Cons: It was WAY to expensive for what you got and location wise. Got the Spa daily use package and that was not what we thought. You could only use the facility for 1 hour a day and had to reserve in advance. The staff at the Spa were very rude and not accomodating at all. You also had to use a swimming cap that they provide. Never been to a hotel that requires a swimming cap to use the facilities so we thought that was odd. The price of the room was way to expensive for what you got. I would not recommend staying at the resort for more then a couple of days. Wish we would have researched the property a bit more. Make sure you read the find print.

Pros: The location of the hotel makes it very walkeable to any of the sites in Ronda. We arrived by car and there is a convenient unloading spot right in front of the hotel. The receptionist showed us on a map where all the parking garages were in the area but then encouraged us to look for free street parking. We found a spot just a block away and left the car there during our whole stay. We had a nice big room with a couple of stuffed chairs and lots of storage, including a safe. The bed was comfortable, although a bit soft for our taste. The bathroom was nice and large and the shower was very good. We enjoyed the breakfast, but the coffee needs inprovement— it’s one of those push button machines and none of the choices made coffee that was strong enough. It all tasted watery. All the staff here are friendly and helpful, even when surrounded by loud and demanding groups of guests as we witnessed one morning in the breakfast room. There is a lounge for guests, including a microwave and a fridge. We highly recommend the Polo!

Pros: It was one of the famous Paradores that I wanted to visit. The building is old but considering, the room was Very Large, and comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent. Ronda is not big to begin with, but it’s a good location, if you choose your room well, you’ll have the view to the arch or sceneries below the valley.

Pros: We let them know we were running late and the very kindly kept the chef in to cook for us. We had extra beers to take to our room rather than keep them up which they appreciated. They also looked after our bags for a few hours so we could go into Ronda on the Motorcycles and be tourists and not worry about lugging our gear around with us. Thank you Ana and Frederico

Pros: We let them know we were running late and the very kindly kept the chef in to cook for us. We had extra beers to take to our room rather than keep them up which they appreciated. They also looked after our bags for a few hours so we could go into Ronda on the Motorcycles and be tourists and not worry about lugging our gear around with us. Thank you Ana and Frederico

Cons: Extremely noisy room (and my only request was a quite room). There is a small bar in the ground floor of the hotel that stays open until late - even after it is closed you can hear the cleaning noises. Also, the walls and doors are not that thick, so you can hear many noises late night and early morning. The blinders were also not enough, so the room was very clear during the first hours of the morning. Parking is also misleading here - in the confirmation email they say that there are public parking nearby. Once you get there (and once you have already parked your car in one of the many Parkings) you are informed in the reception that there is one specific parking with discounted rates for hotel guests... not very pleasant of course.

Cons: The hotel's cafe seems to be being renovated, and so the breakfast was available in a nearby cafe. However they did not tell us this when we arrived, we had to ask where breakfast was, but due to our very poor Spanish this was very hard for us to understand! It was even harder when we got the the cafe and had to convince them that they should give us a free breakfast! However this would have been easier if our Spanish was better.

Pros: Interesting old Spanish palace in excellent location (if you are on foot). Smart TV with Netflix. Pleasant helpful staff.
Cons: we were in presidential suite. Weird suite of rooms, several unusable with large items of elaborate furniture and religious art works. Lots of plants, some very dead. Slightly spooky! Weather dark, wet and windy. May have contributed. Difficult to find and parking outside or even close seemed impossible. Very expensive but possibly because of All Saint’s holiday weekend.

Cons: About 15 minutes into staying in our "upgraded suite" we lost power and wifi. I went down to the front desk to try and resolve the issue but the clerk at the front desk was unable to bring the power back on. This was especially challenging because the bedroom and bathroom had about a 6 inch step to get in and out. The room was terrible - 3 different staircases that led no where - or into other guests rooms. The worst part was when we reached out to the hotel to offer some kind of compensation because we paid almost 100 euros to stay in the dark - they offered nothing. I would never suggest staying here. No clue how they are rated 4 stars.

Our room was located in the other (not main) building, which was not widely visited, so it was very quiet. Both check-in & check-out processes were quick, and there is no problem if You ask the receptionist to form a tax invoice adressed to Your company.

Cons: The entire hotel was cold, we spent two days frozen to the bone, although we requested twice that they should sort out the heating in the room. What they cold breaktfast buffet, was disappointing and does not deserve to be called buffet. Most of the staff were unfriendly and not helpful.

Cons: On the site there is a parking lot, and there was no parking because it was full., It was not specified that the parking is paid and how much. We had to park in a public car park far from the hotel especially that you are older with luggage.

Cons: Room was barely equipped, for example there was no minibar (fridge); wi-fi coverage was pretty poor or sometimes it was unavailable at all. As the room was not located in the main building (~50m away), there was no option to reach the reception (in person) without leaving Your building.

Cons: Parking is quite complicated, its 11 EUR per day, otherwise Its quite a challenge to find a spot on the street. The hotel is clean but noisy, you can hear a lot from other rooms. The breakfast wasnt very good. No vegetables or fruits, no ham or cheese, just bread and some spreads or cereals.

Pros: We felt the price was good for a room with 4 single beds (although we only needed 2), with the inclusion of a continental breakfast. Location was good. Bathroom was very clean.
Cons: The elevator only went to the 3rd floor, so we had to walk up a flight of stairs to our room on the 4th floor. No sound proofing between rooms - therefore, we could hear EVERYTHING in the room next to us!! - and this went on until approximately 11:30 at night! We arrived early, prior to check-in time. The front desk clerk would not let us park our car in the hotel parking spot, nor take our luggage until the 2 pm check-in. As a result, we parked on the street aways from the hotel with our luggage still in the car while we went sightseeing & could check-in a few hours later. We thought this was strange, as all other hotels will hold your luggage for you, and we saw a room that was labeled "luggage area ?". The beds were not good quality and the bedspreads were very thin and looked old.
