Excellent 8.8
Pros: Clean modern room, good breakfast, very central.
Cons: Room a bit under furnished.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Quiet, clean, friendly helpful staff, everything I needed for a short stay - toiletries, great hair dryer, cotton sheets, tea/coffee. I didn't want to leave! Thanks to you all. I'll definitely book again.
Cons: Only one small gripe - if you could you fit a wider shower screen over the bath (in room 100) it would be perfect! The water pressure is great, but it splashes all over the floor!

Excellent 9.4
Pros: - Pet friendly - Beautiful building with beautiful rooms and beautiful gardens
Cons: - The kitchen is just regular - We had to queue for the breakfast because the room is too small - We had to reserve even for the 5 o clock tea hours in advance
Good 7.5
Pros: Breakfast in the Wernher Restaurant was very nice - the room is spectacular, as is the view if you don't get seated next to the para vent that hides the kitchen entrance or by far worse get sent to the Adam`s Brasserie. The whole estate is wonderful with lovely paths twining through the estate which also has a well visited golf course. Lovely spa and swimming pool area. It is very quiet in the evenings and during the night. Room was very clean, typical old English furniture. There were two gentlemen attending to guests at the entrance to the Wernher restaurant - these two met up with 5* expectations, as did the men at the door and the "Mansion" itself.
Cons: The reception desk was not very helpful with information about places to visit, we asked for some information we were told to look on internet - a few days later we found a small area, adjacent to the lobby, with loads of pamphlets and leaflets about places to visit. We booked on two evenings the Wernher restaurant and Adam`s Brasserie - both were a disappointment. Although the Wernher restaurant has a wonderful setting, well worth the 5* with beautiful wall tapestries and fine table setting - the food was unfortunately not of a high standard. Wine was served from two different corked bottles in the same glass. The Adam`s Brasserie was far worse - the food was absolutely terrible. The Breakfast in this area is totally not 5* and very poor. Table decoration as in a roadside cafe, cobwebs on the lighting free of charge. Definitely not up to standard. Staff trying to solve problems with breakfast seating were discussing things in front of us - also something you do not wish to hear as a guest. The water in the bathroom smelt of chlorine, a lamp was out of order. We didn't visit the sauna as swimsuits are to be worn at all times - something Europeans don't understand but respect. I would suggest avoiding the Brasserie if you have taste buds and only dining in the Wernher Restaurant for the overall experience. There are far better restaurants in Harpenden or Saint Albans.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Was upgraded free of charge to junior suite! The staff exceptional. The grounds beautiful. Pure class.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful grounds pure luxury
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed here for a very short relaxing (post wedding) stay, booked last minute. The staff were wonderful, incredible service and they went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. Would highly recommend for a short luxury stay. The spa was great and they squeezed me in for a facial on the day.
Cons: The only negative is that an omelette at breakfast was extra money! After paying over 20 for breakfast you would have thought an omelette is included.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The Lady Zia room was wonderful and the public areas in the main house were impressive. Walks around the grounds were beautiful and all the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent in the main house.
Cons: The check in area was a little underwhelming for a 5* hotel. Also, If you're fussy about rooms like me, then I would recommend calling the hotel to discuss. As the lady on reception explained to me, the rooms in the main house vary a lot but we did not feel the first room we were allocated was worth the £400+ we had paid. Our complaint was however dealt with brilliantly and we ended up being extremely happy with our stay.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The food was excellent as was the bedroom.
Cons: It was quite noisy at early night with a lot of door banging.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very comfy beds. Very powerful shower. Amazing food
Cons: I had to leave & go home!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The grounds are magnificent very well kept .the house is well what can I say it’s pure class lots of history.the food is fantastic
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing room! Parkland Suite - beautiful. Dressing gowns, slippers, four poster bed, quiet and everything you could possible wish for.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: It was very pleasant stay! Everything you needed was there: very good breakfast, spacious room, pub, sunny patio. The building is unique and very special. Easy access to other areas incl London via train. The owner did even more than we could have expected and gave us very valuable tips for visiting London and nearby. Thank you Leaside Hotel and we defenetely recommend this hotel to others.
Good 7.5
Pros: The staff were very helpful
Cons: Stairs, which made it difficult with luggage
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room was an attic one,no view ,no open windows and super fast broadband was super slow
Good 7.9
Pros: Reall friendly and helpful staff in the restaurant.
Cons: Shower not the most powerful. Carpet in rooms would probably help reduce outside noise?
Good 7.9
Pros: Friendly competent staff, a superb fillet steak dinner at a very good price, room upgrade free, secure parking
Cons: Priximity of a busy railway line which kept us awake with lots of trains throughout the night
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The hotel was lovely the staff very accommodating. Evening food wonderful. Breakfast a little hit and miss.
Cons: Area didn’t appear wonderful... but gated parking so car park secure.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them, especially Sinead. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food was superb and the menu range was excellent, suitable for the full range of ages in our party. The breakfast was also excellent with fresh coffee and cafetieres. Garden area was beautiful and very well kept in line with the whole hotel, and we were very happy with all four rooms we had. Thank you to all the staff at The Leaside
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Free parking , easy check in, helpful staff and clean rooms
Okay 5.8
Pros: Easy check in good car parking. Lovely bar
Cons: We had a room at the front. Lovely room. Sunken bath good but not for two older people's with back and hip problems. 4 poster bed creaky we could hear the trains all night we could probably have changed the room if we asked but did not as too tired on check out was not how we enjoyed our stay or anything. Gent had his coat on still no hi or byes just room number and bill

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Staff were 1st class. The location to airport is perfect. The shuttle bus picks up right outside the hotel's front door, costs £2.90 and takes a few minutes to get to terminal. Food for cheap evening meal is very good. Great value for money and ideal if you have early flights, gives you another couple of hours in bed before you fly.
Cons: Couldn't really fault the hotel to be honest.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Not a lot, lacked in almost every area
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable room quiet ambiance and friendly service
Good 6.7
Pros: Ideal location to catch an early flight from Luton Airport (5 minute walk).
Cons: Very limited food options, nothing healthy. (Buy food at the airport, there is a great variety.)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Early breakfast
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Good location!
Cons: -
Good 7.5
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: We didn't particularly like the breakfast but it had a variety
Good 6.7
Pros: It was a convenient place to rest for a few hours after a late return to the UK. Facilities were adequate. The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast was very basic
Good 7.9
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Was cold, the fan did not help much
Good 7.5
Pros: Proximity to Luton terminal
Cons: Lack of relaxing ambiance
Good 6.5
Pros: Advantages: +very good location +nice facilities +relatively spacious room
Cons: Disadvantages: -staff misinformed us about time needed to get to the airport and we were rushing out at 04:00 in the morning without having possibility of taking breakfast which we have paid for. Too much focus is paid to shuttle bus connection when in fact it takes 5 minutes to go to the airport. We were 2.5 hours before our flight when we could have had breakfast in easy and relaxed way. Bad information from reception staff!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A few mins walk to airport

Good 6.3
Cons: Curtains were basically see through and over looking a car park with bright lights if you don’t sleep well with light then this will ruin your stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My flight was delayed by seven hours so I ended up arriving, exhausted and stressed, at about 5am. I had to go to work in four hours, and the lovely woman at the reception desk gave me a beautiful room and later check out so that I could grab a few hours of sleep. The manager at breakfast made me feel completely comfortable even though I was a little late for breakfast, told me not to hurry and got me an extra coffee. Thank you so much to you all!
Cons: Nothing - highly recommended, so much more friendly than the usual airport hotels.
Good 7.9
Cons: Not a negative except if a touristy since not a central hotel but very convenient for Luton Airport parkway
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Location, excellent breakfast buffet, good food in evening offerings
Cons: Unable to call internationally and night staff had no clue about solving situation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The environment, cleanliness of the room and toilets, the facilities provided though there was no Referigerator.
Cons: The hotel could provide a car rental or have an understanding with car hire companies to enable guests who want a ride round town to take advantage of. Or at least have a link to such service providers. Absence of a Referigerator.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Towels were in excellent condition, the room had a lovely aroma, the entire internals were great as I expected, everything was spotlessly clean and well presented. And oh...the breakfast was perfect for the start of a hectic working day.
Cons: The car park was a bit of a walk to the reception and the parking fee was a bit higher than I would have liked.
Good 7.4
Pros: The hotel is in quite a good location for the airport although it did cost us £9 in an Uber to get to the airport the next morning. Continental breakfast was ok but we still had to eat at the airport as not much choice.
Cons: The bed was terrible, every time you eve moved an inch it made a terrible noise so unfortunately we did not sleep very well at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.3
Pros: The breakfast was a 10/10
Cons: night staff on reception left us waiting for entry into the hotel, until he had finished a phone call. Barman ignored us when we tried to order food and drinks and served a customer who had obviously been in the bar all night giving tips to the staff! Night staff were very poor to say the least!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Brilliant location only 3 minutes walk from Luton Parkway Railway Station, very handy when travelling on an early train the next day. Also brilliant that breakfast is served early!
Cons: Lack of Veggie options for the hot breakfast buffet,
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is good and the bed is comfortable. Facilities are very good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everythink was perfect. Good comfort and good price. Good location if You need to stay close to the airport. We arrived late in the evening, so we decided to stay one night close to the airport and on the next day go to the center of London.

Good 7.5
Pros: Location and quality
Cons: We had to make up the kids bed at 1.30am when we got in from our flight as it hadn’t been done. Nor was there towels for them
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A clean room with a comfy bed. The shower was great, no stiff shower taps.
Cons: The hotel ran out of sirloin steak.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Not a bad location.
Cons: Slow check in, even slower check out, food took a long time for curry and chips??? Quite expensive for the quality on offer. Shower in bathroom quite rubbish, no power like most modern hotels.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Very nice room with upmarket fittings.
Cons: Paper thin walls between rooms. You could hear everything going on. Very poor breakfast that doesn't do justice to the Hilton brand. Surprisingly the breakfast was no better in quality over a premier Inn. Premier Inn comes out on top in terms of quietness. Their doors don't slam.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent clean comfy room, excellent disabled facilities in room, very friendly helpful staff, lovely breakfast
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Easy check in. Adequate breakfast. Good rooms
Excellent 10.0
Pros: comfy rooms free parking
Cons: we enjoyed the stay
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It is clean, comfortable, the food was nice and the staff were polite and attentive.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.8
Cons: the fact that you cannot get fresh air in the bedrooms ,the only way of regulating the temperature is by using zircon
Okay 5.4
Pros: Room was clean and tidy
Cons: Staff weren’t very helpful, i rang in earlier to state that my partner will be checking in before me but booking was under my name but to accept him in. Staff didn’t accept him had to wait till i arrive, staff weren’t apologetic at all. Also had NO service in my room, wifi didn’t work well either

Good 6.7
Pros: The staff was friendly. That is the only good point about my visit
Cons: The mattresses on the bed the moment you turn you can hear the springs in it. So it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. Secondly, the pub closes at 01.00am and I understand about the noise and people about to leave. Some people stayed outside the pub on the benches and kept on with their conversations till 02.30am and that completely ruined mine and my wife's sleep.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Good location for Luton Airport, even if tucked away down narrow lanes. Nicely presented room. Quiet !
Cons: Inaccurate times given at check-in about kitchen times so had to go back into town as missed chef. Bathroom was ok, just VERY small.... Had to ask for continental style breakfast, Full English presented as default.
Excellent 9.6
Cons: Only one item. No chair in our room. As my wife suffers from back problems a chair as standard equipment would have been more practical than sitting on a bed. The hotel, while charming and excellent value for money is extremely hard to find if you don't know the area. My satnav did not recognise the post code, and we drove around the area for about an hour looking for it. We found it eventually, but the access is quite well hidden, with only one half concealed sign to the location of the "village". Leaving was easier as it was daytime, but access in the dark is very difficult.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place is SO lovely, charming, and sweet, and all of the staff so caring and very, very friendly! Loved staying here - was only for one night and wished I could have stayed longer!! Also, wonderful full English warm breakfast!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like! I loved everything!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Good location. Quiet and a classic English pub to boot.
Cons: Room and bathroom were a bit small, but adequate.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Set in a fantastic area 2 miles outside Luton. A lovely small village you would not think is that close to the airport. Food was excellent and room was clean and did the job for the night for me. Will stay again of traveling from Luton.
Good 7.9
Pros: Cosy and clean. Good location for the airport
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Great location for an early flight from Luton Airport. This was our 2nd stay and would use they again.
Good 7.9
Pros: Bar and food were very good. Bed and shower were quite basic but good value for money. Staff and owners very friendly
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Complimentary breakfast and a lovely room at a fair price.

Pros: Staff was so kind and helpful. Also, I needed to leave very early and I was not able to take the breakfast. But they gave me take away croissants and quite delicious coffee. This was really so nice and gave me joy. The room was clean and comfortable. The building from outside and the neighborhood were not so promising -I've chosen because it is close to Luton airport- but it exceeded my all expectations.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The location of the hotel is very convenient for me and I always find the staff really helpful and polite
Cons: It can be warm in the summer but going forward it is will be much cooler and comfortable. The drainage in the bath can be improved but it is not dirty.

Cons: There is really nothing one could complain about.

Cons: The heating did not work when I wanted it. The walls in the room could do with a fresh lick of paint. They could have warned me to expect some upheaval in the reception area due to refurbishment work but not a great issue.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Nice easy check in.Decent room. Decent wifi. Close to departure terminal
Cons: I didn't dislike anything. More choice with eating would have been nice

Good 6.7
Pros: Comfortable and quiet. Just what we needed.
Cons: Very few staff - all electronic check in etc.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, tidy, friendly staff. No better place to stay before your departure.
Cons: The menu for the lunch restaurant. Is quite expensive and not as diverse. Ended up walking to the airport for food.
Good 7.5
Pros: Excellent location for the airport. 10 min walk, if that! Good sound proof windows and comfortable bed. Tasty food too. Can’t complain about the £5 early riser breakfast.
Cons: Walked in and I stood at reception for a while before someone came to check me in. I also sat in the restaurant and nobody came to take my order or anything so I ordered at the bar, caused some mild confusion but was sorted in the end. Seemed short staffed on front of house.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Very reasonably priced making it great value. Close proximity to airport and situated opposite the bus stop. Rooms were basic but offered what we needed for the night.
Good 6.8
Pros: stuff nice and helpful, nice breakfast
Cons: not clean enough, towels felt like someone has alredy used them
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Good, clean and close to the airport. Quick check in and modern. Would recommend for airport stay. And also book a taxi from the hotel if you dont intend to walk.
Cons: Nothing.
Good 6.3
Pros: Location, easy check in, friendly staff.
Cons: I stay at the Ibis several times a year. Usually it's good but This stay was disappointing, the room smelt stale and the TV remote did not work, my room key took three goes each time before it worked.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean and comfortable. No real issues. Food in the restaurant was good, if not the fastest service. Self service breakfast was good. But this isn't a hotel for holidays; most people stop here for a night on their way to and from Luton Airport, and it is perfect for that.
Cons: Airplanes taking off are pretty noisy but it is so close to the airport there's not a lot to be done about it. A bit on the pricey side but you're paying for convenience since it is within walking distance of the airport.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very conveniently close to the airport. I've been there before and will be there again.
Cons: I don't like having pop music in my ears when I'm having breakfast, but that probably says more about me than anything else. The hotel is obviously geared for a younger generation.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Close to airport. Very friendly staff. Nice clean room
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, food, comfort, very near to airport. Brilliant stay.
Cons: Nothing.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The hotel was clean enough.
Cons: Stopped in this hotel before and the room was lovely. Our recent stay cost us more money however the room was much smaller, really pokey with an adjoining door. The walls paper thin!! Didn’t get a good nights sleep to say that we was up at 4am for an early flight.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: It does exactly what it says on the tin
Good 7.5
Pros: Clean rooms
Good 7.1
Pros: The price, good value for so close to airport
Cons: Was all ok
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Excellent, simple budget accommodation virtually on the airport, which was perfect for checking in for our very early flights. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: This is the second visit to the hotel during the last month and on both occasions, the hand basins in the rooms were blocked. On the most recent visit, it was blocked so badly that it rendered the basin largely unusable. I would have reported these issues but as we were leaving very early in the morning, we never saw anyone to report the problem to. The food and drink is a little on the expensive side.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: The room was cozy and had temperatyre control. There were reading lights above the beds and nice tv.
Cons: Nada.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: I felt the staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel at home. It was clean and very well organised.
Cons: I don't like the location very much but it is difficult to find a leafy location near an airport!
Okay 5.8
Pros: Pleasant staff. Easy to get to.
Cons: Having to pay for parking, no hairdryer, bar area poor.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: breakfast good,handy for airport.
Cons: a kettle for a cup of tea.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was perfect. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful.
Good 6.0
Pros: good location, ample parking
Cons: no kettle? paying for parking, mattress was a bit uncomfortable
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Pretty perfect for a one night stopover for the airport. Rooms are the size of a prison cell but it’s clean, beds are comfy and is close to the airport.
Cons: A bit of a hike up to the airport if you don’t want to pay for the shuttle.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: Staff
Cons: Room coffee
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The breakfast was nice, staff is helpful.
Cons: The only minus is that being on town centre, you will hear music until 3am.
Okay 4.2
Pros: The bed mattress
Cons: Staff ... uneducated and village past minded and low class people ... need to be trained or kill themselves
Excellent 9.6
Pros: as for the hotel itself, the staff at the hotel are very kind and attentive and friendly and are always ready to help. Your requests are answered quickly and does everything possible to make you feel comfortable and safe from the free parking if you arrive and you must warn about this in advance. The room has everything necessary also has all the amenities in order to feel a little Korolev because those amenities that provide This hotel, even in London, for this price can not provide you therefore Romney thank the staff because they really reacted very well to how I met
Cons: next to the hotel there are other clubs in the evenings there are fights screams and all kinds of showdowns of course it's not very good when you wake up due to the fact that it yells it must be very careful with the topic Where and how to spend time at night because the people in this city do not behave very adequately
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff are lovely, bit confusing first because got no reception so have to go to bar for booking in,breakfast lovely ,very at ease hotel.
Cons: Bed was a little hard for my liking but that is just my problem and could do with being able to open window a little more on the hottest day of the year but overall was really impressed.
Good 6.3
Cons: Waiting for breakfast every day 30 min!! Tragedy!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Price is excellent considering I booked on the day I wanted to stay as the wheelwrights cancelled my booking at 5pm! Very accommodating, food is really good and being above a pub certainly has its advantages ;) Breakfast in the morning was lovely and is included in the price! Room was spot on, bed was comfy and bathroom had everything you needed!
Good 7.1
Pros: Accessible to everything
Cons: The room was cold and the heater/radiator wasn’t working. Slept feeling cold the whole night. Fire/alarm goes off unexpectedly and can wake you up in the middle of the night.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. The landlord was very helpful and carried my bag to the room. The cask ales on the bar. Central location in Luton.
Cons: The waitress at breakfast did not ask me for my order when she brought my colleague's breakfast. I had to go and chase her to place my order.

Good 7.1
Pros: Customer service was great. Very professional and polite
Cons: A strange smell in the room. Moldy bathroom and extractor fans didn't work.
Good 7.5
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Beter bed needed. No breakfast available.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything & it has a 24 hour shop which is open 365 days per year & next door literally attached to the hotel which sells absolutely everything food wise.
Cons: my shower door needs an upgrade.
Good 6.3
Pros: An older gentleman helped me with changing my room, he was very helpful and very polite. The staff were so polite and well mannered the entire time I was there
Cons: I did have the cheapest room but forgive me if I still expect it to be clean. I had to change my first room because it smelt like damp and had one plug socket near the sink. But the room I had in exchange was much better. It wasn't as dirty but I can't say it was as clean as it should've been.
Okay 4.2
Pros: I have stayed her before and all was ok. Unfortunately this time my room had not been cleaned properly and I had the horrible experience of finding a used sanitary towel in the bathroom!! Very unpleasant! If that had not been cleaned what else had not been cleaned? Bad housekeeping! Reception staff were friendly but I will not recommend or ever stay here again!!!
Cons: The used sanitary towel left in the bathroom!
Good 7.9
Pros: The staff were lovely, very helpful and the bed was very comfortable
Cons: I couldn't sleep despite the bed being very comfortable as unfortunately there were a few people outside of the building who were talking loudly at 3.00am as if it was the middle of the day!! I discovered that there is an off license right next door that must be open practically all night, attracting very noisy people right outside my window in the middle of the night and making it impossible to sleep. My room was No.11 upstairs. The street outside of the hotel is also dirty with rubbish in the street and doesn't feel very safe at night.
Good 7.1
Pros: The young man on reception was great, very helpful
Cons: The room was very tiny with beds for 3 people but very little space for suitcases. Area is a bit rough.
Good 6.3
Pros: Handy with 24 hour reception, and easy connection to airport and railway. 11am checkout is better than the norm - 10am - and allows me to get some work done, if need be.
Cons: Location is a boisterous, so not ideal to be overlooking the road.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was fabulous! Very profesional and helpful - thank you so much! Great location, does the job for someone travelling in and out of Luton (10-15 mins away in taxi).
Cons: Loud room, very acoustic, people in rooms next door woke me up several times during the night.
