It's barely a DoubleTree. Clean hotel, good location, excellent staff. Small rooms, slow and few elevators, linens and personal amenities below par.

Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location, with many noting its proximity to major attractions, public transportation, and convenient services. Some reviewers also mentioned comfortable beds and generally clean rooms. However, there were significant complaints about the elevators, which were often slow, crowded, or malfunctioning, causing frustration. Service received mixed feedback, with a few guests reporting negative experiences with staff and management, while others found the staff friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was generally acceptable, though a few reviews mentioned issues. Overall, the location is the hotel's standout feature, but elevator and service issues detract from the experience.AI-generated from customer reviews

The location is great. Staff were nice. Facilities were terrible. The wait for the elevator sometimes took as long as 15-20 minutes. The rooms are extremely small. The shower leaked water on the floor. Overall would not recommend
Elevators were extremely slow. Took 20 minutes just to get to my room. Rooms were small and not well maintained. Had several things broken or not working. Also the cleaning staff took my soap and didn’t refill, and also took my unopened Red Bull that I purchased and left on my desk. Overall this is an old hotel that’s not worthy of the 4 star rating. Definitely not DoubleTree caliber.
Pros (+) Location was decent
Cons (-) Elevators frequently never showed up, requiring walking down 19 flights each morning. Wifi cut out multiple times. No minibar/fridge for storing leftovers/drinks/snacks in room. Shower leaked water all over the bathroom and entryway floor. Would not stay here again.
Cons (-) Called all three days about the non working outlet in the bathroom. Was never fixed. Made it difficult to get ready.
Pros (+) Restaurant served excellent Italian food. Well lolcated. In FiDi...close to subways.
Cons (-) Only 3 elevators for a 44 story hotel. I stayed over Labor Day weekend and only 2 were working. They had no WiFi. Took 20 min to get to the lobby...or walk down 30 flights. This is an on going problem. FaceBook reviews complain about elevator. Problems for over 6 months.
Pros (+) Great location
Cons (-) Water was not working on two occasions. One of 3 elevators (in a 46 floor building) was not working causing 15-20 waits to go down/upstairs. Not a good thing when you are on the 26th floor.
Pros (+) I absolutely love everything about Hilton honors.
Cons (-) Room service.
Pros (+) Staff was friendly & attentative
Cons (-) This Hilton Doubletree is in dire need of renovation, and not up to the usual Hilton property standards. The elevators were extremely slow to arrive and frequently stopping at floors where there were no passengers. Often, one of the three elevators was not working, causing waits of over ten minutes. Also, the room was showing it's age, with the covering on the desk chair being worn and peeling, an...

Pros (+) The room was great!
Cons (-) The walls were thin and could hear everything happening on the floor. The elevators took forever as well.
