Pros: I had no one sitting next to me , which was great because of social distancing. Staff where friendly.
Cons: Having somewhere to charge my phone
Cons: We had to buy an extra seat because there wasn't enough passengers that showed up so the flight was going to be cancelled. An extra 3000 pesos after a very stressful wait.
Pros: The crew was very friendly and kind
Cons: It took forever to get on the plane, and there was nobody at the gate for us to ask when we were going to start boarding. The website didn't have any information either.
Since this is a smaller plane, it's prone to turbulence so it was very bumpy as we approached Mexico City
Pros: We could have drinks and snacks without purchasing them. And the crew is nice
Cons: Boarding was delayed and nobody said anything regarding the delay. There was no one in the counter and that was frustrating
Pros: Crew was super nice and we could have drinks and snacks without a charge
Cons: Seats were clean, just some floor vacuum
Cons: Delayed flight by two hours and lost bag. Definitely avoid Aeromar
Pros: Free beer, popcorn
Cons: We were bumped to a later flight because Aeromar overbooked the flight. There was no compensation for the inconvenience. Also the flight we were put on was 45min late leaving. The crew seemed to be wasting a lot time loading luggage on to the aircraft
Cons: Everything was good
Cons: Professional and on time
Pros: Service was great. The crew was great.
Cons: The planes feel old.
Pros: On time departure. Kind crew!
Cons: Requested an earlier flight since we arrived at airport early. We were told we would have to pay almost 7000 Mxpesos for penalties!!! Crazy! Same airline only 2 hours earlier.. Why??!!
Pros: Convenience
Cons: Using ATR's there should be a bigger savings on fares. Cost factors are less operating turbo prop aircraft. Your prices do not correspond with your cost savings in comparison with jet operators.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Flight on time, fligh attendants that didn’t bother me
Pros: My flight from Guadalara got deleyed and i couldn't get on time into Mexico city
Cons: Poor plane quality and delayed.
Pros: Pretty good flight overall.
Cons: Better snacks/ entertainment.
Cons: The flights to Acapulco and back to MX City were both late.
Pros: Very different with an in country Mexican airlines. Flight was 1 1/2 hours late. Everything very basic but comfortable flight. No food or beverage service.
Cons: Not knowing the language makes it a little different in figuring out boarding order and such but asking among the local travelers gets things lined up
Cons: We didn't get assigned seats as the system was not available so we ended up getting the boarding passes at the gate. However it was very chaotic as a lot of people were in the same situation. Then it was announced that the flight was delayed for another 90 minutes.
Cons: Over 1 hour delay and 2 gate changes with no communication!
Baggage claim was as far from entry to terminal as possible.
Cons: More clear signs and instructions for boarding.
Cons: Flight was delayed ... had to walk to plane from gate. Arrival was good, bus from plane to terminal arrived directly at baggage carrousel
Great service!!!
Pros: Very clean and great service!!
Cons: Running 1 hour late
Pros: At the gate they should talk in English as well as Spanish calling passengers to get in the plane
Puerto Escondido!!!
Pros: Aeromar is a very competent regional
Cons: leaving Puerto Escondido
Nice, modern and confortable plane and good pilots
Pros: It’s my first flight with a plane using both helix and turbo engine. It gives you a nice safety sensation. Good flight.
Cons: They put us on waiting line for landing, which is not the fault of the airline, of course.
Pros: The flight attendants were very professional and the flight was very comfortable as well.
I booked this flight but...
Cons: I received a confirmation number but when I got to the airport , the ticket wasn’t booked. I’m not sure what happened. I see it was in my credit card.
This was a bad service.
Take long time to bord
Cons: Put me in hould to bord more than 2 hours
Pleasantly surprised
Pros: We were on time. Everyone very courteous. Check in easy. Plane clean and safe. Given the negative reviews out there, I can honestly say this trip was just fine.
Pros: Same as above.
Aeromar charges the 2nd piece of luggage by pound!!!
Cons: My second bag had to be paid by pound! I payed $85 us for a 14 kg lugagge for a 45 minute flight... The price for the bag was more expensive than my own flight ticket!!!
Cons: Reserva no respetada
Good overall
Pros: We we're late leaving but we were OK
Cons: Delayed scheduled pickup
Pros: Personal was excellent
Pros: Clean, well maintained plane. Staff was pleasant and professional
The handle on my suitcase was broken.
Pros: Everything was good except the handle on my suitcase was broken and
Cons: Damaged suitcase
Nice and professional flight crew
Pros: VERY friendly.
Comfortable.
The crew had to deal with a sick passenger and they did it with professionalism and kindness.
The refreshments were excellent! Much better than US airlines.
Cons: The boarding process was a bit confusing.
The directions weren't clear from the crew, but they were very friendly.
Late boarding and we had no updates from the staff.
AeroMar is perfect for short trips
Pros: The staff was very professional boarding from Acapulco, Morelia, and Mexico City. They are very friendly and will help you answer any questions you have.
Cons: One flight got delayed an hour. Also picking up our luggage was a huge mess, they piled five flights together and we had to wait an hour for our stuff.
Pros: We were only 4 on board.. excellent service
Cons: They didnt put fuel to the plane by the time it was the flight we have to wait like 20min or more.. That happen at CDMX ..
Great service
Pros: Fligth on time, with a nice and kind crew.
Cons: Since we were flying on a prop plane, a new experience for me, I was a little surprised at the differences: the greater degree of bumpiness in turbulence, the sense of quicker and sharper take off and landing.
Pros: Not much..Courteous boarding agent
Cons: Flight rescheduled, ...then delayed again...
spent hours in airport lounge... long waits on bus to airplane ..poor snack
Several items stolen from suitcase
First time in Acapulco
Pros: Smooth flight
Cons: The seats are too cramped and no luggage space for a carry on with people bringing on several bags of souvenirs and use all overhead storage.
Cons: The long delay
Kayak ripoff
Pros: Kayak charged much more than quoted price
Cons: Kayak overcharged
Cons: The airline Cancelled our flight during its rearrangement of its schedule but failed to inform us. We happened to find about it the day before the flight through my cousin who booked through orbitz. The new schedule had fewer options which was sad. Lucky for us we found out about it. Departure was delayed because of lack of staff. The plane sat waiting and ready at the gate, the desk phone rang for twenty five minutes and announcements were made on the public address system in search of staff who could board us. The flight was fine but the front end made we wonder about the operation.
Pros: Clean airplane. Friendly crew. I think everything was great.
Worst Airline ever
Pros: Nothing really.
Cons: - Overbooked flight (by over 20 seats!!! WTF).
- Lie after lie about what was going on.
- Flight was over 4h delayed.
Pros: Flight was late in departure and affected my later dinner schedule with my family so I️ was not too happy being late in Acapulco
Cons: Late departure from Mexico City
Cons: Check in counter opened less than 2 hours before flight and by time we checked in and went through security it was almost time for flight! Would be nice to sit and relax a sort bit.
Flight got delayed about 3 hours
Cons: No updates at any time. No opportunity to buy food. No entertainment.
Cons: Aeromar is a scam
Fast
Pros: VIP wait area
Cons: Boarding flight stairs are too steep
Super bad experience
Cons: The day of my trip I showed up to the airport only to discover that there was no flight. I was never notified. No representative was around and phone numbers didn't work. I had to book a last minute flight with another airline in order to get home.
Cons: Flight was delayed. When the gateman came to tell me I requsted my bill and when that completed I saw the plane depart. It was half full and already late. They required me to pay $125 USD to take the next half empty flight.
Outragiouz
Pros: The services
Cons: A little of entertainment
Pros: Empty plane
Cons: No toilet seat on the men's toilet in Puerto Escondido airport, it's been like that for months!!
Predominantly focused on domestic flights, Aeromar is a Mexican airline based in Mexico City. It operates a wide-reaching network across Mexico, which includes 20 destinations. A secondary hub is located in Guadalajara that is responsible for servicing nonstop flights to the west coast of Mexico, a popular vacation hotspot. International flights are also available to the United States and specifically southern destinations in Texas.
Codeshare agreements are held with two of the world’s most prevalent carriers: United Airlines and Turkish Airlines. These associations allow passengers to access more countries across the globe and use Mexico City as a gateway to Canada, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Economy is the only cabin class offered on Aeromar services. All cabins in the fleet are set up in a 2 x 2 layout, meaning that you are guaranteed either a window seat or direct aisle access. Complimentary hand luggage includes a carry-on bag and a personal item, such as a jacket or laptop. The combined weights of these items must not be more than 10 kg (approximately 22 lb). A maximum checked baggage weight of 25 kg (approximately 55 lb) is afforded for flights within Mexico and 23 kg (approximately 50 lb) on international services.
An exclusively ART fleet of planes is operated by Aeromar. Both the ATR 42 and ATR 72 models are regularly flown, with the dual-propeller jets quickly transporting passengers on short routes. The aircraft are designed to carry either 48 or 68 passengers. Due to these regional-sized planes being considerably smaller than large scale commercial airliners, the boarding and disembarking times are greatly reduced.
