Public areas need upgrades and cleaning
Exceptional
Rooms were big. Views were very pretty and hotel staff (specifically Shay and Adi at reception) were super kind and helpful.
Great location, old vibe
Perfect location, nice staff, reasonable price
Old hotel, low maintenance, bad breakfast, noise from the road
Great stuff and hotel
Clean and very beautiful view
Disappointing
Location
I asked for one bed.i got 2 small beds. Not comfortable. The food was very bad .and the room service person .is unprofessional.
Very good

I wish I could answer
I don't know where to begin , besides the security guard who somehow turned into responsible manager everything was terrible. 1. Parking - my wife is 8.5 mths pregnant, apparently there is paid parking however it was full despite corona , hotel was unwilling to even attempt to try and help us and we walked over 1km with bags . Unfortunately this is the least of what was to come 2. Cleanliness and much needed renovation, approaching the hotel from afar you can see it's deteriation from outside , upon arrival you can see the needed renovation from the lobby.. onto the rooms ( brace yourselves) keep in mind this was supposed to be out last weekend getaway before the baby arrives ... We get to the room which apparently was a complimentary upgrade , the room looks like it's been through a tornado the walls were peeling the floors has stains and actual dirt on it or crumbs , there was a hair very visible to the eye on the bed , the bathroom was dirty you could see hair on the 🚽 ! We immediately phoned reception , I met the nice security guard downstairs who escorted us to see the suite on the house , we arrive to the room , carpets filthy outside in the hallway , dirty food plates on the floor as they've been there for some time , we enter the room , also badly outdated , cracks in the walls , then the best part. Pubic hairs inside the toilet ! And yes the manager/security guard was able to visually see it and confirm it . He was speechless as we're we . 3. Refund, not only was this supposed to be a 4.5/5 ⭐ hotel , its was overpriced compared to others . And I'm still waiting for my refund which they couldn't process on site this was a week ago ! 4. Follow up customer service , despite leaving my number and asking for a much needed follow up , haven't heard a word ! What a terrible joke of an experience . Absolutely speeches. 5.
Superb location and staff
Very unique design, old Tel Aviv photos, excellent view
A little bit hard to reach room service but in covid-19 conditions, probably it is completely normal
Very poor
Very bad service, especially during the Corona period we arrive, unclean, sticky rooms, didn’t respect the guests
Good
No free parking
Disappointing
The mattresses were very comfortable.
I just spent 2 days at this hotel and it was more than disappointing. The breakfast (Covid Style) was an embarrassment and reminded me more of a hospital breakfast than a 5 star hotel. There was a pile of hair in the shower (not mine!) And although they were offering room service instead of dining in the dining room, there was no menu to choose from and it was very difficult to get room service on the phone, it kept switching over to voice mail after a few rings. All in All, this hotel deserves a 3 to 4 star rating, not even close to 5 stars.
Dirty, no service
It's near the beach
We got the room and it was dirty. We found dirty diapers on the floor. And blood in the sheets in one of the beds. Phone line didn't worked. Balcony door didn't closed completely so the noise was bad. We went to front desk to say all this and they sent someone to take the diapers and stuff but they didn't even apologize for this.. In times of corona they didn't even clean the room!!! I'm never going back there you pay 5 star price and get may be 1star service.
Good location
Nice property, clean, friendly super location Shocked that we were charged for room service to have ice delivered in the middle of lockdown and no restaurant service available that we could pick it up ourselves! Shooting fish in a barrel @10 shekels per delivery. A bit rich to be fair. I also emailed the property 3 times to enquire about meal services prior to our arrival and I didn’t get a response from them at all. So I wouldn’t trust emailing if your looking for anything. Lots of noise on our floor at 2 am on our last night that keeps us awake which was pretty frustrating. Regards Gráinne
As per above
Very nice hotel, but a...
The room was superb and the bed was so comfortable!!
The swimming pool contains sea(!!!) water... say what?!!?! If I knew it in advance I won't choose this hotel - this is a HUGE minus!!
enjoyed and hope to return!
Best location, happy staff!! Loved the stay!
Fantastic location but needs renovating
I love the location of the hotel, right by one of the nicest stretches of beach in Tel Aviv. The hotel lobby is inviting, with a gorgeous view, stylish furnishings and some interesting pieces of art. I also like that on the lower floors there are some nice corners to sit. The staff in the breakfast room were particularly nice.
Other than the lobby, the hotel is in dire need of major renovation. The Aircon in the bedroom was so noisy it was a serious nuisance both when trying to converse, watch tv and when trying to sleep. It did, at least, cool the room. The beds were comfortable and there was a fresh coat of paint on the room, but everything else was showing wear - the bathroom (which was much smaller than expected for an executive room), the balcony - which is tiny, totally outdated and only had two chairs - no table. The mini bar was empty and I’m not sure it would have worked anyway as the door didn’t close well. There was a kettle and some sachets of coffee and tea, but I’d expect a coffee machine and capsules in this price bracket. It’s also a shame that there’s only the main restaurant and no chef’s restaurant or more romantic restaurant on site.
Poor
Locations
Over crowded no room by the pool to relax place dirty
More like a glorified 3*...
Staff (when available) was friendly and competent. COVID guidelines were observed. Wifi worked well enough. Good variety at breakfast. Great views from the 12th floor. Air conditioning in the room handled the heat wave well.
Hotel is understaffed and is therefore unable to provide basic service to guests, such as answering the phone. Furniture is dated and inadequate. Breakfast food was on the cheap side, with quantity taking precedence over quality.
Very good
Clean room, perfect view, very good breakfast (even for Corona time), perfect location.
Pleasant
Location is excellent, customer service manager (?) Rona was also very helpful
The pillowcases came stained, it was very difficult reaching the staff by phone, we asked for a bottle opener and glasses, got only opener. The breakfast was very disappointing
I didn’t enjoyed Not clean very old
I didn’t enjoyed Not clean very old
1. As soon as we requested a room change they were accommodating and the new room had a beautiful sea view from the room. 2. The lobby is beautiful but because of Corona we spent minimal time there. 3. Nice robes, slippers and towels. Comfortable bed and pillows. 4. There was a package with masks, alcohol wipes and alcogel in the room for our use.
1. The room they originally gave us that was ocean view required going on to the porch and straining to see the ocean. It was more a view of the garbage dump by the Crown Plaza than the sea. 2. I think during these days of Corona virus soft soap in a pump bottle should be in the bathroom for frequent handwashing, not a bar of soap. 3. Also plastic cups would have been appreciated for coffee and water. 4. There is not enough parking for guests and we had to find a lot near the hotel which cost extra. 5. The pool seemed to not be very clean so we didn't get to enjoy that.
Would not recommend. First and last time. Overall- terrible!
Old, run down, terrible service.
The Hotel was well arranged for the Corona time: Not crowded, a filling of Cleanliness. Everywhere you could find Alcogel for your use. And the best was the Breakfast: A buffet- but everything in single portions: The bread rolls packaged in paper bags, salad prepared in front of you on small plates, and so on. The stuff was very welcoming: I would like to point out one waiter, who served us in the "Tnuva" loby with a lot of special care for us. He also served at breakfast - the coffee corner, and was specially caring. Please give him our thanks!
The parking.. I could not park in the small Hotel parking, so it cost me some money outside...
Clean, good location, mostly friendly stuff. Free let check out. View is great! The pool is with salt water.
We arrived with a car. Since we didn't know if there was hotel parking or not I went off the car to ask. The check in guy was impatient as I was saying let us in the parking first so we will not stand in the middle of the road . Parking costs 50 shekels a day!!!!! It means the for one night you pay 100! Very very expensive and disappointing. The first room we got had dirty sheets so we asked to move to another room. The other room's TV was not working! After it got fixed everything was ok. The pool area is very nice and clean , the room was clean but outdated a bit. No milk for coffee in the minibar.
Location is amazing The staff was nice The view from the room
The room was clean and nice, but the balcony very old and need maintenance. The breakfast was lame, there was no milk for the coffee (basic) even though we called to aks, it was not a breakfast worth 65NIS at all. The 3rd bed was hard like wood and my friend heart her back slipping on it.

Breakfast was nice with a lot of choice. The room was perfect.
Good to know, no swimming pool during the low season so no outdoor area belonging to the hotel.
Staff very efficient Hotel very clean and well kept
Great location good food great staff
Very clean comfortable Location great Staff very friendly and professional Hotel well maintained
Although non smoking hotel there were guests smoking on the balconies
Great location, comfortable rooms, and business center at 17th floor
Gym is too small, and limited. Also working hours are not designed people who do business travel in mind. They are 9am to 9pm
Amazing breakfast, extremely good food! Really nice view of the seaside.
Poor wifi connection in the room. For surfing and sending e-mails I had to go to the lobby, really challenging to catch a stable connection in the room. Although I complained 4 times, the issue was not solved. The window in my room could not close properly and it had to be repaired after the first night.
Perfect location, very nice sea view, good breakfast and we had good cleaning staff. Wonderful bed and bed linen.
Old hotel, you’ll feel it, but very nice.
Good breakfast. Nice open terrace with sea view
The hotel was over crowded and noisy. we had dinner sitting less than 10 centimeters from another couple. The beds are too soft and not comfortable. rooms are old and need refurbishing. No bath in room, only shower
Good location Super breakfast
The bathroom would need to be renovated The a/c was pretty noisy
Friendly staff, amazing location
Worn our old rooms desperately need refurbishing
It’s great location
Although I paid for a higher class room with a sea view, even at 17 floor( hotel has 18) the noise from the underpass next door was very loud even with the doors shut. Guess I could have moved rooms but not sure it would have made any difference.
The hotel was very clean and perfectly situated on the Mediterranean. Beach access was right off the back of the property, and walking was a delight. We LOVED the complimentary chocolates, wine, and hotel-branded slippers!
Parking was an issue. Even though we were registered guests at the hotel, there was no parking available onsite. We had to use a parking garage on the other side of the street that cost $30USD for the one night of our stay.
Great spread and the view was exceptional. The restaurant was very spacious and service was very good.
Location
Windows were not sealed and wind was howling at night. Couldn’t sleep well.
Nice location,clean,good value for money
The service (or lack of service)at breakfast, coffee etc.
It was clean and comfortable with an excellent location
Hotel was old fashioned and could do with an refurbishment. Doors all rattled in the wind which wasnt great having a 3 year old and trying to get them to sleep through the night.
The property is nice located.
Unfortunately we will not have a good memories from this hotel. Firstly when we checked in lady from the reception made a mistake and charged us twice for our stay... secondly we booked ‘luxury room with sea view’ but unfortunately we get random room with street view :( of course we asked for change but we get different room next day. Last but not least when we checked out we realized that they charged us for the Tax and they shouldn’t- lady from the reception told us that we will receive our money for the next day - we are still waiting for this refund...
The breakfast was amazing! The staff at the front desk were accomodating.
The rooms were a little tired.
Good
the reception servic
Location was great as just next to the beach
1) Staff tried to be friendly but unfortunately seem not trained, unorganized and unprofessional in several occasions > checking, breakfast, checkout 2) when we checked in we were asked to pay the full amount plus deposit / we stayed 6 nights therefore quite a bit of money even before we had the chance to see the room 3) we booked a room with sea view and were very much disappointed as the sea view was only given when on the balcony and leaning out 4) overall quite old hotel which has not been touched up since a while
The location in front of the beach and the helpful staff
I would recommend to serve more fresh fruits for breakfast
Wow! The view is amazing! Great location
The location was good and if you like the sea and beach, I am sure it would be very convenient in the summer.
We ordered and paid for a "deluxe triple room for 3 adults". The room only had one bed and then a sofa. The room should not have been advertised for 3 adults but more for a family (of which there were family rooms which were identical). Breakfast was not good.
Staff is very much service oriented, location is perfect and the view is brilliant. Breakfast is very good, rich and many staff members to accommodate any need should it rise. The spa staff is VERY professional and knowledgeable. The entire area of the promenade and the vicinity it stared with bikes and electric scooter rentals to rent via an application on your mobile (after registration), very convenient and affordable.
Access to the hotel from the northern side is not all that pleasant to the eye, and on the stairs (short way) to the promenade there is an awful smell probably left by drunks at night. The direct access to the beach is only open during the pool season and not all along the year. Very hard to find cabs on high demand times like weekend's nights.
Views of Beach Great breakfast
No cocktail bar Unfriendly staff Old worn out rooms Charged $200 for dinner I didn’t have but told this happens all the time
Location
Building needs to be entirely stripped and refurbished. Hotel is rather worn-out.
The hotel in in an excellent location just by the beach. The breakfast is great rich and served for quite long time. The view was great from our room. The room was clean.
The swimming pool was not operating and was looking very old. The bathroom was very small. The rooms are old, although clean and well maintained.
Location on the beach, excellent breakfast at the buffet, staff very friendly and well organized to answer special requests ( shopping area, transportation to the airport, etc), near good places to eat.
The rooms are very small for the price and so is the balcony...I understand this is not the US or Canada but still...; also the traffic is very heavy and the location of the room near the main street is far from ideal
Very clean inside , beautiful view of the sea and amazing food and staff
excelent room service
personell don’t speak english
When I got to the room the toilet was full with shut and pee and the only thing they did is changed the room, a manager couldn’t step to apologize and I would expect a small gesture to be sent to the room just for the feeling that they care which didn’t happen, the toilet itself in my room could barely flush as well
Location is lovely.
Very old hotel but they pass it off as a 1930’s theme yet it’s just an old dated bulging and the rooms are dated. Staff very lazy and rude. Far better to stay in another hotel.
The location.
Old furniture, old appliances, windows not closing properly, noisy room. Extremely expensive for the comfort and quality it offers.
The location is fantastic and I was very impressed with the quality of the beach and bath towels (offered daily) as well as the plentifulness of toiletries (excellent quality). There was a huge and elaborate choice at breakfast, but I found that there was a sparseness of simple things like a selection of jams (there was only one kind of jam on offer and when I asked for an alternative, they were quite perplexed). There was direct access to the beach. The staff were polite, smiley and very young, relaxed but friendly and helpful.
Just a small bone to pick around the lack of choice of jams/marmalade. All else was absolutely spot-on!
The manager of reception - Elena was very helpful and efficient. Also Azam was. Very kind, polite and helpful
Kind and efficient service
A young woman from the desk was very very helpful we discovered that my payment was one hour earlier than my arrival because of time difference i liked the atmosphere in the dinner room it is a very good hotel with a beautiful bar seaaview
They advertise with swimming pool but did not tell it was closed since today the man who threw me out was hastile to me and i was removed people smoked on the beautifuln terrace which is a scandal during breakfast really verry very bad no food after 10npm at the bar even no bread with buttet
I had an excellent and relaxing time at this Hotel at the end of my travels. Always met by a smile from staff. Excellent location for getting out and about or just to the beach.
No negatives
Nice stuff. Beautiful view. Great location.i e
The room need a renovation The bathroom very small and look very bad. The dining room so busy and loud. The food looked good but tasteless You need to stand at a line For your coffee 20 minutes .You can hear every thing that hapend at the next room
Everything was great
Perfect as usual
The staff at reception were incredibly welcoming at all times, as well as in general. I am afraid I forgot the name of the lady at reception that both welcomed us on arrival and wished us farewell on departure too, she had dark hair and wore glasses, she was absolutely fantastic. Hotel in great location.
Hotel looks a bit dated, the mini bar/fridge in the room was empty aside from an old tub of yogurt and was dirty with what seemed rotten milk inside it. In almost 2 weeks (11 nights) we stayed there the bed linen was not changed once. Breakfast buffet was ok, although could use some more variety of fresh fruit rather than mostly canned fruits perhaps.
The location of the hotel is really nice. First line to the beach, what more could you ask for? As with almost all Israeli hotels, the lobby is really well done and also the lounge and cafe were very nice.
When we entered our first room, lightning almost hit us. For the price of more than 300 € per night for 2 adults and one child, a 30 year old room was presented to us. The furniture was so battered and yellowed that bed&breakfast and even hostels look better than this hotel. Even the screws on the desk chair were rusted ... maybe it should be a vintage look ??? For 100 € extra charge per night we moved into a suite. The furniture was a little bit fresher, which was pleasant. However, we noticed an unpleasant perfume smell on the couch / sofa bed. The next morning we should then learn why it was there. The first time i walked through the room with the sofa bed on the next morning, a urine smell got into my nose. With the perfume they probably tried to neutralize this obviously coming from the couch smell, which did not work out so well. The light in the bathrooms is especially for someone who wants to make-up a real humiliation, since almost nonexistent. As a woman you should also have not forgotten a tampon, as they are not available in the hotel. The breakfast is rich, but somehow hardly varied. For a cappuccino you have to line up in a long queue. The service staff often make you feel like you are not welcome. The actually direct beach access is not always open and you have to take the long way around the hotel around. There is limited parking for hotel guests and the pool was contaminated by cigarette butts and other trash (ice paper etc).
Everything
Everything was great as usual. Stuff at the reception desk was very kind. Especially Azam
Special thanks to Azam at the reception
Very friendly staff, complimentary wine and sweets and water in room, personal greeting and language settings in multimedia system. 2 times a day cleaning and drinking water renewal. Super various, fresh and tasty breakfast, wine included on Saturdays. Best view from the breakfast area/restaurant, balcony with a great view to a seafront. Staff really makes everything to make your stay brilliant. Good view and cute balconies with chairs, various bathroom facilities and good menu for room service
Furniture quite old and not at a good condition, somewhere you can find rust in bathroom. Balconies have a disadvantage: construction is such that if somebody smokes upstairs and throws cigarette butts they fell to your balcony. By the way I asked staff to resolve the problem that was done. In some rooms you can hear the noise of a road traffic if the balcony is open
Good facilities and location.
Quality of the services.
The location
Way too expensive for what you get. Didn’t receive the room we paid for but a cheaper one. They told us hotel was full. Room was worn, balcony door didn’t close right therefore very noisy, a/c very noisy as well and tv didn’t work but was repaired at 11pm only! I stayed at that hotel about 4-5 years ago and it was nice. After this stay I won’t be back.
room dirty, old and worn. Room not made up in a timely manner
Everything was fine
Location and delicious breakfast
Everything was nice ... pool area needs some major improvements. Food excellent!!
Pool area . No where to sit outside that was part of hotel
Really great location, very clean property and the people are great!
Nothing
The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. I think the best staff I’ve ever experienced and I’ve travelled all over the world. The breakfast was fantastic. The location and facilities were excellent.
Location is great, the breakfast is very good, and the entire dining room/Kirschen staff seemed to be from a different hotel to the reception. Very nice and helpful.
The staff at reception were terrible! From the very second we arrived, throughout our stay, everything we had to do with them was annoying and difficult. Partly probably due to some very strange rules (e.g we were asked to pay in advance for the rooms and not allowed to give a credit card number as security until we leave and pay with another card, which was not with us at check in, they also charged our card a security amount of €200 without even telling, let alone asking us before doing so). We’ve asked for a few things they might have for the children, and never heard back, including when we needed a thermometer for one of the children I called because I was alone with them and couldn’t go down to reception. I never heard back from them for over an hour and had to go buy one when my husband got back later on. These are just examples, it was like that with everything we needed or asked and they were generally unpleasant. Perhaps it was the overload of the second part of August? The concierge was on his mobile on a private call and we stood there for 5 minutes until deciding we better go out and get a taxi on our own. The list goes on and on....
Facilities and staff
Breakfast and location
This hotel is a 5 star joke 1. Everything is old , worn out and outdated 2.our blankets and pillowcases was dirty!! 3.The pool is awful , crowded and looks like a community pool rather then a hotel one. 4.dirty bathroom and hallways with crumbs on the carpet. I would not recommend this place especially with this price !!!
The service was good generally and the business lounge was nice. The lobby area was really lovely.
The rooms were very small, although we got an upgrade to a suite which was lovely. Balcony were extremely small on all rooms. The pool area was truly awful - extremely overcrowded and really not somewhere to spend any time at all. The hotel is really dated and needs a complete refresh.
Best breakfast ever, really well looked after by the guest manager Uli. We stayed for the first 3 nights post-wedding, during which we were upgraded twice, given complimentary chocolates, cheeses, wines... truly an unforgettable experience! Couldn’t recommend it more.
Make sure you ask for champagne at breakfast! We didn’t realise until our final morning that this was included.
Very pleasant overall Staff always helpful both at reception and breakfast
Balconies not very appealing
The staff was lovely !
Pool top crowded
The location is very good, the breakfast was good as well.
The rooms looks very old, definitely not 5 stars hotel.
The lady working as a Pool guard is so kind full of positive energy and very supportive
The check in procedure is long
Good value for reasonable price. Location is just perfect as it's located on the beach. All services are at high quality. We were here second time this year and the place has become our favorite in Tel Aviv.
I cannot recall anything.
Great location & breakfast. The rooms are comfortable & generous in size. We come here every summer for the last week of our summer in Israel before flying home from Tel Aviv. See you next year!
It can get very crowded at breakfast in July. The Jellyfish at the beach created a situation where it was dangerous to swim. We had to swim at the pool instead. The pool can get very crowded in summer. Please bring back the fish and chips at the pool. Thanks!
Staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly.
Needs a refresh. Felt old in the room, safe battery was too low to work and wifi kept dropping. Very expensive for what you get.
Location Location Location Staff good, rooms with great views of Tel Aviv beach.
A bit dated but not the dealbreaker. Will return.
Food and service and value
Nothing
The service, cleanliness, attitude, and food In other words it was horrible and I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. IT WAS FILTHY
