Pros: I liked the entertainment options and the leg room.
Cons: The dinner on the flight from IAD/DUB was not very good. However, the lunch on the way back to IAD was much better.
Pros: Fue un maltrató y abuso de autoridad , además de una estafa consumada con el procedimiento con el equipaje de mano
Pros: The crew was super compitent and friendly.
Pros: Many empty seats.
Cons: Poor customer service. I think I said thank you many more times than the flight attendants who barely acknowledged me. They seemed annoyed about delivering basic services (distributing meals/collecting rubbish/etc.).
Cons: The flight took off kate from Bdl, so they didn’t bring the bags into Barcelona Then in Barcelona , no one cares about anything. There is no office of aer lingual abd Iberia who suooosed to take over , doesn’t care
Broken down interior
Pros: Crew, food, and entertainment
Cons: Seats and tray tables were old and falling apart. Couldn’t get tray table back into upright and locked position. Not much leg room.
Cons: Baggage claim wait was over an hour
Pros: I was very disappointed that we had to pay for our checked baggage both coming and going to Philadelphia. Also had to pay for our seat allication in order to make sure I would be sitting with my elderly mother. It made our flight more expensive than we would have liked. Will probably not be booking with aer lingus again.
Cons: We also had to wait for our luggage to be off loaded for 3 hours on our outward journey due to an immenent thunder storm with absolutely no appology from aer lingus!!!
Pros: We arrived safely and ahead of schedule
Cons: It was exceptionally hot, too hot to be comfortable. I was so overheated I felt panicked. Very unacceptable. The flight attendants k interacted with were rude.
Must have International Standards.
Pros: Most airlines now have vegetarian options.
Lost bag recovery service very poor
Pros: Friendly flight attendants
Cons: Poor bag tracking, recovery and delivery system
Checked in luggage lost on direct non stop fllight
Pros: pleasant flight attendents comfortable ride good movies good food
Cons: lost our only one check in luggage on a non stop flight. They put it on the wrong plane to a different destination. We did not receive it back for three days. We paid $145 for check in to only have it lost. Unbelievable.
Cons: My carry on was “too big” so I had to run to buy a bag. disgusting
Very much professional n courteous
Pros: Entire trip was a good experience
Worst airline ever
Cons: They over booked our flight and bumped us off our flight with a group of other unhappy people! Then took forever to actually help us get sorted! I'll never fly with Aer Lingus again!
Very bad services. I was very upset experience
Cons: Everything was a desastre. Very bad service. Any consideration with us after more than 20 hours of delay.
Cons: Broken seats, headphone socket not working, smell of aviation fuel in cabin and then our luggage did not arrive at our final destination.
Wouldn't book with Aer Lingus again
Pros: Boarding went OK, although the flight was delayed
Cons: Did not receive proper meal accommodations, no entertainment (my TV didn't work), did not want emergency seat but received anyway, rude flight attendants...terrible experience altogether. Opened a dispute with Aer Lingus last week, haven't heard back yet.
Pros: Easy to get on and off. Friendly crew
Cons: The seats were very uncomfortable and did not recline.
Pros: Fast flight
Cons: Awful food Awful seats, very uncomfortable and cramped
Pros: the staff were excellent and nice
Pros: Staff were friendly & helpful - as much as they could be.
Cons: 1) I ordered a non-lactose meal but was given a meal which had dairy in it because it made me ill the same way that dairy does. I think I was given the vegetarian option instead of non-lactose. Pretty poor - especially given the health consequences of such sloppiness. 2) No-checkin ability in advance of arriving at the airport so I was unable to select my seats. 3) My tv screen did not have movie options so I had to move seats. 4) Had to pay for a measly vodka & tonic but no advance warning of having to pay for alchoholic drinks. 5) Crew uniforms were drab & shoes were scruffy, most wearing scuffed old shoes that looked like they'd played football in them. Gives a bad impression.
Pros: While you have a very good selection of audio, your film and tv selection is odd to say the least. Great that you have IFB shorts but the tv selection is odd.
Cons: You need a vegetarian or at least dietary restricted option - not food options had dairy on today’s flight
Pros: I was traveling with my handicapped parents and everyone with Aer Lingus was very helpful and nice.
Good Flight but Missing a Few Frills
Pros: Generally everything was good: delicious food, polite staff, seat that leaned back all the way as used to be customary.
Cons: The tray tables slanted toward us quite a bit, rather than staying level as they should. Flight attendant knew to suggest we prop them up with a pillow underneath, thankfully, but old equipment probably should be repaired or replaced more frequently to avoid this problem. Also, the food supply was running a little short, which meant that I could not buy an extra sandwich at the time when I was hungry for it since they had to save their supply for the tea service. (First meal was called lunch; smaller meal at the end was called tea.) Additionally, the main meals ("lunch") were not listed in the food brochure, meaning that I had to ask the flight attendant about the details while he was taking my order, a slightly inefficient system. (No problem for one passenger, but if you multiply it by the number of passengers on the plane, it may have kept someone from using the restroom when they wanted to, or similar.)
Cons: Earplug jack didn't work
Pros: Flight on time. Crew lovely
Cons: The food wasn't great
Pros: The members of staff at the check in desk, boarding and the crew members in the course of the flight were very efficient and hospitable.
Pros: No shortage of good food and entertainment. Crew was friendly and professional.
Cons: Plane was a little dated.
Pros: The seats on the flight were very comfortable and spacious. The crew was super nice and very accomodating.
Known for being the flag carrier of Aruba, this airline operates flights to over 10 different destinations, with many of them being domestic voyages. If you are interested in traveling with this company to an international location, you can choose from several countries, including Cuba, Colombia, Guyana, and the United States.
In order to keep their ticket prices as affordable as possible, Aruba Airlines opts to only have Economy Class on their flights. When you have an Economy seat, you will be able to bring one checked piece of baggage and one carry-on, while also receiving additional benefits, like complimentary refreshments during the flight.
Although Aruba Airlines does not have any formal agreements or connections with other airlines, it is completely owned by Seastar Holding, an investment group that is also from Aruba. Additionally, the company is often compared to Copa Airlines, an organization that is from Panama and also offers a variety of domestic and international flights.
Aruba Airlines has a fleet that consists of 5 planes, with 2 of them being Bombardier and 3 being Airbus. The Airbus A320-200 is the aircraft that is most frequently employed by the airline, as it can fit between 150 to 180 passengers, has a spacious interior, and has a fuel capacity that allows it to be particularly well suited for long-haul flights. For shorter flights, like domestic trips, the Bombardier CRJ200 and the Bombardier Dash 8-300 are more commonly used, as they are meant to fly smaller distances and both have a passenger capacity of just 50 people.
