People carrier

They booked me to the wrong location (22 miles away from my chosen location), a different location than mentioned on the kayak app, and cleaned the car after I arrived for pickup, and still charged me the same price when I only booked the car for 24 hours and had it for 3 hours less due to the location and rebooking issues.

This Hertz franchise closes at 4 p.m on weekdays. My reservation was made for 4p. You can imagine my surprise when arriving at 410p and finding that they were closed!

Pros:

Staff at pickup was helpful and friendly. Staff at dropoff were really helpful - he gave me a heads up about a pet cleaning fee when he saw dog hair in the back. He gave me the chance to vacuum and clean to avoid the fee. Dropoff was really quick. The pre-paid gas was a good deal.

Cons:

The car smelled like tobacco and the backseat had some crumbs. It was a little pricier than expected.
