|Top route||Road Town Beef Island to San Juan Luis Munoz Marin Intl|
Other than lack of snacks, everything else went very well.
They don’t keep you updated on the flight status very well. It was late but nothing said
Pros: Nothing!!! Horrible airline with horrible staff members.
Cons: Everything. The staff and crew of Intercaribbean airlines are very unprofessional and not helpful at all. On top of the flight delays all the luggage for that particular flight was left in Kingston. Everybody was rather nonchalant and unapologetic about the situation. I was told I would get the the following day. The next day only two of my three bags showed up. I was not compensated for the inconvenience and was told point blank that they will only deliver one of my bags to my address even though they were the reason I had NONE of my luggage in the first place. They are disgusting!!! I would never recommend this airline to anyone.
Pros: Nice people
Cons: A long walk to the D3 gate, but there were no amenities there I.e. snacks (to be fair a new terminal is under construction)
Cons: There was no air. I understand when you are on the ground it can be limited but even after getting to altitude there was no air conditioning.
Cons: Not be late.
Cons: The flight was delayed for over three hours, apparently it is a regular occurence.
Pros: almost nothing
Cons: The plane had a problem that forced us to turn around right after take off and as of this writing we still don’t know what’s going on or how long we are stuck here. Planes are old and apparently maintenance could be better.
Cons: Was a bit difficult understanding the flight attendant, she had a thick Spanish accent
Pros: Crew was good. Got there safely!
Cons: Maintenance issue caused us to have to get back off the plane, causing delay. Better safe than sorry, though!
Cons: Communication..The flight was delayed
Pros: Perfectly adequate hop.
Cons: Plane is pretty noisy.
Pros: The crew member was memorable in a great way. Enjoyed his job and it showed.
Cons: Too small..uncomfortable ride
Cons: Arrived admittedly later than i normally would due to ferry issues but it should’ve been plenty of time to board the flight. No one was at the check in area and 20 min later when we located someone from intercaribbean we were told it was now too late but we could get a refund but later refused
Pros: The Price.
Cons: The services in the counter was awful. And the flight eas late.
Cons: Flight was late
Intercaribbean needs to improve
Pros: Flew from San Juan to Tortola. Flight was delayed, didn't inform us at check in. More importantly, when we took off an hour and a half late, they didn't load ANY of the bags on the flight!! None of the passengers on our plane received their checked bags. We waited over 20 minutes before they informed us no bags were coming. Then told us they didn't know where the bags were. We called at 4:30, they said they had our bags and would put on the 6:30 ferry. Went to meet ferry, no bags. Called again, first woman said they didn't know where our bags were. When I explained everything she was able to locate them, thankfully, and they ended up on 9pm ferry. Communication needs to be better!!
Slow check in
Pros: The service was ahead of schedule and the flight attendant was attentive.
Cons: The check in process was a bit lengthy and the aircraft has seen better days.
Very poor as relates to Kayak.
Cons: Our Frontier flt to San Juan from RDU was 4.5 hours late. We tried to reschedule for 3 hours but could no. Finally paid $340 for new ticket from same carrier Intercaribbean wor 11:00 am Flight tomorrow. I f Kayak doesn’t help me I will report and file complaint any way possible.
Pros: nice stewardess, fast clean plane
Cons: it was over 1 hour late, and no one would tell us the status of the flight. had to call 877# to find out if they were cancelling or just late. last week they just cancelled with no reason left customers screwed
Cons: The flight was delayed for over 40 minutes and passengers were not informed, I almost missed my connection.
Good , no frills
Pros: Staff was friendly, flight attendant was friendly and helpful with customs forms.
Cons: Counter and boarding gate was down in a very delapidated area of the airport and far away from shops and services. Impresssion was that a professional presentation is not important. Small sandwich sign marks entrance to check -in.
Pros: Baggage arrived. Short flight and water is provided. No snacks we're necessary.
Charged for a second ticket and a transfer fee
Cons: My previous flight by Southwest landed an hour late causing me to miss my connector with InterCarribean by two minutes. Ten minutes after the plane departed, I called the InterCarribean online booking number to get on a flight later that day. After I got off of the phone and received my emailed receipt, I saw that I was charged the full price of the flight later that day and charged a $50 fee for adjusting my departure time without being refunded my initial ticket fare. However, I had called 20 minutes after my initial flight had taken off so I shouldn't have been charged a $50 transfer fee plus the cost of a second ticket ($170). So at the end of the day I bought two tickets for different flights plus a $50 transfer fee. I am hoping that maybe I can get this corrected but not overly hopeful. After getting confirmation that I had a seat on the second flight, I went to check in but there was no place to check in unless I exited through baggage claim and go to the primary check-in desk. Since I only had a carry-on I wanted to avoid having to stand in line and go through security again this but there were no InterCarribean locations on the concourses until my 6pm flight four hours later. I went to the main check-in desk and stood there for 90 minutes for a person to come out to man the desk. After I got my boarding pass, everything was OK.
Fine island hop
Pros: Low tech luggage screening, security, and boarding. Like the old days.
Cons: Plane is a little tired, and it's best days are behind it.
Cons: Having to look so hard for the airline
Pros: flight was great and on time, flight attendant was excellent
Cons: was at the ticket counter too long due to a computer malfunction
Pros: The flight was smooth and the landing was excellent.
Cons: The stewardess has a bad smell. The plane was not properly clean. There were flies in the plane.
My most unprofessional flight experience in 40 years
Pros: We made it safely ... nothing else.
Cons: 1. Couldn't find location of gate for 3 hours - not posted 2. Rude crew 3. Plane parked 1/3 to 1/2 mile from gate - walked with bags 4. Had to ask crew to take & stow bags 5. Arrival parking of plane long distance with no light.
