other sofa, gummy bear behind curtains, some plastic under the bed- was the room/floor cleaned at all? 2) broken hanger hooks in the bathroom 3) broken door lock in the bathroom 4) broken night lamp above the bed And finally, one should know, that the windows are sealed in this hotel. You can not ventilate the room after other people/cleaning or sleep in fresh air. They say, that they use air recuperation system, but the air in the rooms differs a lot from corridor air. Corridors are recuperated by open doors to outside. Of course, the rooms look modern- but trash/uncleaned floor, broken things, sealed windows... are not so modern for 4 stars.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really nice room. Spacious and creatively decorated. Very comfortable bed and comfortable chairs in t sitting room. Good breakfast selection and coffee.
Cons: No English tv channel. No separate shower. Shower was in the tub which is in the bedroom.
7.1 Good
Pros: Comfortable room and bed
Cons: Restaurant stopping serving at 22.00 to people part way through their meals. Well-being facilities not operating but still advertised. Weird decor! No tissues in room

Pros: Good breakfast, big green territory, separate entrance, clean and fresh rooms
6.7 Good
Pros: Acceptable place to stay during business trip

7.0 Good
Pros: Clean and comfortable room, nice new hotel, large parking area, great breakfast
Cons: We couldn`t get our dinner after 1000km trip, even couldn`t get some soup or hot tea, because restaurant was closed for the privat party. At the reception we were assured that we could order food to our room, but in fact - it was forbidden. And no other restaurants within walking distance near the hotel.
