When reserving a car I pass on all electric vehicles. Chose the Manager's choice thinking I would get a gas vehicle the type model at Hertz's discretion. How wrong was I? They said they selected ban electric car eeven as I passed on all electric vehicles they had offered and at a cheeper price then I was offered on their Manager's,s choice. We never accepted the car and the credit card company refunded all charges associated with Hertz . Be forwarded when renting any car with this company

The car (VW Taos) was fairly comfortable to ride on the interstate and city, space and adequate gas mileage. Multiple warnings of oil level being too high became concerning but I was too do anything about it. Check in and check out process was normal.

I had to travel 30 miles to pick up the car. After the $65 cab ride, I got to the Hertz counter to find they close at 2. I then had to travel another 10 miles to a different Hertz. The car was smaller than the SUV I expected and they could do nothing about it. Returning the car was also a total hassle.

I got to my reservation time and there was maybe 12-15 people in line with two workers in the front. I stood in line for over 2 hours. Not once did the employees apologize. Maybe 3-5 people left the line to enterprise and was in line less than 15 minutes. Myself after the 2 hours past my reservation time, one worker just grabs her stuff and just says “someone will be with you”. Waiting for the one desk employee for around 20 minutes. I make it to the counter to find out that budget did not have the car I reserved. I left the counter and walked to enterprise. I will never go back to budget.

Horrible. Wasn’t clear in the reservation that we’d get an electric car. Was only charged 77% when we got it. Can was smelling of smoke and had scratches all over the place. Chip in the window. Had to park it and get a software update for 1 1/2 hours in order for it to charge. Then had it charge for 12 hours k my to get 80% charge . Aweful. I will never rent and electric car again, and will avoid dollar/thrifty/hertz whenever possible. If they try to stick my with any damage on this car I will see them in court.

I had to wait to give my keys to someone for drop off and let them know I had a full tank. I think they could do a more automated drop off.

The pickup was a pretty horrible experience. The person checked me in and I paid, which took about 20 minutes. Then they realized that they had checked me in as the wrong person. Then voiding this was difficult and the system did. Not want to check me in as it thought I had a car already. Had to wait for the manager. We were supposed to get a small car but we got a Chevy Silverado that smelled like cigarettes. In all, not great.

Ticket counter was very professional and didn't push insurance on me. They recognized my status and gave me a nice upgrade, even though I booked through kayak

car was a corolla minute at 55-60 car was shaking Passenger seat was a vibrating worlwind. Stopped to see if a tire was loose??? Bad alinement Basically a crappy uncomfortable 2 hour ride.. Hey how about spilt difference and refund in good faith.

Cons:

The staff arrived late to open and had to set up before helping customers. Should be there early to set up before opening. Ordered full sz suv but got small kia that did not fit the 7 paasengers and 4 luggage that was expected.

They close 5 pm and I don’t have that info . I called them no answer so I called Uber and then pickup my car next day . Spent lots of time and money for Uber.

I had to worst experience with this transaction. I entered the dates for my rental incorrectly. I needed Thursday to Sunday. I made a mistake and entered Friday to Sunday. I realized it right away and tried to contact you. Of course there was no way to contact you. Since you book through PriceLine I finally got in touch with them. They were NO help at all. I simply wanted to add one more day to my rental. I wanted to PAY MORE MONEY to add one more day and they would not help me at all. Their only optioins were to cancel and pay a cancellation fee of $49 or keep the rental, create a new booking for the one day, pick up that car, bring that car back the next day and pick up the other car. Absolutely ridiculous! I ended up just cancelling. And I will never use your service again. I'd rather pay more than go through this again.
