Cons (-) Smokers clustered outside at rear entry door. Smoking should be further restricted on premises.
Pros (+) Newly renovated. .. rooms looked exactly as the photo.. got a great deal for 2 nights... rebook for next weekend. Hidden gem!
Cons (-) Minimal breakfast. Even though hot, it was kinda bland.
Pros (+) The decor of the updated rooms is quite beautiful and tastefully done. The bed was one of the best sleeping hotel beds I've slept in. Breakfast was delicious and included a variety of choices (hot foods/cold foods/fruits and beverages) with adequate amounts for all guests to be served. Hotel is very customer oriented and the location is central to downtown and other area attractions.
Cons (-) There was a slight musty odor in the hallway.
Pros (+) The room was very nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was surprisingly varied with eggs, biscuits, and gravy, to compliment the routine continental breakfast.
