Did not receive the car. Showed up to a building full of upset people, some waiting as long as 2 hours for a vehicle to show up. Spent $100 in taxi fees trying to round up a car. Went to Avis and got one, smooth transaction! Doubt I will use Hertz again.

There are a list of things that were terrible about the experience. 1. took the shuttle to the Hertz rental location at the LV airport - only to be told the location was a $45 cab ride away. 2. 30 minute cab ride only to find a poorly manned office full of people some of whom had been waiting over an hour. Kids screaming, luggage everywhere. 3. 45 minutes later, with almost no movement in the line and the person for Hertz instead of helping us was still stopping to take more reservations on the phone. 4. My wife decided to walk next door to Enterprise which had a wonderful organized office and 10 minutes later we were finally able to start our vacation of Bryce Canyon and Zion Nat'l Park. 5. When we told the Enterprise people about our experience at the Hertz office next door they said it happen everyday with people waiting hours to get their rental cars and when they did get their cars it was either in bad shape or different than what they had booked. Summary - terrible experience and had to go elsewhere to rent a car.

Didn’t have a car. The manager was arrogant and made it seem like it was my fault since I made the reservation a day before. However, a young lady working there found me a car and got me a ride to a different location. Kudos to her but the manager was down right rude. Whole ordeal took several hours and was very frustrating.

Hertz needs to acquire more rental cars immediately. The available supply was inadequate, and only by some miracle, was I able to get my rental car. The drop off instructions and communication was a complete disaster, and they need to get organized. I am unimpressed by Hertz and would not recommend renting with them.

Absolutely horrendous vehicle. Poorly maintained. Steering wheel or left front tire rubbed when turning and there was a terrible rattle. Had a flat tire and tire was so bald it couldn’t be repaired and had to be replaced. Tire place was shocked the vehicle was allowed on the road with such bald tires. Shocking that Budget allowed this vehicle to be rented out in such poor condition. Terrifying to drive.

The vehicle was poorly maintained. The steering wheel or left front tire rubbed when turning and there was a terrible rattle. Had a flat tire and the tire was irreparable so had to be replaced. Rear tires were completely bald and tire place was shocked the vehicle was even on the road. Very unsafe and shocking that Budget allowed the vehicle to be on the road.

Although I had 4 reservations, they did not have but 1 van. I even verified with the location the day before to confirm the vans were there

The car itself was fine and ran great. I was told since I picked up the vehicle 2 hours later than the reservation was for the price doubled. Obviously, there is no were online it states that. After calling into customer service and I was very blessed I was able to speak with a great supervisor to clear everything up. Unfortunately, with this experience and attitude from some of the associates working there I will never be back. One of the associates asked me what was in my bag since I had a bag with all my essentials from my car like car insurance papers, and things like that.

The car was fine. The rate was fine.

Cons:

The website was not clear that the location for pick-up was far from the airport! Make this more clear. I had to pay a days rental fee to get to the pick up site. Absurd.

Kayak made a reservation 40 miles from LV airport without any notice. Enterprise has many offices and will not honor reservations made by Kayak at LV airport without MAJOR increase in price. We BEGGED for a car but was told because KAYAK made the reservation that we MUST get our car at the office KAYAK made the reservation in. BEWARE OF MAKING RESERVATIONS WITH ENTERPRISE THROUGH KAYAK.

Not good! After checking to make sure they had a shuttle from the airport, they failed to mention that they close at 4 PM. My flight didn't arrive until 6 PM. I proceeded to the Airport Rental Center AVIS counter and was told that they do not honor offsite contracts even though they are the same company. I rented a vehicle from them as I need to get to my final destination, however, the price went from $58.00 to $285.00.

The car got us to our destination

Cons:

Took shuttle from airport to off site Avis rental and told we were at the wrong Avis. Took a taxi to the next Avis which took another 40 min and $55. Gave us the wrong car. Retuned car next day - paper work was entirely wrong.
