Pros: We were blown away by this hotel! They exceeded our expectations! We so wish we stayed longer and certainly will be back! From the moment you arrive, this hotel takes your breath away. The staff were super friendly (the friendliest I've encountered on my recent trips to various cities in Europe and beyond). They genuinely wanted to help, and you were made welcome immediately with a friendly smile. The room was beautifully appointed, with fantastic linens, furnishings and state of the art, super clean bathroom. Everything is new and spotlessly clean!!! The grounds (the restaurant, the pool area, the entrance, the lobby) are simply stunning (an interior design delight!). The place has such a relaxing vibe, the food is delicious and to be honest while you there, you do not want to go out! We stayed in the number of good hotels across the world, but this was our best stay yet! The hotel is family-friendly; the little ones have their own pool; the large pool will delight your teenage children while you are sipping a delicious glass of rose on the comfortable chairs next to the pool. Honestly, we will not want to stay anywhere else in Malaga! The towels were super large and fluffy, and the food in the beautiful restaurant delicious (at both lunch and dinner). I will give this hotel 6 ****** stars if I could, as it so deserves it!

Cons: The rooms were a bit small. No irons available- must send all clothes to the laundry to be ironed at a pretty outrageous rate. The food was just okay. No late night menu. Went to the bar which stays open til 2am but no food there either. Teeny tiny pool with literally 6 lounge chairs.

We reserved a table for dinner and as residents were given the worst table in the house next to the lifts and door to terrace on a very blustery evening. Having complained we were told that all the other tables were reserved even though they remained empty when we left at 10.45. Residents seemed to take second place to drop in drinks customers. Food was less than mediocre.

It was no problem to receive gluten-free breakfast. Even a vegan option was available. We had a room to the street with very good windows, that good night sleep was secured. Furthermore it was very easy to reach the city center by foot as well as main public transport spots for trips outside Malaga. Price matched the value. I would book the hotel again.

It does not match the quality ode their other offerings.

Cons: You need to walk 15-20 min to the centre. We booked this hotel because of the swimming pool and it was not very good. There are no changing rooms, everything is very basic. The pool is small. The shower is either too hot or too cold and you cannot adjust it. And the showers are in the corridor so you can't really undress and take a normal shower after working out or swimming. We ended up taking the shower in our rooms. So the spa area is very poor. The rest is fine

Cons: Although the room was spacious it wasn't designed with customers/guests in mind. Also, the kitchenette area is a bit useless if cutlery is not present. Some shelves, tables and lamps could be organised differently to make the room feel more spacious and usable. WiFi was quite slow and the TV didn't have an option to switch subtitles on - it would be useful as not all guests speak fluent Spanish and a vast majority of TV channels were Spanish only. The worst however was the mattress - it was extremely hard. I tend to like tough mattresses but this one was like sleeping on the floor. My partner who can't sleep on hard mattresses had to spent nights on the sofa. Finally, the reception area of the hotel is not very inviting to spend time there and do some laptop work - it's quite cold, dark and lacks soft furnishing. All in all, the price was a bit expensive for the comfort offered in this hotel and we won't be returning.

Cons: Only 1 very small towel per person, too small to wrap around your waist unless you are a midget..! Only one lift and VERY slow - much quicker to take the steps and we were on 4th floor. Only one English language TV channel - CNN

Cons: No hairdryer in room. Not enough towels. Towels smelt of bleach. Not enough pillows on bed. Poor menu. No tea or coffee in room. Only vending machine in lobby that was terrible.

Cons: No pots or electric kettle in the kitchen so not possible to cook or make tea. There was a fridge, cooker & microwave.
