I’m not the reviewing type of person but I just had to do it for this hotel. This is our third time staying at Esplanade, and it pleasantly surprised us every time! The cleanliness, the food, the staff and the facilities are all just superb! Thank you for a very comfortable stay and I look forward to staying again soon.
I’m a believer that there is always room for improvement, but in this instance I honestly can’t think of anything I didn’t like, maybe the late night food menu could have more options, some Sandwiches perhaps?

Booked this hotel because of the location and lower cost, was surprised to find it was one of the top luxurious hotels in Zagreb. The hotel was located right near the heart of the city and in walking distance to most landmarks. Rooms were nice and spacious with a great bathtub in the bathroom. Staff were very nice and attentive.
Hotel charged 24 Euros for breakfast, but we opted out as there are many bakeries and cafes close by where you can get a nice breakfast for for 2-3 euros.

Fantastic Hotel / Rock-Hard Bed
The hotel was georgeous and in an incredible location. Wonderful bar and lobby, withbeautiful rooms.
The king bed was amazingly hard, we actually checked to see if it wasn't a box spring.

staff at the reception was not very friendly and the head concierge was so, so. Our luggage was delayed and did not arrive the same time as we did and concierge was giving us wrong information regarding the delivery of the luggage. He called the airport and told us that the luggage is on the way to the hotel and will arrive in half an hour. one hour later it was still not delivered, then ho told us it will be fifteen minutes. After half an hour he said that luggage is on the way to our other destination-3 hours away. We wasted half a day waiting and now new information. We left and when we arrived in our hotel Monte Mulini in Rovinje, we were told that the luggage did not arrive and that in never was delivered to Zagreb airport. Concierge at such an reputable hotel as yours should never mislead guests and be sure what is he conveying IS the correct information. We lost lot of time of our precious time in Zagreb waiting around.
