Pros: The entire holiday was amazing, all the staff were so kind and helpful. From Grace checking us in on arrival, to Gilbert the bellboy that was kind and funny to Sunjit the life guard and everyone in between were amazing. The breakfast was great, the Club Rotana Lounge was fantastic, even the gym was brilliant. And the pool and the view were WOW!!!
Cons: I genuinely cannot say one thing that could have made my stay better at Albandar Rotana. If I had to say one thing it would be I prefer softer pillows but that is me clutching at straws and that is personal preference, and saying that my wife actually preferred the slightly firmer pillows.

Pros: Lovely room with all you needed, excellent bed, things seemed in the right place. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast is maybe that you would expect from a first class hotel with six stars. The staff throughout very friendly and helpful without imposing themselves.
Cons: In the room I would have wished for a coffee-machine that was more easy to use than the current model. I did not manage to make it work :-(

Pros: The 2-bedroom apartment has a great layout with each bedroom at separate ends with the kitchen, tv room and a bathroom separating them. The kitchen had all the utensils and supplies to make simple meals and easy to tidy up afterwards. The beds were clean just the right amount of softness/firmness. The living area and front bedroom had lots of light. Of special note, I had to discuss a serious issue with the manager. He was very interested and made great effort in understanding my issue at hand. After asking me to sit with him, he asked lots of detailed questions and took copious notes. He decided to investigate further and said he would follow up with me. And he did within an hour. He gathered a lot of information which explained a lot about my issue. This provided me a wider perspective leaving me satisfied with the incident. I must say he was the most responsive and diligent hotel manager I have ever known. For this reason, i will probably stay at Savoy Suites again
Cons: There was a slight odor in the halls which can be easily remedied with some room deodorizer.

Pros: There was a shallow pool that was great for my 2 year old. Room service wasn't bad either.
Cons: Multiple members of the staff refused to rinse out my son's sippy cup, the first where the staff in the restaurant telling me to go to room service, then the front desk making excuses about how they couldn't do it. I did make a complaint with the manager who said he spoke to the staff and it was unacceptable, but it could all be lip service.

Pros: The hotel is situated in the heart of Al Rigga with plenty on the doorstep which I much appreciated having spent time in other hotels where there is little within walking distance, The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed while the staff were unfailingly polite. The fact the hotel is smaller than the megahotels which dot Dubai makes for a much more friendly stay than the typical impersonal and rather sterile experience

Pros: Great Value. Loved the newly refurbished pool. Lots of workout equipment. Big clean, nicely furnished rooms. The buffet breakfast is worth including in the room rate. There were many choices with some variance. The staff was attentive all around. Our room was cleaned each day while we were at breakfast. Decor is pleasing to the eye. Very quiet and got the best night sleep in a long while. Close to Union and AL Rigga Metro stops so easy to and from airport. Amazing Value.

Cons: Have to pay additional government tax per day once you get there. Extra $3 per day. But can't really change that.
