We waited over 30 minutes for someone to get to the counter. Located away from airport in a sketchy hotel lobby. Car received was smaller than we paid for but “all they had”. Was given a receipt at counter with additional charges separate from what we p as I’d online! Will not rent this way again. Hidden fees. Ended up not being a savings.

A nightmare! I will be filing a formal complaint. I want my money refunded. When I called to inquire about picking up my rental car, the business was closed, nobody answered. It was Sunday at 6pm. Out of frustration, I called a few times and left a message. I asked where my car was. I had no alternative but to rent a car at another car rental. I received a text one hour later from American Car Rental, asking if I received my car, good grief, really? This experience was dreadful and highly unprofessional.
