Lovely place, but a bit pricey
View at breakfast, location, beautiful gardens, the lake, the spa, the whole hotel is very classy and well decorated
Would've been nice to have a view of the lake for 240 euros, we were facing the tennis courts and didn't have a balcony, having to wait in line to order eggs, the hot food on the buffet didn't taste great, room and bathroom were small, front desk seemed short staffed for a Saturday
The scenery was fabulous and the staff was most helpful. As you enter the hotel, the view took my breathe away. We live on a mountain lake in Lake Arrowhead, California, so we were instantly at home. thanks for a great stay.
My only problem was the lack of transportation into town. It was such a short distance, yet the taxis still charged $25 euros for a round trip and that is exorbitant. The hotel should have a shuttle for those who do not have a car. This situation would actually prevent us from staying again as we would stay in town to have more access to activities.
The Spa Facilities
The room needed updating
Spa, bar and restaurant facilities
service at the restaurant la brasserie
The spa was excellent, very relaxing and the scenery was superb.
The only thing i thought was the price of the restaurant was a little expensive.
Gorgeous hotel, fantastic pool area, lovely staff, glorious location.
Restaurant, for both breakfast and dinner, wasn't really a 5 star experience, although the prices were.
the hotel decor, finish and ambience is great, very relaxing, the staff are very professional, accomodating and helpful. we will definately come back
nothing
The staff went out of there way for us. Everyone was so friendly and accomodating.
There was a bit of refurbishment still going on however the hotel did compensate us by upgrading our rooms and were very helpful in every way.
The updated brasserie was very nice & had a wide range of choice & reasonably priced to suit all tastes.
The hotle has construction work going on at the back of the hotel & the pool facilities were still under construction even though it mentioned in the website that they have both an indoor & outdoor pool. This is false advertising.
Very relaxing
Rooms were comfortable
The web site indicated that there was a a spa centre and leisure facilities available. The fact was that these would not be open until mid June and I felt that I was misled.. In addition the room that I was allocated was overlooking a building site and I was awaken by the noise at 8 o'clock in the morning by the builders. Furthermore a complaint was made to the manager .
