Intermediate SUV

Avoid Sixt at all costs. They will find some hidden miniscule cosmetic damage in a place no one ever looks, and then charge you some exorbitant amount of $$$ for said "damage" (everything starts at four figures with these idiots). This is the worst car rental rip-off business I have not had a pleasure renting from. Will NOT use EVER again.

They did not have a contract with Mr. Theyvsaid it will be emailed to you, but was not emailed. Upon car delivery, they did not show me the detail of the past scratches and dis not get my signature. Upon asking, they've aid its ok. When I returned the car after 12 hours, they are claiming several damages in all sides of the car. They realizwd that I am flying out of country and try to make money out of my pocket through fake damages

Car in very good condition, very clean, and added safety options for lane and adaptive speed control. The return of car went fine, but on arrival during normal business hours there was no one in the garage area to immediately process the car.

Cons:

They charge a hefty "kaution" which makes you pay an extra 100 euros that is returned after the service is finished and the car is returned.

I don't understand 2 things: 1. Why don't they write somewhere in confirmation, that they accept only credit card (no debit). Yes, you can find it on page 8/12 with font size 8 in general terms... And oh, they would accept debit if you pay double the price for insurance. Very disappointing. 2. You need to sing, that car has no damage and only then pick-up a car. Then you need to find a guy in garage to write down the damage, which was our case... very disappointing. Other than that, staff was nice and was trying to help.

We were charged an extra 13Eu, per day, because we intended to use the car outside of Austria. We weren't made aware of this prior to the rental. This made the cost significantly higher than other rentals. I am very disappointed. This is deceptive! I will not use this service any more!

The pickup at the Alamo counter at the Vienna International Airport was excellent. The attendant was very helpful and provided information that I hadn't even thought of. The car was clean and in good condition.

A representative never showed up at the airport to meet me, they never tried to contact me to say there was an issue, and the phone number given never worked. I called 24 times throughout the day. I ended up renting from Europcar at the counter for three times the price. I think it's a SCAM. I was in Vienna.

Cancelled car with no notification. We only found out 30-minutes prior to our booking as we called to clarify pick up instructions. Now dealing with trying to get a refund for the booking and compensation for the last minute booking we had to make day of to replace this, with the cost difference being significant. Separately, their pick up is not where all the other (much more convenient) airport rentals are located. Not worth the savings - absolutely do not recommend.
