The worst airline to travel in India. Not at all customer service oriented. They don’t give a damn about passenger comfort and services.
Worst experience
Smooth boarding take off before time and arrived 23 minutes before TIME.
Clean cabin, efficient crew.
We are four family members so they given last row of flight which are not so comfortable
The boarding flight is painful experience, starting from entering the airport (poor training to staff to verify the identity and ticket details), standing at the counter to check in the baggage (extremely slow). Once boarded, it’s a pleasant experience. The crew is polite and patient.
Very disorganised and inefficient boarding procedure compounds the disorganised nature of the Indore airport. Crew announced that a system would be followed based on those passengers that paid for expedited boarding, those with children and those in the military etc. However the system was not implemented. Not sure why IndiGo does not use and enforce zonal boarding. A/C not working on bus transporting passengers to aircraft and information system indicating flight information not working either. Given this leg happened after sunset there was very poor lighting on boarding ramps at both Indore and Mumbai.
Boarding procedures are very inefficient and disorganised at the gate. Not sure why Indigo doesn't utilise and enforce a zonal boarding system. Passengers were transported by bus to aircraft on tarmac which once again made for a very disorganised system. Passengers rushed towards the boarding ramps where IndiGo staff then indicated that passengers from rows 1-15 would board at the front while those from 15 onwards would board from the rear. Passengers could have been transported to the aircraft based on their assigned rows in the first place to smoothen the procedure.
Last minute gate change … from jetway to bus, delayed boarding … too much waiting on the bus to board.
Food purchase options confusing. Out of 4 Indigo flights this week, two offered a choice of food, the third offered only 1 choice, and one offered no food. Very confused what I buy when I buy an Indigo ticket.
Flight got delayed and was declared before half an hour. It’s not fair with those who are loyal with Indigo.
The paneer served was so hard.
Perhaps providing a menu would have helped as it was my first time onboard and I did not know what was being served.
Excellent service provided!
No one seemed to bother about the pandemic and moreover no one checked if the passengers are fully vaccinated or not. Not a single pandemic rule is being followed.
On time flight, baggage came out fast. Overall good experience
All good
we have three Returned Air Tickets, Printing charges of Rs. 600.00 was charged on 26.11.2021, through my credit card, for printing of my Air Tickets, at Rajkot. Whereas no charges were Levied from Chandigarh Indigo Flight and Delhi Air India flight On 22.11.2021. Please arrange to refund in my credit card account. An early action is highly appreciable and inform me accordingly Regards N K Bansal 9417555246 NARESHBANSAL115@gmail.com
Boarding was NOT good enough. Our cabin luggage was pushed back to check-in in the pretext of packed flight. But eventually there were empty seats on the flight. Also, we booked seats on exit rows... But seems something got changed and we got same seats alright, but they were no longer on exit row (& that was empty eventually). Flight claimed to have a travel time of 1 hour 50 minutes, but it took around 2:20 minutes (seems Indigo has a different clock). 😂
Clean, timely, professional.
Check in is a mess. Be ready for a traumatic experience from the unsupportive and rude check in staffs and duty managers at Calicut airport. It’s a chaos and the lines are mostly first in last out, as they don’t care of the passenger well being or the waiting time. They are just concerned of checking in before the boarding call. Personal experience is of standing 2 hours straight just for check in. Flight is ok, food preordered are all the instant ones with hot water mix, which tastes pathetic. Overall, will never take another indigo flight to fly out of india.
Bag check is not as smooth as can be at CST Terminal 2. Passengers are advised to print out and attach boarding passes at home in a bid to avoid crowding at self-service kiosks given the Covid-19 public health crisis. However attendants then say tags need to be re-printed at the counter as the ones provided by the airline at the airport are more secure. While the check-in process is aided by the helpful staff, Indigo Airlines could do a better job of providing more self-service kiosks and clearer guidance during the online purchase process. Suggest calling ahead to confirm situation on the ground.
Pros: I really like the way updates were sent to me on my phone about the whole journey including gaye changes, reminders etc.
Cons: Pretty satisfied
Cons: In Kiwi i couldnt add extra baggage weight. I had to pay extra in the baggage drop in
Pros: Not much.
Cons: We flew to India and back from Turkey. Both flights had 2 stops and both times Indigo said we didn’t have a second flight and wouldn’t give us a second boarding pass meaning we had to go out to the check in both times to get our second boarding pass and both times were very problematic. Also we have a 7+ hour international flight on a very small plane with no free food or drinks. Just not a very good flight experience overall.
Pros: I liked the fact that it was a direct flight
Cons: Little more customer satisfaction
Pros: Seat felt very uncomfortable and as though it was about to break! Very cramped.
Pros: Basically nothing
Cons: They should do announcements properly, and the crew attitude is awful.
Pros: Worth buying an XL seat Liked the rolling ramp better than steps. Buses to terminal were wuick
Cons: Baggage policy for checkin and carryon is too restrictive, too low. Too many email messages sent by IndiGo.
Pros: Happy
Cons: All good
On board IndiGo flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 55x35x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the IndiGo assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
