Falésia Hotel - Adults Only

Quiet and peaceful just as we would expect from an adults only retreat. Staff were friendly yet professional. The gardens were beautiful and the pool and pool area really nice.

WiFi was excellent inside the hotel however didn't work so well if at all around the pool area/palm bar. Future plans may include some gym equipment.

Great welcome. Good sized, well appointed room. Great choice at breakfast with freshly squeezed juice, eggs cooked to order and a very comprehensive choice of hot and cold items. Dinner equally good. Good sized pool and lovely, well tended gardens. Drinks were reasonably priced for a hotel. Nice acknowledgement by the hotel of our celebration visit. The walk to the beach via the Pine Cliffs Resort next door is worth doing. There's a complimentary bus to the beach too. There's a paid bus to Albufiera centre (3 euros each way) though it's infrequent and we preferred the area around the hotel. Taxi to Abufeira around 12 euros each way. Enjoyed the dolphin and caves boat trip from Albufeira Marina. We booked on the day though probably best to book in advance - we took a 2.5 hours trip, opting for a bigger boat (to lessen the chance of sea sickness). We went with Xplorer at 35 euros each and saw dolphins!

The reserving of sunbeds - one guest told us repeat visitors are quite territorial. A deposit has to be paid for towels which they encourage guests to keep for 2 days. The entertainment isn't for everyone but you can take it or leave it.

Clean, great staff and service. Very good ambiance. It was my birthday and they upgraded us to a suite and brought us a champagne! Very good pool.
