Las Vegas hotels in Summerlin

Cons: Some of the automatic charges are not fun to 'deal with': the automatic mini-bar charges were very troubling (before we got it sorted out); the resort fee itself seems unclear/not value-driven; the resort fee didn't get me access to the locker room w/hot tub... I would not call this a "spa" worth an additional $25/day.

Cons: There were a lot of hidden fees that we weren't anticipating. We were informed upon check-in that there was a mandatory resort fee of $25 (that is really just over $28 after taxes) It apparently covers use of the gym, etc. but it was a waste for us since we never had time to use those facilities. The fee really should automatically be included in the cost of the room upon booking- especially if it's mandatory- not when your checking in. OR, it should be discounted upon arrival for those who don't plan to use the gym or get their shoes shined. I could understand paying this fee in the summer time when using the pool, etc. but not during winter. Upon arrival we requested that the E tray be removed (a tray which contains snacks & water that you will be charged after 45 seconds regardless if you consume the item of not) because we had our 4 year old with us & didn't want the stress of telling him not to touch anything on it. The tray was removed promptly and the fridge locked however guest services failed to disclose there was a $24 fee for the removal of items and didn't find out until check out. At first we were told by someone at the front desk that the beverage manager has to give authorization to remove it and they would call us but spoke with another front desk personnel and the fee was removed. Although we are grateful it was removed, it really ruins your experience when you have to deal with small annoyances unexpected fees such as that. Despite the above rant, it really is a nice location & resort. One of the better places to stay if you have kids.

Cons: More outdated than I expected. Just came from 4 nights at Venetian; both hotels rated 5 stars, Red Rock hotel was nowhere comparable.

Cons: No coffee maker in the room. Fridge was not available for our use. Was filled with items for purchase. Mini bar items are on a sensor and if lifted for more than 45 seconds, you are charged for the item. This was not explained to us when we checked in.

Cons: Lighting in bathroom is a little dark, entry door was a little warped, kind of surprised that there are not more convenient charging stations/outlets for electronic devices. All of the above are minor inconveniences. This is a GREAT property!

Cons: Hidden $30+ resort fee that kayak didn't disclose clearly and wasn't reflected in the price total

Cons: Bathroom tiles / grout dirty

Cons: Staff was horrible and the security was very unprofessional and rude. I do not think I will ever stay there again

Cons: Next time Red Rock needs to work harder to accommodate or compensate the customer if the room requested was given to another customer. Not happy this time around.

Cons: That the pool was not open all year long

Cons: Banquet food was terrible. Coffee shop was ok

Cons: Room rates to high. Resort fees to high. Main pool was cloudy.

Cons: Wifi for a fee, expensive daily resort fees

Cons: Checking into hotel is confusing where to park the car. It says valet in front of hotel but you are expected to park there and go check in. I think it’s so easy to just have a sign that says, hotel checking parking here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cons: Whirlpool bathtub looked either dirty or old, so did not use it. Mandatory resort fee.

Cons: the inside restaurants the walk through the casino I get lost, the first time I made a walk through the hotel

Cons: The New Year's Celebration was not very lively nor organized. There could have been more and better free entertainment. The bars are dated and not very appealing given the reputation of the Marriott corporation. I am a frequent guest at the Marriott properties and I was disappointed.
