- Entertainment system did not work for the entire duration for the flight. 14 hours looking at a blank screen! - Improve the comfort within the planes. It feels like sitting on a wooden surface and is really in uncomfortable state. This is supposed to be an national flight and needs to be at that caliber.
Stay away. Saves time but everything else is worthless. Nothing works - screens, recliners, staff is worthless. Waste of money
The entertainment programs choices are poor. Plus the system was not working. The aircraft is old. Really looking forward to this airlines improving and becoming a world class airlines.
Great experience and I found domestic Air India flight amenities and food was far better and best as compared to Air India international flights..
Entertainment in air India flight is super worse, none of the entertainment console worked. Not just for us both many co passengers had faced the same issue. Seats are super hard and lost the comfy. Sitting for 15+ hrs in hard seat is miserable experience. Food quality degraded badly and they now serving Potato in all forms which looks like the cheapest vegetable.. potato curry and potato cutlet..OMG- Air India, you need to be mindful and please please improve the travelling experience and give the passengers a pleasant experience for what we are paying for..
Its a horrible flight, seats are broken, entertainment does not work and food is terrible. Avoid this flight at all cost
Inflight entertainment was non working. No one told us about transfer counter plus due to immigration delay we missed the connecting flight. They made no effort to get us on the next flight.
Better entertainment
Better deplaning procedures and better entertainment.
Crew did their level best to make it comfortable. But how many things they can overcome. Horrible food, Entertainment unit did not work Seat reservations were lost Seats where stinky, old and horrible Color scheme of sets was red and yellow. Horrible. Gowdy Crew was amazing nice, doing their level best to overcome challenges.
Flights are very old. No Screen working. Not super clean flight
Same old problems from earlier trip from jfk to Delhi
Not much to like. Lot to not like. Food was not what we selected for kids. Entertainment was non existent. Staff cared very little about anything.
Our paid seats were assigned to someone else. Horrible service
We paid for aisle comfort seats which were assigned to someone else. Horrible service.
Air India is using old aircraft whose in-flight entertainment systems are outdated. Get your own source of entertainment and a power bank because they don’t have charging ports on the plane. The flight was comfortable and the food was good. The staff was courteous and hospitable.
Baggage and immigration was a joke, no control of what airline or airport is doing. Entertainment system never worked. Food was hardly filling and does not taste good. Flight was never cleaned, garbage in tray and seats. Avoid if u have connectivity from Delhi or Mumbai.
Air India has absolutely zero sense of customer service.
I was charged for a business class fare and they gave me economy. The flight had no in-flight entertainment system. The plane is outdated old and dirty. I would not recommend this airline to my worst enemy. The first and the last time I’m flying Air India.
Both ways the video system was not working. My seat table was dirty. Food was decent.
Most of the screens and remove doesn’t work. Food was served just twice and no coffee/tea in between for such long journeys. Staff were nice, food was ok for vegetarians.
On both the flights SFO to New Delhi(21st May) and New Delhi to SFO (21st June) the in flight entertainment system did not work. This is terrible and cannot be acceptable for a 16 hour flight. Passengers should be refunded part of the fare.
flight time is very good seat and entertainment could be better
Old planes with broken seats and bad quality food
The entertainment system was shut off 2 hours into the flight for the duration of the entire flight for all passengers. This is like a bus with wings
It was not bad
T .v not working.and Delhi airport staff does not helping what to we do next where to go.and bags pick up and drop off for next flight it was very inconvenient after long flight
Seats were broken. Passengers on business class were bumped to economy because there weren’t enough seats in business and first for those who booked. Tray tables were broken. Very limited entertainment (eg two random episodes of each tv show). Food came out cold. Flight attendants didn’t show up to collect trays etc.
Entertainment system didn't work at all. Tray table was not level...
Chair seats were dirty and time for replacement
On board Air India flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 55x35x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Air India assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
