|Top route||Málaga to Oslo Sandefjord|
|Top airport||Gothenburg Landvetter|
Pros: Norwegian Air always seems to go above and beyond. It will be my first choice in airlines every time.
Cons: Teleportation? A shower and a shave? Aside from the impossible... Everything was top notch for me.
Pros: Great crew and a nice seat!
Pros: Amazing crew and a very comfortable seat!
Pros: Punctual and friendly staff even under stressful circumstances.
Cons: Access to wi-fi
Cons: Better higiene with the coronavirus situation. Like not grabbing the water bottles on top and offering no glass
Pros: The flight was mostly empty so a very quick boarding process.
Cons: I was happy with everything I experienced.
Pros: never flown the airline but no friendlier
Cons: Maybe if they can help with smiling to people will be better
Pros: Boarding was quick once the bus arrived at the aircraft, flying on JetTime (leased aircraft) meant the seats were comfortable and the smaller 737-700 meant that there was less people on-board. Certainly enjoyable.
Cons: Flying on a JetTime leased aircraft and not Norwegian means you miss out on in-flight TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: Crew is always super nice and efficient.
Cons: Boarding priorities suck. Feels like another way to squeeze another dollar out of the customer. Some company has to stand up and say we Baird from front to back or back to front. But I could be in the minority. Maybe others enjoy paying more to get on first.
Pros: Confortable airplane
Cons: Better entertainment options
Cons: It was too cold on the plane
Cons: Everything, flight was delayed, cabin super warm and seating was all messed up.....
Cons: The boarding bus opened its doors before we were allowed to enter the plane, leaving us in the cold before re-boarding the bus. The line operating on behalf of Norwegian had a smaller plane with less space between seats
Pros: Easy boarding process
Pros: All was fine, especially for the price I paid.
Cons: It was a little crowded, but ok for a short 4-5 hour flight. No food is served, which is ok, for the price that I paid.
Pros: Nice staff, left on schedule, I did not get any food, it was not included, and there was no entertainments, like movies.
Cons: It is a little crowded, but ok for the price.
Pros: the seats are comfortable
Cons: I would like entertainment to be placed in the economy section. The flight is 8hrs. There isn't anything that has a battery that lasts 8 hrs.
Pros: The crews were good
Cons: They weight my carry on luggage from the connecting flight. The first flight was ok, but they decided to weight my carry on luggage at the gate for the connecting flight. So I got charge for extra 82 dollars. I wish they say something earlier!!
Pros: Crew was kind.
Cons: The food made me sick, and you have to buy it too.
Cons: The flight was delayed and it seems like it happens regularly. Our flight to Palma de Mallorca was also delayed.
Pros: Dont fly with them. They always screw you over
Pros: Very friendly and helpful
Cons: I witnesses myself and at least 12 other people pay addition baggage fees
Pros: Boarding and food
Cons: The flight was delayed more than an hour and no information was provided about landing at Fort Lauderdale Airport.
Cons: Lost one of my bags and delivered the others with glacial slowness, then reps were incredibly rude when I tried to report it missing. NEVER AGAIN!
Pros: Simple Flight
Cons: Small plane. not a lot of leg room
Pros: Simple Flight.
Cons: Small plane
Cons: the plane was delayed. no reason giving. when boarding, it was a white plane with no markings. inside it had Norwegian signs, but probably the plane was a substitute. Once in the air, the flight was fine.
Pros: Friendly crew serving my side.
Cons: We were unable to have choose seat option at booking and also check in and they split us up and weren’t able to put us together at the gate. A bit light on the perks for “premium”.
Pros: The long distance jet was very nice and would likely be the only reason I would fly with Norwegian again.
Cons: Drinks like soda included in cost. Baggage sizes and weights that match other international carriers, consist enforcement of weight restrictions or requirements. More people, less kiosks. Don’t make you have to pay to choose a seat. Everyone we talked to was complaining about the nickel diming!
Pros: Crew was ok. Seat was fairly comfortable.
Cons: There was no in flight service and nothing was offered. Smaller plane but our flight from London to Bergen was in a smaller plane and we were offered something to drink.
Cons: The crew very impressed and not give a good safety at the plane
Pros: Almost as bad as easyjet
Cons: Non standard smaller capacity carry-on. Meal and snack charges even cross Atlantic. Not worth the cost with Overcharges
Cons: Eemployees were extremely rude, the experience will make me reconsider using the airline as well as going to this particular airport in Spain. I was upset and disgusted with the service.
As expected from a budget airline.
Pros: More legroom than expected. Seats are thin though but comfortable enough for a 2 hour flight. WiFi has movies although the selection was pretty slim and they cost 5 euros! Also, the app seemed to have an issue that the titles of the movies didn’t appear anywhere so you had to guess what the movies were based on one screenshot.
Cons: They claimed they had WiFi but I would hardly call it that. It was very slow and kept disconnecting. Also, had to pay for movies and even regular drinks like orange juice. I know it’s budget airline but still bothers me especially since they charge 2-3 times regular price for the food.
Pros: For Copenhagen to JFK flight only: Excellent crew, satisfactory food service, very good drink service, great plane, comfortable seat in Premium comparable to old business class seats before lie flat became standard.
Cons: Extremely understaffed check-in desk in Lisbon with extremely long lines took over thirty minutes of waiting to reach the desk. No separate check-in lines for Premium, since they have no Premium service from there to Copenhagen. No Premium seating or services available from Lisbon to Copenhagen. No staff or facility at Copenhagen airport to print boarding pass for transfer passengers until gate agents finally arrived.
Newburgh to Edinburghflight home was much more
Pros: Flight home had an open middle seat
Cons: Flight over was too crowded
Pros: Everything but the food.
Cons: The hot meal was awful! Even the stewardess wasn't sure what some of it was!
A great low coster
Pros: Very intuitive self drop-off service, helpful and friendly staff
Cons: The flight got 30 min delayed, online check-in opens 24h prior to departure
Really bad for travelling with children
Pros: Nothing in particular. I guess crew was polite
Cons: THEY MADE ME CHECK MY STROLLER! I had to roam the airport with a baby in my arms while struggling to drag the baby's food and my carryon around! They didn't return the stroller for customs or anything. This was so insensitive. Additionally, nothing was showing on the screens, they could have at least kept the screensavers or flight path displayed.
delayed both ways
Pros: clean, modern plane
Cons: chaotic boarding, slow disembarking
Pros: It was a shot flight. Not much happening.
Cons: The flight was delayed.
Cons: They never let me board, and did not tell me why. Not money back. Terrible customer service
You get what you get
Pros: No one bothered me.
Cons: That you have to pay extra for entertainment and food.
Pros: Free WiFi in flight
Got the job done!
Pros: Fast boarding, on time arrival and friendly service; what more do you need!
Pros: Cheap and comfortable budget airline.
Cons: Delayed departure without any explanation
Pros: Stress free boarding and flight, it all went smoothly and the cabin crew were extremely helpful.
Pros: Very small airport so ease of check in was perfect.
Cons: No wifi or tv screens at all.
Pros: No fuss, polite, slightly more leg room than Ryanair, plane seemed less noisy.
Cons: Could do with slightly more legroom.
Quick smooth flight with free wifi!
Pros: Flight was quick and smooth and ontime. Friendly staff. Awesome that you get free wifi.
No meal offered although paid for.
Pros: I have liked Norwegian ever since I first flew with them. So my meal was something I ordered and looked forward too on a long 8.5 hour flight. I actually tell everyone that it is my favorite airline
Cons: Even though I paid the fifty pounds for extra bag and "nice and tasty" food they didn't bring it as they said it was not on my ticket. When I asked where my food was, long after everyone had been fed, they brought me what was left over. A spaghetti and chicken which was warm and not "tasty" and I do not normally eat chicken. It was the only thing left. For the breakfast snack they also forget me until I asked again. The the "nice and tasty" meal was very sad and disappointing. And when I have travelled with Norwegian before the meal and entertainment were excellent. Also when I arrived in Barcelona "transit" to Newark there was no one advising up where to go! They dropped us en mass at the immigration which was huge and packed with long, long lines. When I asked people in uniform where transit was they told me I had to go through immigration! An hour later when I went to the immigration booth, the officer took me directly upstairs to another security check and then I was told to wait in an area and my flight would be called. Nothing. And when I went to the flight they said my bags were unloaded! All the Norwegian offices and checkin were closed for the night. My phone would not work there and finally I found wifi and called Norwegian in London, They gave me numbers and company names to call. But there no one to be found or connected to. At seven o'clock the next morning when Norwegian opened I was able to be put on the next flight on Sunday, two days later. A terrible transit like I have never experienced before.
Get what you pay for
Pros: Good price
Cons: Food disappointing so will skip it next time. Poor service during flight. Food trays etc left too long.
No frills flight.
Pros: All went as expected. Efficient and timely.
Cons: Seat bottom cushions worn out
Pros: Free WiFi. Clean plane. Comfortable seats.
Cons: Slow to start boarding.
Delay handled poorly
Pros: For a budget airline Norwegian does a good job in most areas - courteous, professional staff, clean, well-maintained planes, good service.
Cons: My flight from Oslo to Gatwick was delayed due to technical problems with the plane. We sat on the tarmac and left two hours late, causing me to miss my connection to Boston. I understand that these things happen, and I appreciate the attention to safety; however, the real problems began when we arrived at Gatwick. We were told an agent would meet the five of us who missed the flight at the gate to assist us. No agent was there, and we wandered to different Norwegian sites for help. When we finally found the right person, it took a ridiculous amount of time to rebook us. Here's the first problem with a carrier like Norwegian: they don't have as many flights, and none were going directly to Boston the following day. I was finally booked on a 6:20 a.m. flight to Copenhagen the next day with a 10 hour layover until the flight to Boston. The next problem was an outsourced service to provide me with a hotel and food voucher for the night. This literally took hours for them to arrange. It was over 6 hours from arrival at Gatwick to ending up with a place to stay - and then a 4 a.m. wakeup to get to the airport. I would hesitate to book Norwegian again for these reasons. Also - come on, Norwegian, soft drinks, water, and coffee/tea should be free.
Pros: Flights on time.
Nice interior on the Aircraft.
Pros: The service was friendly and professional, and we had he smoothest landing and takeoffs I've ever had with any airline before.
Norwegian Air International Flight to London from Stokholm
Pros: Great flight and landing. Good leg room between seats.
Pros: Good crew and very smooth flight. Other than the inefficient boarding process which is more the airports fault, my experience with Norwegian was excellent.
The primary headquarters for Norwegian Air International is Dublin; however, hubs are also found in Barcelona, Copenhagen, London and Madrid, among other cities. Services are available to 40 countries across the world, with some destinations across Southeast Europe and Asia operating on a seasonal basis.
Operating as the low-cost subsidiary of Norwegian Air Shuttle, the airline prides itself as a budget-friendly travel option. Recognized as Europe’s Best Low-Cost Airline by the World Airline Awards in 2019 for a fifth consecutive year, customers love the reduced fares. It also received an Outstanding Contribution to Aviation Award from the Irish Aviation Industry in 2017.
Free Wi-Fi and live TV are available to passengers on most European flights, while personal entertainment systems are found on long-haul international flights. There are 3 fare options for most flights operated by Norwegian Air International: LowFare, LowFare+ and Flex. The differences come down to checked baggage and seat reservation, with Flex allowing up to 2 checked bags as well as 1 carry-on bag. On long-haul international flights meals are provided to LowFare+ and Flex passengers.
The fleet of Norwegian Air International is made up entirely of Boeing aircraft, with the 737-800 and 737 MAX the preferred series. The planes can hold between 186 and 189 passengers. Seats on the more popular 737-800 have approximately 29 to 31 in of space between the seat in front and widths of roughly 17.2 in. There is a single aisle down the middle of the aircraft, with 3 seats on either side. Extra legroom is available at both the middle and the front of the seating layout.
